00:30Everything's pretty near its breaking point.
00:3231-year-old Parker Schnabel is closing out the busiest season of his life, running 24-7 for six months.
00:42And it's paying off.
00:44He's close to breaking his 10,000-ounce goal, but is barely ahead of neighbor Tony Beetz.
00:52Mitch is busy running the stripping program in the midst of, you know, trying to keep Roxanne running
00:57and starting our next pit on the Indian River for next year.
01:01And then Tyson is just, you know, fighting to keep the three plants on Dominion running.
01:10To hit his goal this week, Parker's cranking up his four wash plants to run even more pay dirt.
01:18Just got to keep these wash plants running.
01:21Parker, got a copy, Parker.
01:23Exactly.
01:25Yeah, go ahead.
01:26Got a big problem with Roxanne.
01:29Got some cracked cross tubes here.
01:36All right.
01:37Yeah, I'll let Mitch know.
01:38He'll come up and have a look at it with you.
01:42Stupid man.
01:49Hey, Mitch.
01:50What's happening, man?
01:51Just trying to figure out the best way to get rid of this water over here.
01:56Alec just radioed me, and there's bigger problems.
02:00There's a bunch of cracks in the screen deck on Roxanne.
02:04Oh, no good.
02:05He's up there having a look at it.
02:08And we're only like, what, 400 and change away from hitting our goal?
02:12So we'll just have to keep trying to babysit it through the season and then figure out a plan.
02:18Yeah.
02:19On the plus side, gold has another record high today.
02:22That's awesome.
02:23Nuts.
02:23That's totally crazy.
02:24But yeah, let's try to keep that thing banging if you don't mind.
02:27All right, we'll go have a look.
02:28Thanks, man.
02:31Only two years old, wash plant Roxanne already has cracks in its structural tubes.
02:37If not fixed, they could break apart and damage the plant, putting it out of action for the rest of
02:44the season.
02:45How's it going, buddy?
02:46So this whole cross tube here is compromised.
02:48We'd be looking at maybe two days downtime to replace this tube here and that tube there.
02:54There's no way Parker's going to let us turn this wash plant off for any length of time.
02:59So probably just pop those screens out, weld her up the best you can.
03:03Hopefully it's got enough life left in it to get to the end here.
03:06Oh, yeah.
03:06If you look at the gold prices right now, every one of these mine bosses has the same mentality, dude.
03:11Crank them up as hard as you can.
03:13Get as much material through them to get as much gold.
03:16Yeah, for sure.
03:17Thanks, buddy.
03:17Take care, Mitch.
03:22Okay.
03:24That's the guy right there.
03:26The one I'm after.
03:28Let the music begin.
03:32I love my job.
03:34This is one of the worst cracks that I've seen on the plant that we've actually kept running.
03:43The crack just keeps going.
03:58Damn it.
04:01Are you still in there?
04:04Oh,
04:08Hey, Matt.
04:09Hey, I've hurt my foot pretty bad.
04:13I need some medical attention here.
04:16It's coming up to you.
04:18Okay.
04:19Thank you.
04:27You all right up there, buddy?
04:30I'm hanging in there, Matt.
04:33Let's see that thing.
04:36Does that hurt pretty good?
04:38It hurts beautifully.
04:39Yeah, I thought so.
04:41A 4,000 degree piece of molten metal flew into Alec's boot, searing his flesh, causing second-degree burns.
04:51All right.
04:53I'm going to flush it with this and get this burn dressing on there.
04:58Definitely clean that out really well when you get home.
05:02Yeah, spelted my sock real good.
05:05Put, like, antiseptic gel on it.
05:08We'll just keep working, I guess.
05:10Gold star for you, buddy.
05:11Yeah, right.
05:13Well, that's happy to help.
05:15Thanks, Matt.
05:16See ya.
05:17There's no one else here to do this or to help me, so I just suck it up and keep
05:23working.
05:24Foot patched up, Alec gets back to welding Roxanne.
05:29And with Roxanne back on her feet, the crew have a fighting chance of hitting 10,000 ounces by the
05:36end of the week.
05:38All the welding's done.
05:40I'm just reassembling the top deck and get ready to start sluicing here.
