00:04and to be able to keep these guys as fresh as possible
00:08and roll through is an outstanding thing to be able to do right now.
00:11And so I'm not here to lay out playing time or anything like that right now,
00:15but I'm really pleased with the group that we have.
00:19What about undrafted creations?
00:20Obviously now the next 24 or 48 hours is pretty critical in that regard.

00:28I'm going to stay in this room as long as possible.

00:34But it's a difficult, frustrating process sometimes.
00:41So the scouts each have a position that they're working through with the position coaches,
00:46and I'm happy to be an overseer where I just pop in room to room
00:51and offer people a slice of pizza.
00:53And if you need me to make a phone call, I'm happy to do it.
00:55But those guys work really hard at this part of the process.

00:59I'm happy to stay in this room for as long as possible.

01:06Just getting back to the kit for me, did Jerry coach him in the East-West?
01:12He was around him at the East-West.
01:14I don't know if he was on that team.
01:16I am pretty certain he coached him at the East-West.
01:18I'm trying to think of my notes specifically if it said that Jerry coached him at the East-West
01:21or Jerry just liked him at the East-West.
01:24I can double check on that.
01:25Absolutely.
01:26No, I think we had a lot of coaches in the All-Star Games.
01:29We maybe didn't get all the players that they had coached and really liked,
01:33but it was good reference points on all those guys.
01:35And so I think the willingness for coaches to do that right after our season ended,
01:40to go take a week away from their families after a long year
01:43and go put in the time to coach these guys and get to know it,
01:46our coaches were really willing to do that.
01:48And sometimes you have to submit your name and be selected.
01:51So not always – our coaches are always selected to do it,
01:54but I can think of a handful of guys that went and did it,
01:57and it was a really good reference point for our staff.
02:00If you look back at, from the very beginning,
02:03your plan to reconstruct the defensive line back in January or February to where it's at now,
02:09how many pivots were there along the way?
02:12How challenging was it going through that?
02:14Because, I mean, you guys used about every avenue possible to try to do this.
02:19Like, how many changes were there?
02:21Did it kind of go to the plan that you guys were staring at in January?
02:26I don't think there's any way you could have predicted it would get us to the point we're at right
02:30now.
02:30I mean, that's hard to predict.
02:33But you're right, we did it every way, whether it's just early in pre-agency,
02:36whether it was a release for a guy that we loved, whether it was a trade, draft.
02:42I'm really excited about the group that we've acquired.
02:44And sometimes, you know, you get caught up so much in the moment of the offseason in pre-agency,
02:49and the angst of it all.
02:51But a lot of our best years, I think, have happened similar to this,
02:55where it's a guy just comes at you at a time you didn't really expect it to happen.
03:02I can think of Von Miller.
03:04I mean, Von Bell, you know, kind of came to us later in the free agency period,
03:09and what a huge boost to our defense that was over the time he was here.
03:13So, you know, it happens a lot of different ways, and this is the way it happened this year.
03:16And I'm just really happy with the work that was done upstairs
03:20and the guys that they gave us to work with.
03:21And I hope that, of course, happens quite often to get rid of Lucky women.
