00:07What we are witnessing today is no longer something distant or abstract.
00:16It is already embedded in our daily lives.
00:21From the way we manage our finance,
00:24access public services, pursue education to how businesses operate,
00:33everything is now taking place within a digital environment.
00:40What was once considered a convenient has now become a necessity.
00:49We must ensure that every system is built on strong governance,
00:56clear accountability and uncompromising integrity.
01:01In addressing these challenges, we must move beyond intention
01:05and into structured, coordinated action.
01:11And this is where my digital ID plays a critical role.
01:19It is the foundation of national digital ecosystem,
01:23providing a secure and reliable way to verify identity online
01:30and enabling Malaysians to access services with confidence.
01:35Today, we are already seeing strong momentum.
01:40Millions of Malaysians have started using my digital ID.
01:45Today, my digital ID has surpassed 11 million Malaysians.
01:50Yet the number itself is not the measure of success.
01:54What matters more is what underpins it.
01:57It is users returning, engaging more frequently
02:01and beginning to rely on it as part of their daily interactions.
02:06Across more than 100 applications,
02:09spanning government services, GLCs, GLICs
02:12and government and private platforms,
02:15my digital ID is gradually embedding itself
02:17into the fabric of Malaysia's digital ecosystem.
02:21Not as a standalone solution, but as a shared layer of trust.
02:25We are now witnessing early indications of this transition.
02:29Login usage has nearly doubled in recent months,
02:32reflecting a 98.7% increase between the second half of last year
02:37and the first quarter of this year.
02:39This is not merely growth in numbers, but a shift in behaviour.
02:43And once a change in behaviour takes hold,
02:46its impact is reflected in the simplest of ways.
02:49Fewer passwords to remember, faster access to services
02:53and less friction between intent and action.
02:56Ultimately, that is the measure that matters.
02:59If we succeed, Malaysians will not speak about digital identity as a concept.
03:04They will simply use it as part of everyday life.
03:07And in time, perhaps even beyond it.
