00:00Round number one in the NBA playoffs, Joe, we were thinking to ourselves,
00:03Mike Brown's about to get fired.
00:05The pressure's on.
00:06They're going to lose to the Hawks.
00:08They didn't lose to the Hawks.
00:09They didn't lose to the Sixers.
00:11Now lining up against the Cavaliers up 2-0 after a 109-93 victory last night.
00:17Heck, they might sweep the Cleveland Cavaliers and wait over a week
00:19to play against the Western Conference champion in the finals here,
00:23rested and ready just like they are for this Cleveland Cavaliers series.
00:27You're seeing the depth of the New York Knicks.
00:30Going up against a team that's basically running on fumes at this point.
00:33Have a big game, Donovan Mitchell.
00:35Have a big game, James Harden.
00:36It doesn't matter.
00:37Third and fourth quarters matter, and that's where the Knicks really turn up the vice.
00:40Again, same thing last night, Joe.
00:42The Knicks with a walkaway victory up 2-0.
00:45It looks like, honestly, look, series isn't over, but it looks like it's over.
00:50Yeah, well, again, but we've seen this with the Cavs, right?
00:54I mean, we saw them lose two games to Detroit, and then they go home,
00:58and they're a different team at home, and we've seen that the Knicks,
01:02if they're going to struggle anywhere, they have struggled on the road.
01:04So if this is truly going to be a special season for the Knicks,
01:09they've got to dispatch this Cleveland team quickly.
01:12Do not give them a chance to come up for air, Donnie.
01:15Stick your foot on them.
01:16Bury them.
01:17Be done with it.
01:18And wait to see if it's OKC or the Spurs as they pretty much just devour one another
01:24in the Western Conference Finals.
01:26Like, again, the series isn't over.
01:28It's like it's 2-0.
01:28You're going back to Cleveland.
01:29Let's win some basketball games.
01:30When you just put it in the terms of, okay, Cleveland has to win four out of five games
01:34against the Knicks, it puts things in perspective here.
01:36You're behind the eight ball with a must-win game, kitchen sink game,
01:39as you like to say, in game number three.
01:41Now, getting into the kitchen, Joe, let me tell you right now.
01:44A really good pizza pie, slice of pizza, nothing in the world beats it.
01:49When you're hungry or you had an accomplishment, it hits even harder.
01:53Look at Josh Hart right here.
01:54Let's see.
01:55Josh, have you ever watched?
01:56Oh, wait a second.
01:58Wrong, Josh.
01:59Wrong, Josh.
02:00Wait a second.
02:01You don't have to come up.
02:01No, not Josh.
02:03Wait a second.
02:04No, not.
02:04Oh, there he is.
02:06Why not so far?
02:07I don't know.
02:10Oh.
02:13Are you a crust guy?
02:16Yes.
02:19No, hold on.
02:20All right, we got a lot of things to go over,
02:21because as soon as Josh Allen popped up, Joe, I had to read the rundown.
02:24Like, I can't believe I just messed that up.
02:26But then again, why are we talking Josh Allen when we're talking about the Knicks?
02:29But understand this as well, Joe.
02:31A slice of pizza is very versatile.
02:34Like, hey, I got a meeting.
02:35Like, you just pick up a slice of pizza, walk in, you hammer it down as you're going.
02:39It is the perfect type here.
02:40But also, eating in front of the presser here probably makes everybody hungry.
02:44But the question that was asked, are you a crust guy?
02:48Who's not a crust guy out here, Joe?
02:51There are some.
02:52We've always sat across from that one person, you know, eating a pizza.
02:57And the plate is just piled high with the crust, like, which is the best part.
03:01Like, what are we doing here?
03:02That's like the person that leaves, you know, all the meat on the chicken wing.
03:06Like, what are you doing, man, at this point?
03:08Like, that thing, it's got to be bone dry.
03:10What are you doing?
03:12Now, hear me out on this.
03:15Like, the evolution of pizza for me growing up as a kid, like, there was many different ways that I
03:18ate it.
03:18The one thing you never did was eat it with a knife and fork.
03:20That's ridiculous.
03:21But there was a time growing up, Joe, where, like, in my area back, like, we have a pizza revolution
03:26over the past 20 years, which, thank God, it's beautiful in South Jersey.
03:30Migrating in, pizza's fantastic.
03:32But the extra cheesy pizzas, sometimes, Joe, I'd pull the cheese off, eat the actual crust and the slice, then
03:38eat the cheese.
03:39Well, that's when you're, like, 8, 9, 10 years old.
03:41You don't know any better, Joe.
03:42But you know what I do do?
03:43I like to count the slices myself.
03:45Not as I go, 1, 2, 3, 4, and pull them up.
03:48I'll eat the pizza, Joe, but save the crust and eat the crust last.
03:53I love the crust.
03:54It's very rare, Joe.
03:55Joe, I'll eat the entire slice of pizza, crust included.
03:59I do it almost backwards at that point.
04:01Like, okay, I had six slices, then I take down the crust.
04:04Do you have any specialties, Joe, when you eat pizza?
04:08I like, to me, Donnie, it's all about the simpler, the better, right?
04:13Do not get all crazy.
04:15The sauce has got to be right.
04:17The fresh basil's got to, you got to make it, it's got to be very simple.
04:22Don't get crazy and ruin the pizza with 9,000 different toppings and everything else.
04:26Just enjoy the pizza.