05:52Fire in the Roxanne.
05:55Here we go.
06:03Let's get sluicing.
06:04Let's get sluicing.
06:18How's your foot doing, man?
06:20I don't feel it right now.
06:21Whatever Matt did's really working good.
06:23Well, Matt, thanks for being a trooper there and just patching it up and buckling down and getting it finished.
06:30What do you think, man?
06:31Will it last a week?
06:33That's a million-dollar question right there.
06:34No warranty, no guarantee, but fingers crossed.
06:40Great job, buddy.
06:41We're washing rocks.
06:54Well, here we go.
06:55Last bucket of pay in Vegas Valley.
07:00We're finally right to the very end here.
07:05We got the last pay out of Vegas Valley.
07:08It's not really a good thing.
07:11This is our last chance, and we've got to treat it that way.
07:14It'll be our last chance in the Yukon ever.
07:16While Parker chases down 10,000 ounces, Rick Ness has only just edged past 1,000.
07:25His rollercoaster ride of a season has seen him expand his ground and become flush with claims.
07:31But red tape and bad luck have backed him into a corner,
07:35and his weary crew are battling to reach 1,800 ounces to earn their bonuses and secure their future.
07:44This has been the coldest morning we've had so far.
07:47Had to fall up and run real quick before we could fire up.
07:51Once you see that, you know that winter's coming.
07:53Now, Rick's new Vegas Valley cut has run out of pay much quicker than he expected.
08:00Not only is the weather starting to creep in, but, I mean, our PayPal's dwindling fast,
08:05and it's only a matter of time.
08:07I mean, we're down to days and weeks now.
08:11With just two weeks left to get over 700 ounces,
08:15Rick is hoping for a massive final payday from Vegas Valley
08:20to take the stress off his new cut, The Last Chance.
08:24The easy option right now would be to pack it up, you know, lick our wounds, go home.
08:29But now we've got to pivot.
08:31We have to move on.
08:32That's why I made the decision to, you know, open up this new Last Chance cut.
08:36I don't think anybody's that excited about opening up a new cut this late in the season,
08:40but we need more gold, and then that's where it's going to be.
08:44At Duncan Creek, Rick wants to keep following the Vegas Valley pay streak
08:49upstream and plans to move north, opening the one-acre Last Chance cut.
08:57Before stripping can begin, the area must first be drained
09:01by digging a channel to release the water into the mined-out Vegas Valley.
09:07While it's draining, Rick will clear a ridge of trees and loose rocks
09:12to make the cut safe to work in.
09:14Finally, Rick's crew must then dig down 40 feet
09:19to hit the top of the gold-rich pay layer he's praying will save his season.
09:25And he wants it all done before the last of his stockpiled pay runs out.
09:34You got a copy there, Bailey?
09:35Yeah, go ahead, Ricky.
09:37What do you figure there?
09:38Are you ready to cut this water through?
09:40Yeah, I think we should be good to go.
09:43All right, well, just make sure you take it easy.
09:45Sounds good.
09:52The water over there, we got to cut it through the bank over here.
09:55We're going to slowly just crack it down there and let that water run out and dry out our new
09:59cut.
10:07There it goes.
10:12How's she looking, bud?
10:13Looks nice and slow to me.
10:14I like it.
10:15Yeah, it looks like it's a good pace.
10:19All right, well, yeah, we'll just let it drain for a bit,
10:21and then we'll get back to digging.
10:23Sounds good, man.
10:25Vegas Valley's done, and it's very late in the season,
10:28but we got another cut to open up, and we wanted 1,800 ounces,
10:31and this is the first step.
10:33So we're moving on.
10:38To help him on his quest to open the last chance,
10:42Rick hops into the rebuilt 700.
10:46The 700's been down, you know, the bulk of the season here.
10:50This is our second biggest excavator.
10:51To have it back now is a big deal, so.
10:53We'll be getting the last chance cut open up in no time.
10:57After the 700 broke down earlier in the year,
11:00Rick spent 50 grand on a complete engine rebuild
11:04and can finally put it to work for the first time this season.
