00:00:57their advantage i'm a bit nervous she's gonna get chopped off soon

00:01:41justin is someone that is underestimated in this game and he is hungry he wants to impress he wants
00:01:47to show what he's made of and that is huge as a partner especially for a new threat

00:01:58for a little while no offense nods all right yeah she's uh definitely one of the pretty girls

00:02:36pick is gabe this is a win because he's one of the biggest guys in the house and for whatever
00:02:40reason he doesn't get picked i'm gonna take that and run with it i'm gonna go with gabe
00:02:44i get picked one of the last picks i don't like that feeling feels like i'm a loser and now

00:02:49back and i'm overthinking i'm reevaluating my whole game i'm just kind of confused at this point

00:03:23that gameplay and still work hard i get along with everyone but there is definitely people that i'm
00:03:27closer with izzy adrian olivia as well derek and theo but i think that comes down to us all hanging
00:03:33out in the same wardrobe we love a good closet hanging out good job girl
00:03:41so how does it feel from what i understand with knee injuries if it's a torn ligament it's the side
00:03:46to side movement does it feel weird yeah it's off so i'm getting checked out that's your knee i do
00:03:52like
00:03:52an mri because i'm just listening to my body unfortunately i've never been injured before
00:03:56and it feels like it's getting progressively worse so the next step would be to get an mri
00:04:01love you thank you for the advice go get it done and check it out i'm having this internal struggle
00:04:08of wanting to know the truth about what's happening to my body but also not wanting to know the truth
00:04:13because if it is severe then that means that my time here might be potentially cut short
00:04:21i keep on getting picked last i'm tired of this i'm a big person that likes to come here prepared
00:04:28and some people i see prepared and some people i don't see prepared these challenges are no joke
00:04:32most of them have been filled with some type of physical aspect naya has been having issues with
00:04:38her knee it's almost like you can go on home we rookies is playing this game slow we're playing
00:04:45we're trying to all play a perfect game not trying to piss people off but we came here to freaking

00:05:05gabe's not happy having naya his partner yeah at some point he had said that she was a weak player
00:05:10yeah i'm minding my business and i hear my new partner gabe has been talking about me
00:05:16i'm shocked it would be one thing if he was talking about me after we've already competed
00:05:20together but the fact that i'll be going into the next challenge with a bad taste in my mouth
00:05:24about the person that i'm supposed to be trying to win with is completely unsettling
00:05:28some of these rookie dudes are giving me
00:05:30talking too much
00:05:34i've heard what happens like everyone's pretty shocked because there's no one
00:05:37i just like i didn't need to hear that very loose-lipped

00:05:48ready to play this game for gabe and it's just like
00:05:52he took the air out of it i love this gabe doesn't realize that everything you say will

00:10:47that naya went to the doctor to possibly screw me over and i still need to prove myself
00:10:55walk into this quarry and i see this giant ass tower i see the water i learned how to swim
00:11:00two months
00:11:01ago so i'm not feeling good about this at all i'm so scared but i can't let it show bananas
00:11:08is my
00:11:08partner i don't want to let him down i mean it's obvious that the uk alliance is working against me
00:11:15america she's kind of on an island now that blue's gone so this will be a good opportunity to uh
00:11:20establish a new relationship all right everyone welcome to your next challenge here on vets and
00:11:26new threats how's everyone feeling like your new partners i can be partnered with any of these guys
00:11:37and we'll figure it out i know that will had his issues with deep and things got kind of crazy
00:11:42but
00:11:43if anybody knows me they know that i can deal with crazy i used to be crazy
00:11:50i just want to say congratulations to tay by winning the last elimination you made it to where
00:11:57we had an even number of pairs until naya has a hurt knee what i'm here to compete and i'm
00:12:05hoping that i
00:12:06can get my mind back right because i don't have to compete with gabe for one more event and then
00:12:10i can
00:12:10kick him to the curb so naya unfortunately we are still waiting on your mri results which means until we
00:12:17know the full extent of your injury naya and gabe you are unable to compete in today's challenge
00:12:21i am frustrated i'm frustrated at the fact that i cannot compete is the injury real what goes through
00:12:30my mind is her saying i could throw you to the wolves if i wanted to you're out of here
00:12:34if i say so am
00:12:35am i just getting sent straight into elimination
00:12:46naya and gabe you are unable to compete in today's challenge
00:12:53unfortunately naya and gabe cannot participate in today's challenge so we're not sure if her sitting
00:12:59out means that they're automatically in last place and to be honest like no shade to my friends but
00:13:05you don't want to come in last because you're automatically going in the arena today's challenge
00:13:10is called water tower
00:13:16as you can see we are in this giant working quarry out in the middle of that water there's a
00:13:22giant
00:13:22container when i say go one of you is going to jump in the water swim to that container you'll
00:13:30then
00:13:30climb it grab the flag at the top and then take a leap of faith in to that container
00:13:40what the in the middle in that container your partner is going to swim to the other raft with the
00:13:48puzzle while they're trying to solve it you will then have to swim under the container to escape
00:13:56your partner you start trying to solve that puzzle however it cannot be finished until you two are
00:14:03together with that flag now if you fall off the tower you and your teammate will be disqualified
00:14:09the team with the fastest time will win today's challenge all right good luck everyone let's go
00:14:14i love you dj i love you i didn't do so hot in the puzzle last challenge so we're gonna

