00:04Despite losing the series, the Texas Rangers closed it out strong here at home against the
00:08New York Yankees 3-0. Afterwards, we spoke with team manager Skip Schumacher and he says that
00:14that fifth inning set the tone for this game and let the Rangers know that they could do this and
00:19they did. I think we need to get length out of the lineup and have more guys, like I said
00:24before,
00:24kind of get hot at the right time or be who they once were, you know, heading into the second
00:30month,
00:31you know, trying to see some trends going the other way as well. We also got to speak with pitcher
00:35Nathan Evaldi, who had a tough go a few days ago, but this game came in and made a few
00:41adjustments
00:41on the mound between his splitter and curveball and was able to get things done. Splitter felt
00:46really good today. I felt like we had a really good usage of, you know, attacking these guys.
00:53And I'm kind of always adjusting with my mechanics and trying to find the right thing
00:58that feels good. And the story of the month, could Josh Junk be in that feared hitter that
01:03the Rangers are looking for? Skip Schumacher thinks so, but we'll find out as the Rangers head to
01:09Detroit to take on the Tigers of this Friday. For more on the Texas Rangers, tune into Spectrum