11:08These trees are really close to the edge right at the top of the last chance cut,
11:11but then once I get these trees, you know, moved back,
11:15I'll be feeling a hell of a lot better about Bailey being underneath.
11:17That's where the pay is.
11:18Then moving closer to the bank.
11:20There they go, wrong way.
11:24I enjoyed that one, since they're over the edge.
11:27You feel pretty tough with a chainsaw knocking trees down,
11:30but that's nothing compared to knocking trees down with a 70-ton excavator.
11:36I can't have them falling down.
11:37I was trying to get some work.
11:38I can't even hear that.
11:42Put the tree.
11:46Damn it.
11:47Oh, I saw an oil squirt, too.
11:55Yeah.
11:59Oh, he definitely got a hydraulic leak
12:04Hey Ryan
12:05Hey man, can you meet me up by the 700
12:07I hooked a tree with a hydraulic line
12:11Alright, thanks
12:14Just got this thing back running
12:23Hey man
12:24What's up?
12:26Oh, it looks like a seal spray
12:27I hooked it on a tree line
12:30I heard something hissed and then I saw some spray
12:33At least it's not the hose
12:35Yeah
12:36Yeah, that needs to be fixed
12:39Let me grab my glasses
12:52That's why I f***ing hate this s***
12:56Just let loose like that
13:00Stupid s*** bull s***
13:15Mechanic Ryan Kent has been hit in the face with hydraulic fluid while fixing Rick's 700 excavator
13:25Let's throw you a s*** hit in the face, man
13:27Yeah, it's fine
13:27Let's just get it done
13:34Yeah, it spit that seal right out
13:35Yeah, you can see it, it's damaged
13:39It's taking the coupler off, it holds the hydraulic lines right now
13:42You can see where the O-ring actually pushed out
13:45It might have already been loose, who knows
13:46But I know when me hitting it on the tree didn't help it
13:49So
13:51Slide it
13:55So there's your two different seals
13:57This one's just seen her days
13:59Pull it out and then we'll just slide it in
14:03Just tighten these bolts down
14:04And should be able to get it right back in action
14:08Start it up
14:09Yeah, make sure we're not going to leak
14:10Okay
14:13If it doesn't leak, we're in business
14:23Looks good
14:25Good to go?
14:26Yep
14:26Nice, man
14:30Got no leaks
14:34Everything seems back to normal
14:35So we got lucky with this one
14:39We are back in business
14:57It's getting late in the day
14:58The weather is holding up
15:00So we're going to try to keep all four plans going
15:03If that is the case
15:04We're likely to hit 10,000 ounces by the end of the week
15:07But this is something that I've never done in 40 years of mining
15:13Tony, do you copy Tony?
15:15Could you come have a look at the corner cut with me?
15:18I'm on my way
15:20Tony Beats has already banked more than $35 million
15:25And after his bumper 1,000 ounce gold haul last week
15:30The king of the Klondike
15:32Is in striking distance of 10,000 ounces
15:35And edging in front of Parker
15:38But there's a problem
15:41How's it looking, Mike?
15:43This corner cut is almost done
15:47So we've got to figure something out
15:49Because we don't want to run out of pay
15:53So we're not going to have enough of the season here then, huh?
15:56Doesn't look like it
16:03Let's come up with a plan
16:04So that we can run both plants till the end
16:08The early bird cut did pretty good in the beginning
16:10But it might be an option
16:12Move one plant over there
16:15See if there's anything there
16:16We can strip and still sluice
16:17The gold price as is today
16:19We've got to keep on going till the bitter end
16:22Why not?
16:23What the hell?
16:25On the Indian River
16:26Tony has opened up more ground than ever before
16:30And he's reaped the rewards
16:33His twin wash plants
16:35Running in the massive corner cut
16:37Have consistently delivered huge gold waves
16:41But now, its pay is running out
16:44And he has to go in search of another rich spot
16:47Tony will start his treasure hunt
16:50Next to some of his richest ground of the year
16:53The early bird cut
16:54Where he's praying the gold-rich pay continues
17:01We are a little bit of a fishing expedition
17:06I'm going to go and poke around
17:08See if I can get it down to ground
17:12I mean, down there, I don't know what that is
17:14Looks like gravel
17:17Let's see if it's going to continue
17:23Whoa!