00:14:22that today i think i got the puzzle on look he's got the swimming down pack so i think we'll
00:14:27be a good

00:14:33what i'm best known for from survivor was my swimming i'm an endurance athlete through and through so this is
00:14:39my day i think me and derek have an incredible opportunity to win this today and to not even
00:14:49just show everybody that i am a mermaid but to make them cry about it
00:15:04it is deeper than i expected i'm like oh i'm gonna need a bigger breath
00:15:11but not enough to stop me this girl is a true threat she might as well be a veteran because
00:15:17she's
00:15:17really showing out today let's go let's go derek i got it come on derek
00:15:36help don't they help tell me you heard it again
00:15:42the falling from these depths like i don't i can't see what's going on with derek i'm just afraid that
00:15:47his knee snapped off and he's crying for help help i'm just trying to regain my composure
00:16:01and i'm able to get my ass under that wall underneath
00:16:18i'm gonna be going up the wall and turbo who's obviously amazing at puzzles is going to smash
00:16:23out the puzzle in about 10 seconds the strategy is to pace yourself because you need the energy to get
00:16:28up that wall she's right i don't have to edit anything all ready hey look at that current oh
00:16:39where's america america she's not even swimming towards the platform she's literally swimming
00:16:43towards america this is going to be up to me where's america no matter how many strokes i go
00:16:48i feel like i keep going in the same direction which is not the direction that i want good job

00:17:14so i have to prove myself in this puzzle can johnny do the puzzle or can you not help you

00:17:46wow this is definitely a challenge i'm super excited this is the
00:17:51original person i wanted as my first partner so i'm very happy to get this opportunity right now
00:17:55and looking at that i mean ain't nothing to it but to do it
00:18:01this was the one person i really wanted to partner with so uh swims like a dolphin i heard she's
00:18:06uh not
00:18:07the best swimmer but that's okay one i elected to do the rock climbing a little scared of heights
00:18:12but i'm very prepped to conquer that fear today let's go car
00:18:20Olivia would be a bad one to win if she does she'll do everything that she can to send me
00:18:26into an
00:18:35elimination justin once again is killing this challenge he is an underdog that i think people are
00:18:42starting to pay attention to you i got it i got it i got it put the flag in there

00:19:21i haven't swam since i was a kid i don't really know where my swimming abilities stand but i do

00:19:27that i had a swimming costume and it had loads of badges on it so i should still be all

00:19:51i am jumping because i'm the rookie and he's going off really she wants to do it i do

00:20:55vet guys i think we're relying as the vets on like the inexperience and the fear kicking in
00:21:02i'm not seeing it and i think we really have exposed a glaring weakness on our side

00:24:37the first order of business naya and gabe naya you were unable to compete in today's challenge
00:24:44so you automatically get last place this is a female elimination challenge so naya i'll see you in the
00:24:54arena now gabe that doesn't mean you're out of the woods just yet because if she loses an elimination
00:25:00you become the hang now yes sir i want to compete i want to stay in this game and i
00:25:06feel like i'll be
00:25:06fine it's a tweak me what's the worst that could happen i've seen people play through worse injuries
00:25:11and continue on and i'm going to do the same as for the rest of you top eight is everyone
00:25:17that finished
00:25:20however the first place team
00:25:24getting eight points
00:25:29justin and olivia
00:25:42so justin and olivia you are safe from elimination and you now have the power to save
00:25:48one other team from nominations it's a girl's day if america goes in position because i'm obviously tied
00:25:56to her and she's going to be a likely target for the female vote because it will be me potentially
00:26:02going in as well as the hangnail if she loses see you all at nominations get out of here good

00:26:18i won i'm not gonna say i was expecting to get first but it feels correct
00:26:22i'm over the moon right now y'all this is just
00:26:27it is interesting not having people in this game that i've played with a lot
00:26:32derek's the one that played with the longest and hung out in real life with the longest and he's great
00:26:35at puzzles he's going to be a puzzle king and i feel like i have kind of just stood in
00:26:40the shadow
00:26:40and that's by no one's doing other than my own because i would be like what if i fail and
00:26:46what i'm realizing over time is
00:26:48no one is good at certain things until you become good at certain things
00:26:55you know what's so crazy is like you're the girl with the most points right now well me and johnny
00:26:59are tied
00:27:02that's wild yeah naya and olivia is who i'm really working with the most in terms of that women
00:27:07i really want naya to come back and i think america would be probably naya's best chance at coming back
00:27:14if it does help us bring naya back guess who's a hangnail and guess who's sitting out on the next
00:27:19boys day and guess who's very likely to get voted in banana i don't need to be defined by being
00:27:29the
00:27:29best at anything i seem to be defined by being a hard worker and someone that has heart yeah

