00:57:27and people would just leave they would go next door they would find people they would come back they'd have
00:57:32these stories with these people that they hooked up with next door and
00:57:35um and i mean we're doing slipping slides on the table with ketchup and mustard and mayonnaise
00:57:39we used to fully stocked alcohol closets at all times
00:57:42we're destroying the house i mean they're the stories that are untold and not talked about because they're so
00:57:49because they're that legendary
00:57:50we didn't tell them
00:57:51when we did
00:57:52yo when we did the island
00:57:53and you had to take a boat to get to where we were at
00:57:57we had no food
00:57:58but there was a keg there every day all day
00:58:00and rice and rice
00:58:02and rice beer and rice
00:58:05bananas
00:58:05you were eliminated on day one on your first challenge what happened
00:58:10usually the rookies are the sacrificial lamb
00:58:12i was the first one to go
00:58:13it's also tyler's fault too

00:58:15it was the first time i ever got betrayed by my roommate from key west
00:58:17he had an option of anyone any guy in the house and he chose me to go against an elimination
00:58:21and
00:58:23in the elimination basically
00:58:24it was basically a who called the other person's bluff first
00:58:28and i called his
00:58:29and i and and that's one of my biggest regrets
00:58:31and tj gave me a piece of advice that's always stuck with me
00:58:34and he said and this is true on the challenge to this day
00:58:35don't ever put your fate in the game in somebody else's hands
00:58:38and i did
00:58:39and it was a huge learning moment
00:58:41and um but i mean it really did ignite the fire for me
00:58:45because going home first on my first challenge
00:58:47i think what it did
00:58:49is it humbled me and it showed me how difficult
00:58:51and and this game is and how to respect it
00:58:54and then you know in summation
00:58:55because i've done 25 seasons since
00:58:57uh we've seen a lot of new rookie classes come and go
00:59:01and i have to say of all the seasons i've done in recent memory
00:59:04this is the most impressive rookie class we've seen
00:59:06possibly ever
00:59:08as like a protective father over this franchise
00:59:10i'm like actually happy with like whose hands it might you know be left in once we
00:59:15you know
00:59:16decide to go
00:59:17yeah so
00:59:18met a lot of great rookies
00:59:21and my future wife
