00:00Hey Vogue, I'm Aja Wilson, and this is what's in my bag.
00:06This is my favorite bag in the whole wide world.
00:09And my three LeBooBoo's.
00:11I didn't fall for the trend at all.
00:12Lovely fans got me these.
00:14These are their outfits.
00:14This has to be my favorite one,
00:16because these just decked out in the A1 brand.
00:19You know how we do.
00:20This is the outside of the bag, but inside the bag,
00:22oh, it's about to get lit.
00:23My wallet.
00:24And I have to have two pairs of glasses,
00:28because I really don't know what the function may bring.
00:32So I always make sure that I'm prepared.
00:34These are my Michael Kors.
00:35I kind of got like a smooth little silver action going on here.
00:39And then I got the staple black pieces.
00:42They're a little dirty, but I'd be needing to see.
00:45And then I have my Louis Vuitton wallet
00:46that I will not open up for you guys, but it's heavy.
00:49I would say when it comes to my glasses,
00:51it's one of my favorite accessories
00:54because I feel like it just aligns with my face,
00:57if that makes sense.
00:58I kind of like this.
00:58It's a business look.
01:00So when it comes to my lip gloss,
01:02I just make sure that I have something
01:03that is just not just cute and glossy,
01:06but more so it actually moisturizes my lips when I need.
01:08And I love my lip gloss kit,
01:10because it's not just a lip gloss kit.
01:12My pimple patches, gotta have them.
01:14I wear these in game.
01:15It doesn't matter.
01:16I have to have my pimple patches.
01:17So this is kind of like a lot of different things.
01:19When it comes to my lip glosses,
01:20I like them in any type of way.
01:22I love this case because it has a little mirror.
01:25So this is my brow and hair essentials kit.
01:32Obviously, Edge Drop Sacred, they do their big one.
01:35Put that on all the time.
01:36But when it comes to my brows,
01:38I love a good brow work
01:40because it kind of brings the face together
01:41without having to do a lot of makeup.
01:44And this is kind of just like the glue
01:46to make the brows stick.
01:48One of my favorite kits, for sure.
01:50And take it from someone that doesn't really pay
01:52a whole lot of attention to her hair in game.
01:54I try to at least make sure that my brows and edges are intact
01:57because that's the first thing people really look at.
01:59I never wanted to lose the beauty of being a woman
02:03and a girl that can still hoop and still crush it on court.
02:06So ever since I was a young girl,
02:08I would always tie my uniform different
02:10or do something different just to bring my personality
02:13to the court.
02:14This is my bathroom kit.
02:17I'm terrified to open this.
02:18So I'm just going to talk about it.
02:20I have my TIE to CO wipes.
02:22I got to have my Olay hand lotion.
02:25Got some Pupri up in here.
02:27A little bit of everything.
02:28This is really for planes.
02:29Like to make sure that I have my bathroom with me
02:32when I go on planes.
02:33I have some plane etiquette folks
02:34when you go to that bathroom, please.
02:36People use it after you.
02:37I'll be making sure my vitamin C is on lock
02:40when I go on the road.
02:41And I think everyone should do that.
02:42And also my congestion relief spray.
02:46I'm ready for this plane ride.
02:48I do not play with people and their germs.
02:51My favorite snack isn't the healthiest.
02:55I love me some Sour Patch Kids.
02:58And let me tell y'all, these strips,
03:00they're new on the block and they're fire.
03:03Am I a person that gets the snacks before they drop?
03:06I don't know, maybe.
03:07And gotta have the classic Sour Patch Kids.
03:09And the blue ones are the best flavor.
03:11I sometimes think me, myself, I'm a Sour Patch Kids.
03:14So why not have them as a snack?
03:16My teammates sometimes even know
03:18that I'm going to always have a snack on me.
03:20So they like to ask me for things,
03:21but I don't like to share.
03:23These could come out in between a game.
03:26Anytime my stomach's growling, the snack's coming out.
03:28And I have no shame in that.
03:29Oh, yes, y'all.
