Last night I did something silly, I decided to check if both the Super Nintendo Mouse, and Mario Paint worked on a steam deck. With the Power of the Retrode2 it actually was.

00:00Nintendo as a company is very protective of its game, to such a point that playing it on their own
00:05systems is either exorbitantly expensive, or requires a monthly fee.
00:11So the idea that you'd be able to play Nintendo games on a non-Nintendo system is pretty ludicrous.
00:18Except, with the right hardware, you actually can.
00:22This is a Retrode, and plugged into it is this Super Nintendo mouse and Mario Paint.
00:29And as you can see, the mouse actually works, and if I click on the game, you can see that
00:38it's actually loaded.
