00:00I've got a question for you.
00:01I don't know if many people saw this come.
00:03The Detroit Pistons finally get there as the number one overall seed.
00:06They look like they stink, Kevin.
00:08Give me a little synopsis of the Pistons,
00:10and now the Sixer fans themselves are like,
00:12man, if we could have just avoided Boston,
00:14we would have smoked the Pistons at this point.
00:16Is that how bad the Pistons are?
00:18I think for Detroit, you were supposed to have two all-star level guys,
00:26and you have one best player in the conference level guy
00:33in Cade Cunningham, and that is it.
00:37Jalen Duren, I don't know what's going on,
00:41and you know it's bad when people are like, he's only 22.
00:45They're the one seed.
00:47He could be 12.
00:48He averaged 20 and 11 in the regular season,
00:52and because a lot of it is dunks, he shot 65% from the floor.
00:59We are four games into this series.
01:02He has yet to record a double-double.
01:04He has not scored more than 12 points.
01:07He has yet to grab 10 rebounds.
01:10He is shooting under 50% from the floor.
01:14It is bad, bad right now for Jalen Duren,
01:19and I know some of the final scores are, you know, pulled away a little bit more.
01:26Games three and four are one-possession games in the fourth quarter,
01:31and that is with Cade Cunningham feeling like the only Detroit Piston
01:37who is showing up for the most part here.
01:42A sore Thompson finished top three in defensive player of the year,
01:46and he feels like he'll be a part of a recalibration coming for Detroit.
01:52You do not win 60 games, be the one seed, get eliminated in round one
01:58without recalibration.
02:00You have to, have to, have to look in the mirror
02:03unless they can complete a major comeback here.
02:07He looks disinterested too, which it's kind of like he got punched in the mouth
02:12and he has no idea how to respond, and it's amazing what Orlando has done to him.
02:17What about what we saw from Minnesota last night?
02:21Are we thinking they got a shot, they have to win game six,
02:24or if they don't win that, it's pretty much over?
02:27You know, it's interesting.
02:30Minnesota has been really fun to watch in the early portions of this postseason,
02:36and they have a core who have routinely made the conference finals,
02:41and not for all the injuries, I think they would have been able to give San Antonio
02:46a heck of a series and absolutely be more than capable of making
02:51what would be a third straight Western Conference finals.
02:54But heading into yesterday's game, I thought Denver would complete the 3-1 comeback.
02:59And the books were, you could tell, prepping for that as well.
03:06The Nuggets were only plus 125 to win that series, heading into game number five
03:13with an 11-and-a-half point number, and you look now at the game six number,
03:18six-and-a-half, that is not small.
03:21I mean, I understand it's a road favorite, upsets happen,
03:25but it would be a legitimate upset for Minnesota to win that basketball game.
03:30And again, game seven, you're talking about another 11-and-a-half point number,
03:35if not bigger, depending probably on how game six goes.
03:39Despite the 3-1 lead Minnesota had, I think it would be still unacceptable for Denver to lose.
03:46They lost their starting backcourt, including by throwing away their best player
03:52in a series Denver was already favored to win.
03:55The Nuggets should win this series.
