00:20:01you will use that key to unlock and solve a survivor puzzle.
00:20:07The first team of six to finish earns the merge meal.

00:54:43So, Eva, you've been so open in sharing what you deal with in social situations and the difficulties that can
00:54:49come with that.
00:54:50So, how are you doing with 13 people?
00:54:52I mean, I like talking to people.
00:54:54The hard thing is I don't know if they're lying to me.
00:54:56I'm not going to pick up on those social cues in the same way that everyone else is.
00:55:00But I'm not going to let that hold me back in this game.
00:55:03And I think I've made good connections with people that hopefully they feel the same about me.
00:55:08And sooner or later, they will lie to my face.
00:55:10But right now, like, I'm hoping that I can trust people.
00:55:14Joe, if you spend enough time with people, you will develop emotional connections as well, not just surface social.
00:55:21How does that change the game fundamentally?
00:55:24Well, Jeff, to really build some of these great alliances and some really good connections, you have to be vulnerable.
00:55:30And because you go through so much stress emotionally, mentally, physically, you share it with these people on top of
00:55:36their stories.
00:55:37So that vulnerability strengthens you so much, just like it did with Eva and I.
00:55:41Even though it might seem crazy from the couch, you get so vulnerable in these moments that within days, you
00:55:47feel like you've known for years.

00:55:49And to echo Joe, I didn't expect to be telling things to these people that I haven't told to my
00:55:54closest friends and family.
00:55:56And I think if you look around, everyone's nodding because that's exactly what happens. It's very weird.

00:56:03It's complicated because these are real connections with real people.
00:56:07But I'm also on Survivor playing this game with one goal in mind, and that's to win Survivor.
