00:00Almost two years to the day after the January 6th insurrection, where Donald Trump's MAGA gang
00:05attempted to prevent the certification of a legal democratic election, the same is now happening in
00:10Brazil, where former President Bolsonaro's supporters are ransacking the Capitol. This video
00:15was recently captured from the air outside of several governmental offices, including the
00:19Presidential Palace. Thousands were present at the gathering that quickly became a riot. As far-right
00:25protesters ransacked the Brazilian Congress building, the Presidential Palace, and their
00:29Supreme Court, the yellow and green-clad dissidents descended on Brazil's governmental center after
00:34now-president Lula da Silva beat Bolsonaro in the elections this past fall. The race was close and
00:39required a runoff, ultimately with Lula da Silva taking the office. The president has blamed Bolsonaro
00:44for all of the unrest that has occurred, saying he riled his supporters up with claims of election
00:49fraud, much in the same way Donald Trump did in the months, weeks, days, and hours leading up to the
00:54attack at the U.S. Capitol. After hours of chaos, Global News Now reports that the buildings have been
00:59secured with dozens of arrests having been made.