17:26What the f*** is happening, eh?
17:30I got lucky there
17:32We're taking here for 15 minutes
17:33And I'm running into some nice gravel
17:36So it's pretty much a no-brainer
17:39To get the hell in here
17:40I mean, it is laying right there in front of you
17:43Gravels
17:44A light brown dirt with small rocks
17:47Are a strong indication
17:49There's good gold here
17:51And Tony's found some
17:53Just six feet below the surface
17:55We're going to strip this out
17:57Because I like to have this down by pay
17:59By the end of the week
18:03Okay, guys, somebody bring that 950 over here
18:07And they bring me two trucks
18:10Make sure one of them is the 50-tonner
18:12To strip the early bird extension quicker
18:15And avoid shutting down a plant
18:17Tony brings in his monster 950 excavator
18:21Capable of moving 10 tons of dirt
18:24With every bucket
18:26Three buckets, two truckloads
18:27Bingo, you make something happening that way
18:30And to shift all that dirt fast
18:32An A-40 rock truck
18:34And his new toy
18:35The A-50
18:37With its 7-ton increase in payload
18:40Today, Tony got me in the A-50 for the first time
18:44It's awesome, man
18:45Like, it just looks so futuristic, you know
18:49He wants us to collect down the pay
18:51By the end of the week
18:52Do you see me?
18:53There's back on the need me
18:54Darian
18:59The bigger the truck, the bigger the load
19:01The more you get done
19:07I'll just throw a fourth one in it
19:08Just for good measure
19:11What's one more, right?
19:13Power load, this car
19:16This 50-ton truck seems to take another bucket full
19:21Maybe I'll buy more 50-ton trucks
19:23Hey, that's an idea
19:28There's a lot of dirt in the back of the truck
19:30Like, it's crazy
19:46Tony's so keen to get the dirt out of here
19:47He's overloading me
19:56It's too heavy
19:57Like, it was at 66 tons
19:59So, I couldn't dump
20:03Now, why is that 50-ton are coming back?
20:08Hey, Darian, why are you coming back with a full load?
20:20Hey, Darian, why are you coming back with a full load?
20:24I can't dump, it's too heavy
20:26Rushing to get his new cut down to pay
20:28Tony has overfilled Darian's 50-ton rock truck
20:33It's what?
20:35It's too heavy to dump
20:36I can't dump it
20:39Go back there with a truck
20:41I face it downhill
20:42And then it'll dump
20:43Okay
20:51Yeah, dump it like that, Darian
20:52That's his work
20:57There you go
20:58Take one
21:01He's a smart guy, you see
21:02He knows all the tricks
21:04If Tony can get his new cut stripped
21:06And down to pay by the end of the week
21:09He'll be back on track
21:11To hit 10,000 ounces
21:13The corner cut could be done in a week
21:16I want to have this cut ready
21:19If the turn's out good
21:20Then we just keep on sluicing until the very end
21:37I thought we'd have 10,000 ounces by now
21:43But it's proving to be a bit elusive
21:47We need to press those wash plants a hell of a lot harder
21:50In a Herculean effort to get 430 ounces
21:54And hit 10,000 by the end of the week
21:58Parker is pushing his crew and wash plants hard
22:03With Parker's decision to run the absolute piss out of the wash plants
22:08So we can hit our gold total
22:10I got Big Red running a little hot
22:14So it's definitely putting a lot of stress on the plants and whatnot
22:18But you know
22:19It's not my call
22:22I'm just here to do my job
22:24And keep Parker happy
22:36Oh, ****
22:38****, ****, don't stop
22:53Liam, Alec, you got a copy?
22:57Yeah, go for Liam
22:58Hey man, I'm going to need you to come up to Big Red
23:07John, what happened?
23:14Radio stacker quit on me, buddy
23:17Oh, it looks like we got a super slimy belt here
23:21It gives no friction to the belt
23:22So when it makes its way up to the head drum
23:25The head drum will just spin there
23:28Why we're getting so much mud on the inside of the conveyor
23:32Maybe it's just not coming in far enough
23:34Yeah
23:35We need a bit more overlap
23:37Like from this head drum into this rock box
23:40So the material doesn't stack up here
23:42This hopper is buried in material left and right
23:45So what do you think?
