00:00So, guys, in my career, I came up through tabloid journalism.
00:05Oh, I love tabloids.
00:07I worked for the Herald.
00:08I didn't always report the story that was the most, you know, straightforward,
00:14oh, just the facts, ma'am, stories.
00:16So I love that side of journalism.
00:21TMZ, leave Mike Rabel's wife alone.
00:24You and I have the exact same lead this morning.
00:27I can pivot, but go ahead.
00:30Yes.
00:30What about also Mike Rabel?
00:32But go ahead.
00:33Start with the wife.
00:34I'm focusing on her side of the street with this.
00:37She is not part of this story, guys.
00:39She is collateral damage from decisions that two other consenting adults appear to have made.
00:46This woman has to deal with photo drops at any time, sweatshirts from the airport,
00:52and Spotify playlists dropping.
00:55Like, she just, you don't need to follow her around and see if she's wearing the ring or not.
01:00We got to draw the line somewhere, especially when TMZ, you guys were offered this story first,
01:06according to reports.
01:07You missed out on the story.
01:09Page Six beat you on this.
01:11It's their story.
01:12Don't try to make up for it and play catch up now by following Jen Rabel around and snapping pictures
01:18of her.
01:19Like, just leave her alone.
01:20Nobody wants that.
01:21If you look at all of social media, which is usually a cesspool of, oh, like, they just want more
01:27and more and more,
01:28the overwhelming response is, leave this woman alone.
01:32So I'm just putting my two cents in.
01:34All right.
01:34She's not a part of this.
01:36Where do the rats come from?
01:39Like, that know what airport she's in, what time she's flying?
01:43Well, I'm assuming, I don't know how somebody figured out that he was flying into Salt Lake City Airport, but
01:50they figured that out.
01:51Right.
01:52So then I'm assuming that they went and hung around and cased the joint until she flew back out.
01:59I'm assuming that's what happened.
02:01But I would say, though, Greg, like, when we were in Nashville, if Mike Rabel, who I believe was with
02:07Jen at the time at the airport, if he was an international story, all you do is somebody text somebody
02:15and TMZ knows that he's on a flight on JetBlue flying to Boston from Nashville.
02:19Yeah.
02:20So somebody at the airport, which, I mean, my first thing was fly private.
02:26Right.
02:26Like, I know it's expensive.
02:29Right.
02:29But, like, in this point in time, what's more expensive, the headache you get from being spotted and harassed or
02:35landing at, you know, Hanscom?
02:37Right.
02:38And I get it like a texter's like, oh, Greg, poor Mike Rabel.
02:42So I just, listen, TMZ was waiting for him at Logan Airport and followed him and berated him all the
02:50way to his car.
02:51Yeah.
02:53Did, is Mike Rabel to blame for where he is right now?
02:57Absolutely.
02:59Is he the first person ever to do something that is not, not the right thing?
03:08No, he's not.
03:09But, so, like, you got, I said this last week, you got your pound of flesh from the guy.
03:15Like, how much more do you, like, do you want?
03:17Oh, they keep coming for it.
03:18They're just trying to play catch up.
03:20They're like, we didn't get this story.
03:21This is now one of the biggest stories of the spring.
03:24Page Six got it.
03:25We didn't know what we were looking at.
03:27We decided to draw a line somewhere.
03:29It's, but by my, like, my side, look, the video of Rabel walking and getting peppered with the annoying questions
03:37over and over, that's just TMZ's thing.
03:39Right, right.
03:40And I don't, like, I don't like it.
03:43Right.
03:43I can at least understand their perspective because he is the perpetrator of the story.
03:49Mm-hmm.
03:50The wife?
03:51Just leave her alone.
03:52And that, and the,
03:53Nobody wants that.
03:54And I don't know enough, like, how the whole TMZ thing works, but the wife video, that's at the terminal.
04:02So that's some, that's some slime bucket who just put, like, that to me is the worst thing.
04:08Like, people will just pull out their phones and just start recording people from, like, not too far of a
04:15distance and for whatever, like, they're not like, like you said, TMZ is waiting outside the airport.
04:19No, it's not like a traditional paparazzi.
04:21Yeah.
04:22Because she's looking around.
04:23Somebody has their phone down by their waist or whatever they, like, I, here's the argument, though, Mago.
04:29Yeah?
04:30Like, uh, texter on the Subaru of New England text line says, love you, Mago.
04:36But how about Mike Vrabel doesn't cheat on his wife?
04:39It's his fault.
04:40Oh, what?
04:41And she signed up for this?
04:42What?
04:43Right.
04:44Like, what is that argument?
04:45Come on.
04:45Yeah.
04:46Come on.
