00:00Venezuela is making progress in revitalizing its mining sector with the
00:03signing of a strategic partnership in which the Venezuela Mining Corporation
00:07and the US company Hini Capital have entered into an agreement to develop
00:12projects in the country. The Minister for Ecological Mining Development, Hector
00:17Silva, emphasized that the agreement represents a first step towards
00:21strengthening bilateral cooperation and stressed that the partnership will
00:25attract investment and technology transfer to the country. Furthermore, the
00:29agreement focuses on two key areas for productive sovereignty. First, the
00:34certification of mineral reserves and second, the start of extraction and
00:39production operations. This alliance is taking shape amid unilateral sanctions
00:45imposed by Washington against Venezuela and shows the Bolivarian government's
00:49willingness to establish commercial relations with private sectors who
00:53recognize the country's economic potential.