03:32This is my favorite thing in my bag.
03:36This is my grandmother's coin purse.
03:38Literally, she carried it in her purse.
03:40And for people that don't know me,
03:41I have a wonderful relationship with my grandmother.
03:44She passed away in 2016.
03:46When she passed, my mom said
03:48that she left this coin purse for me.
03:50And when I tell you it has everything down
03:52to her like driving license and identification cards,
03:55it's just a reminder that she's constantly with me,
03:58like literally, and this is a piece of her
04:01that I carry with me every single day.
04:02So I don't put coins in it because my heart's in it.
04:05I feel like my grandmother was just,
04:07she always just showed up as her true self
04:09and she was always passionate in whatever she did.
04:11And she loved knitting quilts.
04:13She loved putting Legos together.
04:15She loved watching her.
04:16Like it was just anything that she just saw
04:18and was a part of.
04:19She was always just so passionate
04:21and giving and kind.
04:23And I hope that I can be a pinch of that
04:24when I play or when I come in contact with fans
04:27or just the life that I live.
04:30My bag buddy is something that me and my boyfriend both have in our bags.
04:37This is Ollie the octopus.
04:39This has been in multiple bags, suitcases, anything.
04:42This is something that my boyfriend and I share
04:44because the way our seasons are, we sometimes overlap
04:46and we're not always there for each other on the road.
04:49So we got each other these little squishmallows.
04:54Just when we see them, it reminds us of each other.
04:57And I love it deeply.
04:58He's my best friend, my right hand, my better half.
05:01And so these are just reminders of him.
05:03And yeah, he has one in his backpack as well.
05:06I'm such a sap.
05:08I'm such a girly girl.
05:09I love it.
05:09Okay guys, more things.
05:12When my boyfriend sends me like flowers or edible arrangements,
05:14I keep the notes.
05:16This is a note he actually wrote on a Ritz-Carlton notepad.
05:20And Bam does this thing where he hides him.
05:22He hides him in all of my stuff.
05:23And sometimes I feel like I love it because
05:26I don't necessarily read the note right then.
05:28But when I find a note, sometimes I need exactly what the note is about.
05:32And I'm grateful to have somebody like that.
05:34And so, yeah, I don't really read them all the time,
05:36but it seems like they're always on time when I do read them.
05:40Becky, my coach, she made us write something that we wanted to accomplish
05:44before a game.
05:45And she was just like, after the game,
05:47I want you to read your note and see if you did what you wanted.
05:50And I can read you actually from here.
05:51I said, trust God, release all your burdens onto him,
05:54play free and play forgiven.
05:56And like, I literally wrote this before a playoff game actually.
05:59And we ended up winning the game.
06:01Okay. Yeah.
06:02This is another one I can't really open up,
06:03but this is my girl's kit, y'all.
06:04But everything I needed more when it comes to just being a girl.
06:07I got my Tampax up in there.
06:08I got a little medication to help me calm down a little bit
06:11when people are getting on my nerves.
06:13Always prepare.
06:14That's another thing my mom always taught me.
06:16Just growing up, just be prepared.
06:18Always be prepared for any moment.
06:19And I am, I make sure even at the age of 29,
06:22I'm going to always listen to my mama and be prepared.
06:26I hope that, you know, women athletes are,
06:29and including myself, that we are building a platform for
06:32particularly the younger athletes to be able to be them true selves.
06:35Like it shouldn't be taboo that I'm like, I have my Tampax.
06:38It shouldn't be taboo that I'm talking about my body
06:41and what I have to go through.
06:42Like, yes, I play on my period and I kick ass on my period.
06:45That should be talked about.
06:46And I hope that as women athletes that we continue to uplift this platform
06:49and let young girls know that, no, you can still be your true self
06:53and live through that while being great at what you do on the field,
06:57off the field, on the court, off the court, no matter where you are.
07:00Yeah, y'all, this is the technology.
07:02This is where it gets a lot of fun.
07:04I have my brand charging kit.
