00:00Mr. Post-Center Communications, Odea, Excellency.
00:04The intelligence systems are not just schools, but autonomous agents that will make decisions
00:09that affect our lives, our businesses, and our governments across borders.
00:15Now in such an environment, trust is not a given.
00:18It must be deliberately designed, rigorously tested, and consistently safeguarded.
00:25Malaysia is inviting trust at the heart of the digital transformation,
00:29through a comprehensive national ecosystem of safeguards.
00:33Central to this is the government's commitment to develop the digital trust and data security strategy
00:38of 2026 to 2030, and to establish an independent data commission to seek to its application.
00:47Together, these initiatives will strengthen data protection and governance,
00:51enhance suicidal resilience, and uphold the integrity of Malaysia's digital ecosystem,
00:55which will ensure that our progress in AI and research technologies remain secure,
01:01transparent, and accountable.
01:04The strategy will set a long-term roadmap for building resilience against emerging threats,
01:09advancing data integrity, and strengthening body confidence in Malaysia's future.
01:13So, it's not just about looking at where we've come from,
01:19understanding the problems, the challenges that we face,
01:22then pivoting to what we have today and what we need to do next.
01:27It is about ensuring that we have institutions, structures that are built,
01:31that are agile, able to understand where things would be in the next 5 to 10 years,
01:35if not more, and making sure that each and every country of ours is prepared
01:40for this next generation of technology,
01:43so that when it presents opportunities to our countries,
01:46when it presents opportunities to our region,
01:48we are ready to adopt it then and there.
