00:00What happened to spring? Well, there's no sign of it this weekend with chilly March-like air
00:06hanging on. Early next week, though, we sneak in a quick taste of May warmth. But don't get
00:12too used to it. That warm stretch will be brief as another shot of chilly air quickly returns.
00:18So enjoy Monday as you head back to work as it's going to finally feel like May. But we have
00:25colder
00:25air on the move, and as that colder air starts coming into that warmer air, we're going to start
00:29getting some rain and thunderstorms. We even have a threat of some severe weather ahead of that cold
00:35front as we head into Monday. And then some rain and thunderstorms arriving in the northeast on
00:41Tuesday. Behind that front, look what happens. You see that big swirl across Hudson Bay? What
00:46does that do? It brings down or forces the jet stream southward. What does that do? Bring in
00:52some much colder air during the middle and latter half of next week. Just take a look at Pittsburgh.
00:58We're right where we should be, Monday into Tuesday, and then temperatures fall off a cliff.
01:03And by the time we get into Thursday and Friday, guess what? It's going to feel like mid to late
01:10March again. And here's the not so good news. The chilly pattern continues from the lakes toward
01:16the northeast right in the mid bay.