07:07It got all my cores, my headphones, all that up in there.
07:10When it comes to my phone, my Google Pixel, I do not play around about it.
07:13You see, I have my little influencer thing.
07:16But yes, this is my Google Pixel 10.
07:18And then this is my eye mask.
07:21I go into just a different world when I put this on.
07:24It massages everything here. It heats. It plays white noises.
07:29It just really calms me down.
07:31When you cut it off, she says goodbye.
07:32Like, it's pretty legit.
07:36When it comes to our TikToks, I may have something to do with it.
07:41Am I the CEO of Bringing It Together? Maybe.
07:45But it doesn't flourish without the help of my teammates.
07:48So they are really the ones.
07:50I love my teammates because they're always down for a good time
07:53and shenanigans.
07:55Every time we have a viral TikTok, we win a championship.
07:58So it might be something there.
08:01Pulling out the heat.
08:03Now, y'all, this isn't just your ordinary UNO games.
08:06This is the customizable wild cards.
08:09This has shuffle hands in it.
08:11So it can get busy.
08:13When I talk about it gets busy, it gets busy.
08:16And am I the queen of UNO?
08:17I don't know. Ask my losers.
08:19They know.
08:20I don't mess around when it comes to UNO.
08:21I have no friends, no family, no cousins, no dogs, no pets, no fish,
08:25no uncles, no aunts.
08:26None of that when it comes to UNO.
08:28Every man for themselves when it comes to this UNO game.
08:31But Bam don't make the game fun because he talks so much junk
08:34and it really makes me mad when he wins.
08:36When he wins, he be throwing the cards down like spades.
08:40I really don't be fooling around with that.
08:42But yeah, he is the most competitive person I play.
08:44And it's very disrespectful.
08:45We have this rule called jump in.
08:47And jump in, let's just say, I got a green three.
08:50If you have a green three as well, you can play it out of turn.
08:54Keeps everybody on their toes.
08:56Make sure you got that same card.
08:58We don't really play by the rules.
08:59Sorry, UNO.
09:01Y'all, this is my layer, my AKA layer that I had since I crossed fall 17
09:05at the University of South Carolina.
09:07Theta Gamma Chapter.
09:08You already know what it is.
09:09Skiwi muscle bars.
09:11I am like so grateful for the sisterhood that I formed in college through AKA,
09:15only because it allowed me to be a woman.
09:18It allowed me to be a young girl because sometimes being a student athlete,
09:22you're kind of trapped in this world of just like gym, class, gym, class.
09:26Like that was it.
09:27But when I gained my 60 sisters, I got an opportunity to actually enjoy the college side of it,
09:34to see them, to see the paths of life that they were coming from.
09:37And so as I've gotten older and I've become a leader and I've been in it and I'm put in
09:42different situations, I have to credit AKA and our sisterhood when it comes to that,
09:45because it tests you to see if you are really down for it.
09:49I'm down for it.
09:51I can't give y'all my whole information.
09:53It might see my social on there or something.
09:55This is my passport.
09:56I leave it to Asia.
09:57I lost my passport before I needed to go out of the country.
10:01So I had to get it like expedited.
10:03So it was, I had to take what I had to take.
10:05Cause normally I had, I got tattoos in my passport.
10:08And it's another note.
10:09See, they're everywhere.
10:12Anytime I have an opportunity to travel for the Olympics, it's truly amazing
10:17because I'm surrounded by the best in the world.
10:20I mean like the best of the best.
10:21Obviously winning the gold medal or meddling at all is a blessing.
10:25I had Tokyo and Paris.
10:27It has been amazing to just watch people be so great at what they do.
10:30I think my bag tells me that I am very prepared.
10:36I got a little bit of everything.
10:38I'm ready to be on go.
10:39Like if the world ended, I could take my person.
10:42I'll be pretty solid for a couple of days, which is pretty good.
10:46Come on us.
10:48I got all my stuff in my bag.
10:49I'll see you next time.
10:50Thanks Vogue.