23:47We got to move the radial stacker back?
23:48Yeah
23:49We have hydraulics on this so I can just run the hydraulics a bit
23:52And sort of like inchworm it back a bit
23:54How do you inchworm a radial stacker?
23:58The stacker's going to have to be up in the air
24:00And then as long as the axle end
24:02Which is usually planted with those power wheels
24:04Was free to come towards this plate
24:09The radial stacker would effectively move backwards
24:11And now it's top heavy and unsettled
24:15If it wants to roll away with a conveyor up like that
24:17Like who's to say it's not going to fall over to?
24:18It's definitely risky
24:21Pay dirt from Big Red's hopper conveyor
24:24Is getting under the wash plant's radial stacker
24:27And coating the inside of its belt
24:30Which is then traveling up to the drive pulley's head drum
24:34Making it slip
24:36Stopping pay from being fed into the plant
24:39Moving the hopper feeder's conveyor forward
24:42Would solve the problem
24:44But it would require time
24:46And an excavator they don't have
24:48Alec's quick but risky fix
24:51Is to inch the 120-foot radial stacker
24:55Back by three inches
24:56So it sits further underneath the feeder conveyor
25:00Stopping the pay getting under the belt
25:03First, he'll raise the top end of the radial stacker up
25:08And use its weight to generate downforce onto the axle
25:12Then, by lifting the axle's gull-wing brake wheels off the ground
25:17He hopes to inch the stacker back towards the feeder conveyor
25:22But, if he loses control
25:25It could topple over and cause a disaster
25:29Have you ever done this before?
25:31This is completely experimental
25:32Seems like the only option we got
25:34Let's give it a go
25:35See what happens
25:36Alright
25:43So it's called that our line in the sand there, yeah
25:45If it goes south, well, it was nice hoeing you
25:48Yeah, you too, buddy
25:49Alrighty
25:50I'm pulling up the wheels here
25:52So maybe stand back a little bit
25:55It's a little nerve-wracking
25:57As soon as he lifts those gull-wings up
25:59There could be a possibility where it tips completely over
26:02So, we're putting our prayers to the gods right now
26:06Okay, that's off
26:08Other side's also off
26:11Okay, now the exciting part
26:16Oh my god, it's moving so much
26:22I'm raising up the radio stacker now
26:25With the gull-wings off the ground
26:29And these wheels are moving slowly
26:31Which is letting me know that
26:32We are indeed checking our progress
26:40My heart's in my throat right now
26:41Watching this thing move back and forth
26:44Knowing that it could topple over
26:49Got like half an inch
26:54Alright, we got our height
26:55Then I'm going to lower the stacker
26:57Which should increase the distance
27:02That's good
27:04The gull-wings back on the ground here
27:11As for level side to side
27:13You figure we're pretty good
27:16It looks pretty good to me
27:17Okay, yeah, we got the weight back on the stabilizer legs
27:20I can roll these duallys
27:22So I'm just going to go say hi to brother John
27:24And see if we've moved the amount we need to
27:27What did we end up getting, John?
27:30Yeah, three, three and a half
27:33As long as the material doesn't pile up here
27:35It shouldn't get into the belt
27:37It shouldn't **** with stuff up there
27:38Yep
27:39So let's fire up
27:40Great job, guys
27:40Great job
27:41Woo
27:50Rose stacker
27:55Let's get it
28:00Woo
28:05It's looking a lot better for where the material's landing
28:10The plan has helped a lot
28:11Are we winning?
28:13Looks like it's running really good
28:14Nice
28:17We got Big Red running again
28:19Everything's running smooth
28:21And now the main focus is to keep the wash plants running
28:24And hit our 10,000-ounce goal
28:39It looks like a mess, huh?
28:42That's a lot of water, isn't it?
28:44Yeah, that doesn't look funny at all
28:45You can't **** with this water and that kind of mud
28:49Determined to reach 10,000 ounces this week
28:52Tony is racing to get down to Pei
28:55In an extension to the early bird cut
28:59But his stripping crew have hit groundwater
29:01Flooding the cut and making it unminable
29:07Well, do we pump it or that's it?