00:28:39first of all i cannot be happier to be sitting at a winning table with two people that i absolutely
00:28:43love and i'm so proud of the fact that you guys kicked ass individually but also together where's
00:28:48your head up because i also have my opinion as well um and it's just opinion and we can totally
00:28:53bounce off because i respect you so much and what you have to say my issue is that i feel
00:28:56like i have
00:28:56such a good relationship with so many of the girls at this house because i'm like this social butterfly
00:29:05the gay boy that's always with the girls my closest girls right now would be lekka she's not on the
00:29:10chopping block d she's gonna be fine sydney she's gonna be fine i would say my least biggest
00:29:15relationships are little izzy adrian and taylor justin is bringing up the people in my alliance
00:29:20and i'm like wait stop it like i want to recruit bold women i want the izzy's the adrians i
00:29:26want girls
00:29:26that are not scared to speak up for themselves and fight and actually earn their spot in this game
00:29:33taylor threw me in i don't really care to save her adrian i already voted against her izzy we've
00:29:40had good conversation we've had good talks the best thing i've ever learned is when someone says
00:29:45your name instead of getting revenge you're like look i know you did this to me i'm actually going
00:29:48to do you a solid because squashing that animosity actually works out in your favor i think i want
00:29:53to be the double agent for all the alliances and play both sides so saving izzy might benefit me very
00:29:58very well unless you have anyone else that you like are thinking but i think everyone's pretty
00:30:02safe other than i think i'm sure duh if i'm gonna have a voice to say i'm gonna say put
00:30:07america in
00:30:08i feel like this is the perfect opportunity to make bananas the hangnail and it's simple as that

00:30:31apparently olivia has decided to spearhead this anti-banana mission make no mistake this is just
00:30:39a convenient way to put my game in jeopardy just because i've won seven times my takeaway today was

00:32:26i'm only looking out of this event because right now y'all at odds it's all awkward it ain't gotta
00:32:30be so the key is talk to her hey i messed up whatever i apologize the position you in brand
00:32:36hold your head high it happened now the key is to help her win because if not you're hanging up

00:33:06i think that's the best thing i can do at this point in time so i do want to have

00:33:09her because if she lose you lose and you sit out the next challenge and you think for a second

00:33:15we're about to go in there and and as dogs working all day during the challenge and you just sit
00:33:20out
00:33:20absolutely not so we are just kind of going back and forth with who we want to say but we
00:33:26want to
00:33:27agree on the same person to save and how it could maybe benefit both of us so your name obviously
00:33:32came
00:33:32up i for me i think that you have scratched my back from day one and it was not good
00:33:40it was the
00:33:40path less traveled i'm starting to get slightly worried there's definitely a strong divide between
00:33:46the vets and the brookie girls at this point aside from olivia and baby anissa the other vet girls
00:33:52nani ashley and aviv i definitely feel like they probably love for my name to be going around
00:33:58there has been a divide between us and our friends that wasn't from us and i don't i don't like
00:34:07the
00:34:07divide but i feel like if we were to use that vote to save you this would be one of
00:34:11those we save you
00:34:12and if i needed my back scratched now i feel like you i will say this you will be my
00:34:18top priority i love
00:34:20that because like i said like i from like just out the gate you were riding and i was like
00:34:25okay girl you
00:34:26i think the easier thing for me to do would have been to go with johnny yeah of course absolutely
00:34:31but i was not going to do that i was going to go with who i could get on with
00:34:34and i connect with
00:34:35so we're we're not like i guess we're shooting it yet we're figuring it out but um that's where our

00:35:11partner yeah that's fair enough that's how i got eliminated my first season yeah so i got a little
00:35:18heartburn of our partner i think most of the new threats are very confused on how to play this game
00:35:23but if i can give advice it is a great opportunity to start sowing those seeds of a relationship
00:35:28so that if push comes to shove they're on my side and not against me how do you think the

01:01:33seeing another vet go home.
01:01:35Now there's two vets.

01:01:37Ever since coming in here, I've had the mindset
01:01:39that I wanted to absolutely destroy the vets,
01:01:43every single one of them.
01:01:44And I wanted it to become the Rookies games,
01:01:46because I feel like that's how we could all make a name for ourselves
01:01:49and show them that we deserve respect.
01:01:51I want to absolutely slaughter all the vets,
01:01:53and now it is to finally our chance.
01:02:05It's just a bummer, because I felt like I had a nice little stride here in the beginning.
01:02:10In both challenges, I was able to put two points on the board.
01:02:14One of the things that I didn't really tell the rest of the house is that my knee was bothering
01:02:17me,
01:02:17and it kept getting worse and worse, and I did everything I could on my end to rehabilitate it,
01:02:20but it just wasn't enough.
01:02:22I would have rather gone in there and got my ass handed to me and lose in battle
01:02:27than to walk out without having a chance to fight.
01:02:30But I have to listen to my body and bow out gracefully this season.
01:02:33And a lot of times people think that you have to be the strongest swimmer,
01:02:36the fastest runner, to have the best political game.
01:02:39All those things are necessary tools, but this is a game that anybody can win,
01:02:43even someone like myself who has continuously been counted out.
01:02:46So I'm rooting for everybody out there, and I think that any of them can take home the crown.
