00:00Haley Bieber's Date Night Chicken Parm.
00:03This is not our typical Italian take on this,
00:05but she made it look pretty good, so we'll see.
00:07Start by pounding chicken cutlets.
00:09I'm going in with a little gluten-free flour
00:11and some almond flour.
00:13And then she seasons it specifically
00:15with 24 herbs and spices.
00:16Salt and pepper, oregano, and garlic.
00:19And egg wash, I'm just gonna do some eggs and water.
00:21Then she just dips her chicken in the egg wash
00:24and in the flour mixture.
00:25We're just gonna sear them.
00:27She didn't use a lot of oil.
00:28They're so thin, they're not gonna take long anyway.
00:30Probably just about like four minutes.
00:32Hers did not look that brown
00:33because she didn't really have any oil in there.
00:35I've got my spicy vodka sauce.
00:37Now we build.
00:38She does it in a separate baking dish.
00:39Put a little olive oil down.
00:41Then she slathers it, some spicy vodka sauce,
00:44and she topped it with fresh mozzarella.
00:47Here comes the parm to the chicken parm.
00:49And then she puts fresh basil leaves on the top
00:51into the oven, 375, till that sauce starts to bubble.
00:54And then she turns on the broiler for a few minutes.
00:56She specifies gluten-free fusilli.
00:59The star of the show, chicken.
01:01Feels cooked pretty perfectly.
01:05Flavor's quite nice.
01:06I love the use of the spicy vodka sauce.
01:09That breading really did get a little bit crunchy
01:11and toasty and it's not overly soggy.
01:14Definitely better than I thought it was gonna be.
01:16Haley, it's a good chicken parm.
01:17I will give you that.
