00:00Who is going to win tonight between the New York Knicks and the Atlanta Hawks?
00:03Why?
00:04Because that's going to go a long way to determine who wins this series, Joe.
00:07And currently, the favorite tonight is the New York Knicks to win game number five.
00:11Therefore, they have the edge.
00:12So in the Kelsey marketplace, a 70% chance that the New York Knicks win this series
00:17where it's currently sitting at, which means if you invest $100 on the Knicks
00:21to advance past round number one, that pays back 143.
00:24But, Joe, if you come in on those underdog, Atlanta Hawks,
00:29$100 investment pays back 313 if they take the series.
00:35Yeah, so you got to game five is huge, right?
00:39We know this here.
00:40It looks like the Knicks have figured some things out.
00:44But I think the thing they figured out is they played with a sense of urgency, Donnie,
00:48that we had not seen prior.
00:49And I think that's where the experience comes in here.
00:52I think they're the rightful favorite here.
00:54They should be.
00:55They're the rightful series favorite.
00:57But I don't know that I would back Atlanta here because I do think the Knicks win the series.
01:04I don't think it necessarily goes to seven games.
01:07So if I was going to do anything, instead of betting Atlanta in the series,
01:12I would bet Knicks in the series.
01:15But I would bet Atlanta and take the points tonight
01:18because there's better value in Atlanta, you know, covering and staying within this number.
01:24But if they lose anyway, Donnie, I'm not getting any value by backing Atlanta in this series
01:31and thinking, you know, the price I'm going to buy now is going to be much worse
01:35if they lose this game tonight at the Garden, which they likely will.
01:40But, you know, losing the game and staying within six and a half, seven, two different markets.
01:46So Atlanta in the game with the points, but the series market,
01:49I don't see any reason to fade the Knicks here.
01:53Going on a three-game win streak.
01:54You know who's going to have to do that?
01:55That's the Detroit Pistons here.
01:57They're the number one seed going up against the eighth seed.
01:59And how about this?
02:00Orlando currently trading at 69% to win the series over the Detroit Pistons.
02:05Do you think the Pistons can come back as a one seed?
02:07They got all their metal.
02:09They're ready to go now, Joe.
02:10Well, $100 investment pays back $3.23.
02:12But anything you saw from the series so far doesn't show us that Detroit's going to win
02:16three games in a row, let alone the next game on the docket.
02:19But, Joe, that's why we have it here.
02:22Is there any chance that Detroit can come back?
02:23And is it worth $100 investment on them to do so?
02:28No, it's not.
02:29I mean, first of all, game five, the line is already inflated.
02:32We've seen that, right?
02:35And I don't see that.
02:36And that tells me, Donnie, that the market is not necessarily – it's not a big enough
02:43move here for me to think that Detroit coming back is, A, in the cards to win three straight
02:49games in a series where I've already watched them barely – they didn't even make 90
02:54points, Donnie.
02:55It's very hard to win games in a postseason if you can't score here.
02:59So, I don't see any value.
03:01They're so overinflated right now.
03:04Even with the game five number on the board, they can't stop turning the ball over.
03:10Yeah, Orlando, I hate to say it, is an eight seed.
03:14There's better places to go here.
03:16I would save the money than thinking maybe now is the time to get in on Detroit.
03:21I don't see that happening.
03:22I think it likely ends in five.
03:24From a dog to a favorite here, Joe, we talked about that series between Minnesota and Denver.
03:29It's like, ooh, everybody's injured now.
03:30Can they come back from the series?
03:32They're still plus money.
03:33Way after last night, they're no longer plus money.
03:35Take a look at the Cal State marketplace right now.
03:36Denver is the favorite to win the series now over the Minnesota Timberwolves.
03:40Currently trading at 58 cents on that yes contract.
03:44A $100 investment pays back 173.
03:46If you think Minnesota can win, they had one chance last night.
03:49Weren't able to get it done.
03:50They'll get their best chance at home, but still with a lot of banged up players.
03:54If you feel Minnesota can win one out of the final two games, Joe, $100 investment on the
03:59Minnesota side does pay back plus money at 228.
04:03We told you yesterday it was all going to come down to game six in Minnesota, and the injuries
04:10continue to pile up.
04:11Nas Reed with an ankle injury is another issue now for Minnesota.
04:15We told you grab the plus money with Denver to win the series because if they won last
04:22night and they won by more than double digits, which they did, yeah, we were in the minus
04:28150s, 160s here, and it's not good here.
04:32I don't believe Minnesota has got as currently constructed and healthy.
04:36They don't have enough to be able to even go home and win a game six.
04:41So last chance to get a reasonable price on Denver, because if it goes to a game seven,
04:47Donnie, they're going to be a two-fifth, you know, they're going to be $2.50, $3 favorite
04:51one way or the other.
04:52And in this market, that means you'd have to pay 80 cents for a game seven.
