00:08What do you want young people, what do you want to work and how do we do sustainable?
00:14What do you need in Colombia to create jobs that respond to these demands, not only of the young people,
00:19but of the global modern world?
00:21The world is too fast, it is evident that what we are doing is going to walk a different speed.
00:30The trajectory of today is how you connect to the world digitally, in a way that we are able to
00:35do the power for the world that we are living and that we are going to find.
00:38How do we do that for a 20-year-old child to see an opportunity in the cafeteria of the
00:43grandfather's grandfather and his father?
00:45Today, through the technology and innovation, we are going to find an opportunity.
00:49It is not to be able to afford or to be less expensive that companies contraten young women, but generating
00:54aspirations.
00:55We create a whole model of passengers, have passed 5.000 young people.
01:01What does Alison mean?
01:02Tell a young young people, you can.
01:05The opportunity is to be there and to be the opportunity.
01:08The young young people ask what they want to work, they tell you everything.
01:13And they tell you that they are in a company, because we are away from the discourse,
01:17the opportunity is to be there, it is difficult, it is very complex.
01:21We have been able to have 10 years ago, a very beautiful program called Horizontes.
01:27It was in the school of 1, 2 and 3.
01:30We are called Ciencia, Tecnologia and Ingenieria.
01:33So we have no idea what we remember, but in reality,
01:35what we have been able to do in the semillas is a lot of what is happening to the city.
01:39Because those young people also saw the city, the opportunities in another way.
01:43The institutions, both public and private, have to repensate the way they come to the young people.
01:49What is what they need to do in the young people?
01:50Because many times they see the young people, or they feel like they don't know, but even with desprecious.
01:58Because it is not only the field, the institutions also realize that they are staying without young people who come
02:06to their offers.
02:08So then there is also the need to think about what they want the young people.
02:12That is also like the invitation to the private sector to keep getting closer to the territories,
02:18and that they know the projects, not only that they see, but that they see.
02:22First, from the institutions, is to take a little bit of the sesgo towards the youth.
02:28You go to the doctor and if the person who is very young is the typical comment is,
02:34you know, this guy, what do you know?
02:36Knowing that he has all the same knowledge.
02:39So, as a society, the fact that we don't appreciate the youth,
02:43because it was the society that we formed, right?
02:46So, today we are the reflexes, many times, of what we have there,
02:51whether to replicate it or to cut it,
02:53precisely because we understand that there is no more for us
02:56and that there is to generate certain changes.
02:58Hablando of young people, I think it is new.
03:01Realmente, in the case of the city of Medellín,
03:04since 1994, they have begun to use programs for attention to young people.
03:08They have tried to reduce the participation of young people
03:12and they also have given other opportunities
03:15from this permanent support.
03:18What we do is injecting illusions.
03:21The children need illusions,
03:24and the adults, yes, it is true,
03:26because when they don't have illusions,
03:30they are desubicated all the time
03:32and then they are vulnerable
03:34so that the armed groups or illegal groups
03:38come and take them.