04:47If the argument is, not that you necessarily sign up for it, but you understand the world of being in
04:52the spotlight.
04:53And being in the spotlight means if you're a professional athlete, if you're an entertainer, if you're a head coach
04:58for a professional sports team,
05:01that your life is going to be kind of open to the public, especially in 2026 when just some rando
05:09pulls out a cell phone and can videotape you anywhere.
05:13But how many people do you know that would recognize Jen Vrabel?
05:16I mean, I wouldn't.
05:17Yeah, I wouldn't.
05:18I didn't.
05:19I mean, we were talking next to her and I didn't know who she was.
05:22And it's not like that doesn't mean it.
05:24It's just that I don't.
05:25Right.
05:26But you fall in this world, though.
05:28You know what I mean?
05:28Yes, but I don't think that Mike or Jen thought going to the store was going to be followed and
05:37captured.
05:38After the fact?
05:39Right.
05:40Like, if she was with Mike, yes.
05:42But, like, that she's, whatever she was doing, running errands with the photos yesterday.
05:46Like, that, to me, it goes a thousand percent right.
05:48I think they get it, though, now.
05:49Like, my wife would get it.
05:50Like, she understands, like, when you are married to an athlete or someone.
05:56Like, Mike Vrabel.
05:57An A-lister like yourself.
05:58Well, not an A-lister, but, like, you know.
06:00You know.
06:01I would say a C-list scrabbins.
06:03You can't move without the paparazzi following you.
06:06Well, no.
06:06No, he's going to paparazzi.
06:08I mean.
06:09They're following him about the check.
06:11Sir, sir.
06:12We gave you five bread baskets.
06:15Yes.
06:15I mean, like, wait a second.
06:16I thought that was getting this.
06:17You said you were going to only.
06:18You said it was only one meal, but you ordered every entree, sir.
06:21Well, that's one meal.
06:22One sitting is a meal.
06:24TMZ's like, excuse me.
06:25Hold on a second.
06:26You said you only eat one meal.
06:27We saw you eat five while you were here at paparazzi.
06:30Well, no, no, no.
06:30I ate.
06:31It's one sitting.
06:32So, one meal might be a combination of.
06:35It's called five courses.
06:37But I.
06:38Like, when you're in that world, you kind of get and understand what comes with it.
06:43Because, hey, guess what?
06:45When you're a head coach or you're an athlete, you make a ton of money and you're in the public
06:48eye.
06:49So, you and your wife, the kids are usually off limits.
06:53But even though you still know that's out there, you're always kind of being watched.
06:59And that's part of the nature of the beast.
07:01I don't agree with it.
07:02But that's what the cell phone in 2026 does.
07:05And you got it.
07:06And I think Vrabel and his wife probably know that.
07:08She probably knows, like, oh, man, if I go out.
07:11No, his.
07:12Mego's right.
07:13His wife did not sign up for it.
07:15We can argue about Mike Vrabel.
07:18Right.
07:18And I understand.
07:19I don't know what people want.
07:21Do they want him to be stoned in the town square?
07:25Like, do they want him to be.
07:26They want the tea.
07:27They want the juicy details.
07:29This isn't juicy.
07:30They're walking around the airport terminal.
07:32It's none of their business.
07:33Right.
07:34No, I know that.
07:34It's none of their business.
07:36But that's what they want.
07:39But when it comes to her, Mego's right.
07:41She didn't do anything.
07:42No, she didn't.
07:43But unfortunately, she's, you know, she's going to get hit with friendly fire because she's
07:48Mike's wife and she's part of that lifestyle.
07:51I just don't even think, like, the consumer wants to see it, though.
07:54That's my.
07:55Like, is anyone looking at it and they're like, oh, they were saying, oh, she's got her
07:59ring on.
07:59She's still wearing her ring.
08:00The pictures are her with her hands in her pockets.
08:02You can't even see that.
08:03They're just saying what somebody said when they sent them the pictures.
08:06By the way, she did look beautiful, though.
08:08But I will say this, too.
08:09Like, just speaking for myself, my reaction was like, God, that's like, what are you doing?
08:14Yeah.
08:14What was newsworthy about her going to the store?
08:17The ring factor.
08:19They didn't have the pictures.
08:20No, they did of her.
08:21There's still photos of her walking through the airport or you could see on her left hand
08:26a giant rock.
08:26Oh, I just saw.
08:27Yeah, just scroll through the photo.
08:30Either way, it's.
08:31And that's what they.
08:32She's walking around the airport.
08:33Yeah, no, I get it.
08:34But, you know, that's what they're looking for.
08:36They're looking for all the juicy details.
08:37Mego, excellent lead.
08:39From you.