29:10Well, why don't we do both?
29:12Make it this, put it in the culvert, put it in the pump
29:14Get the water down in the old ponds
29:17Get it over it
29:19Last thing, get the new guy over it
29:22Hey, Sean, do you copy? Sean, do you copy?
29:24Can you get over it, please?
29:26Okay
29:26We need to do some ditching over there
29:28So get over it, would you?
29:30Let's clean this **** up
29:33To drain the flooded cut
29:35Tony will dig a ditch through the road
29:38Which lies between his new extension
29:41And an already mined out section of the early bird cut
29:46Then install a culvert and pump
29:48That will drain flood water from the new cut
29:51Into the old cut
29:54Finally, rebuild the road
29:56And get his plan to hit Paydirt by the end of the week
29:59Back on track
30:03So what are man Sean doing here now?
30:06It's just a little bit of water maintenance that we got going on over here
30:09You know how new guys are
30:11You gotta test them out
30:14He looks to be doing just fine to me
30:18It's my first day working for Tony Beats
30:21Out in the Yukon
30:22And very first time ever gold mining
30:26Still a bit nervous, but we're getting there
30:29You don't have tough skin
30:30You're not ready for this industry
30:39Sean Sean Sean Sean
30:41Stop
30:43Look at me
30:46Shut her down for a minute
30:50Holy **** what a mess
30:54Full of dirt
30:56You gotta be careful digging it out of here
30:58You don't rip your electrical apart
31:01It's not good
31:04Sean you just leave this here
31:05Go get that 349
31:07And you can just keep ditching with that
31:09And then we can get this machine fixed
31:11Sounds good
31:16Operator error right there
31:17You should have been able to see it in the mirror here
31:21Idiot
31:22Every minute of downtime is no good
31:24Because it all equates to lost gold
31:29This is going to drop
31:34There she goes
31:38Sean's in the 349
31:40Hopefully he doesn't that up at all
31:42Here's Tony
31:48What's that panel do you hear it on the back?
31:50That panel's off to 700
31:59I'll get out and talk to you
32:03So that panel's off to 700
32:06Who is that?
32:07Sean guy
32:08The new one?
32:09Yeah
32:09But you should go home for a day for that one?
32:12Yeah
32:12Make your life easier
32:14Yes, sir
32:15Beep beep
32:19After sending rookie operator Sean home
32:22Tony takes over in the 349
32:26To finish the ditch and install the culvert
32:29I send the operator home for the day
32:31Because the same story as always
32:35If you want to come right
32:36I guess you have to do it yourself
32:40I don't know
32:41So let's grab the culvert
32:43Let's grab the culvert
32:44We don't have enough time left this season
32:47To f*** around
32:48So we got to get going
32:53I think that would be must have it
32:59That'd be good enough
33:00To f*** around there for whatever
33:02But
33:03I just don't happen to feel like it
33:07You want me to grab that bomb?
33:09Yes, please
33:10Okay
33:10Because they're running around in the food and water down there
33:16In just 90 minutes
33:19Tony has got his new cut drying out
33:22And he's back in the chase
33:23To catch Parker
33:31Looks pretty damn good
33:32That looks to me that there's going to be plenty of pay to keep on going
33:53It's definitely a big race here
33:54Trying to get down to that pay as quick as we can
33:56Keep that plant running
33:59When the plant shuts down, you know, completely freeze
34:02And we won't be able to fire up the plant again
34:04Rick and his crew are battling to hit pay in their new cut
34:08A last chance
34:09Before the stockpile from Vegas Valley runs out
34:12And they are forced to shut down Monster Red
34:15Yeah, looks like we got a scoop or two left here
34:19It's not good
34:22The pay pile is dwindling pretty quick here
34:25I don't even know if it's a pile anymore
34:29Bailey, you got a copy?
34:32Go ahead for Bailey
34:34Hey, we're almost, uh, we're getting pretty low on pay here
34:38You got any kind of time frame?
34:39What do you think you're going to get any up to the plant?
