00:00The family of Tara Gita Ramsarup and Shumaya Motilau say they are beyond grateful after a judge found 31-year
00:07-old Rishi Motilau guilty on two counts of murdering his wife and daughter and sentencing him to death by hanging.
00:14The express spoke with the victim's sister, Jisodra Rajaram, at her home today.
00:20I wish I could find a judge, hold she and just hug she up and still she thanks a million,
00:26like, just hold she like so tight until she thanks, thanks, thanks for that, for that ruling and that sentencing.
00:33Because we have been praying from day one, from the day she got murdered, until when we get justice, we
00:39were just praying for justice.
00:41And justice was served.
00:42And, and, as he used to always say, he used to always tell me when, whenever I go there, he
00:49used to say, he is above the law, nobody cannot do he nothing.
00:54And, that's the show, there's nobody above the law, God is above everything.
00:59And once there is God, there is nothing impossible.
01:03So, I am so, so happy with the justice that we get.
01:10I am so happy.
01:12And, maybe in future, I might meet you, or I might meet you, but, if she see me, I just
01:18want to say thanks, Sushi, for this.
01:2131-year-old Tara Geeta Ramsroop and 14-month-old Shamaya Motilal were killed back in 2024 by Rishi Motilal

01:34That's right.
