00:00It's now time to check in
00:01with Rochelle for tonight's
00:02weather forecast. Thank you
00:05bash. Good evening Trinidad
00:07and Tobago. It's Friday and
00:10it's time for your weather.
00:12Today was nothing short of
00:13scorching at daytime
00:15temperatures of 32.3 in
00:17Trinidad and 31.2 in Tobago.
00:20And we also had some Saharan
00:21dust in the mix as well. So
00:23if you found yourself
00:24congested or clear in your
00:26throat, that may have been
00:28the reason. Moving on to what
00:29we can expect tonight,
00:31tonight will be mostly clear
00:32and cool except for the hot
00:34shower with minimum
00:35temperatures of 23 degrees in
00:37Trinidad and 24 in Tobago. And
00:39our weekend will start off hot
00:41and sunny with some breeze at
00:43times with a low chance of
00:45brief showers developing during
00:47the afternoon. Also liming with
00:49us for the weekend, it's a
00:50mild to moderate concentration
00:52of Saharan dust. Please take
00:54the necessary precautions so
00:55you can enjoy your good good
00:57Saturday. Daytime temperatures
00:59will come in at 32 degrees in
01:01Trinidad and 31 in Tobago. And
01:04the light will stay with us for
01:05the next two days as well. According
01:07to the meth office, both days
01:09will be mostly sunny, hazy and
01:11breezy at times, despite the
01:13possibility of brief afternoon
01:15showers. On Sunday, however,
01:17those showers will favor western
01:19areas and Saharan dust will
01:21increase to moderate
01:22concentrations. Temperatures will
01:24come in at 33 degrees in Trinidad and
01:2632 in Tobago. Let's take a look at
01:29our sun times now. In Trinidad,
01:31sunrise is at 547 and 543 in
01:33Tobago and sunset at 618 in
01:36Trinidad and 615 in Tobago. If
01:38you're thinking about getting your
01:39feet wet this weekend, seas will be
01:42slight to moderate with waves one
01:44meter to 1.5 meters in open waters
01:46and 0.5 meters to 1 meter in sheltered
01:49areas. It's now time for your tight
01:51times. Now, before I go, one of my
02:04viewers told me that I have a fan,
02:06but not the usual fan. He's a
02:09parrot. The owner says anytime the
02:11weather comes on, his parrot flies
02:13toward the TV and actually pays
02:16attention to my forecast. This is
02:18him right here. Absolutely adorable.
02:21I love you guys so much. Well,
02:23that's all for weather tonight. As
02:25always, have a safe, fun and
02:27blessed weekend. Sachin has your
02:29sports news next. Thank you very
02:31much, Rochelle. I thought you were
02:32talking about this kind of fanning
02:34though. To come in sport, holy name,
02:36Port of Spain defeats SAG.