34:43Well, I don't know how low it is
34:44But, uh, it's going to be a couple of days on my end
34:47Before I can send anything
34:51We don't got a couple days left up here
34:53We'll end up having to shut it down
34:56Yes, that's it, you know
34:57Nothing that we can do here
35:03Here we go, last bucket of pay
35:06Going to the plant now
35:16That's it, that's all we got
35:27Shut it down now, there's nothing else to run
35:31Shut it down today and hopefully it's not for the last time this season
35:35If freezing winter temperatures arrive before they hit pay in the last chance
35:41Monster Red will be too frozen to fire up
35:44Putting even more pressure on this week's Goldway
35:50It's always impossible to tell just when we're pulling mats how good it's going to be
35:54We need it to be great
35:56So fingers crossed we
35:58We can find greatness to save this season
36:03Well, Bailey's still a couple days away from pay
36:05If the weather decides to change and freeze up
36:07We're going to be in trouble
36:10We get a couple more good cleanups and we're set
36:13I mean, the gold is really good right now
36:14We'll hit 1800 to get out of here with these guys getting what they earned
36:18And us coming back next year
36:21Hopefully we get a few more good days and we get to run again
36:24But who knows
36:42Oh, hi!
36:43Hey, Rick Bubba here, Rick
36:46Holy Rick, that looks like a lot of gold
36:48Yeah, so that's the last of the gold from Vegas Valley though
36:52It's a shame we don't have any more to put
36:54That's where we're at
36:56It'd be easy to go home but, you know, we'd be f***ing next year
36:59Your bonuses and the future of this company
37:01That's basically what we're fighting for right now
37:03Alright, let's weigh some gold
37:06Let's do it
37:08Last week, Rick and his crew pulled 430 ounces of gold
37:13Their biggest haul ever
37:15But they are still more than 700 ounces short of the 1800
37:21Rick needs to pay their bonus and secure his mining future
37:26Ready?
37:28Well, 200
37:30Yeah!
37:32And, we'll see what we add to that
37:35Here she comes
37:36Ready?
37:37Okay
37:4110, 20, 30, 35, 50, 58, 59, 69, 80, 90, 97, 98, 102.27
37:55Nice
37:56Nice
37:57Awesome
37:58302.27
37:59302.27
38:00Yep
38:01Nice
38:02Nice f***ing number
38:03Sweet
38:04Worth?
38:051,148,000 dollars
38:09So, what's that?
38:10That puts us at?
38:111,379.65
38:13Making up ground quick
38:14Yeah
38:16Rick needs 420 more ounces to hit 1,800 and send everyone home with gold
38:24But, he still hasn't hit pay in the last chance cut
38:28I mean, weather's changing
38:30We're down right now, not running
38:31You shut it down, you might never start it back up
38:34Next week, this could be snow
38:36What's the challenges at the end of the year, man?
38:38Oh, yeah
38:38Honestly, all we need is a little luck with the weather
38:40Because I know you can get to the bottom of that cut
38:41I know we can get that pay run
38:43Yeah
38:43We just need a bit of time
38:45Well, I say we, cheers to Bailey
38:47Oh, yeah
38:52It's all on you
38:53Thanks, guys
38:53Thanks, guys
38:57Well, that's another good gold way
38:58I mean, when we get the plant running, we make up ground quick
39:01You know, it's good ground
39:02We just have to fight hard to get to it
39:04And right now, it's all in the last chance cut
39:20Hello
39:21Hi
39:22Hello
39:24Hi
39:25How are you guys?
39:26Nice coffee cup
39:27That's a huge-sized coffee cup
39:31The corner cut's getting pretty big, but it's looking like a little empty
39:34Yeah, it does
39:36We are, uh, scratching the last bit out of it
39:39We still got some pay left in the early bird cut
39:42I would really love to take that out there, too, but
39:45With the price of gold right now, okay, we're pretty silly to quit
39:49How's things going on the hill?
39:50Harold literally is, like, no headache
39:53When I go through that thing, it's just like, you lift up the hydraulic riffle
39:57And you just see gold everywhere
39:58Nothing wrong with that
40:00Trauma's been running 24-7
40:01That plant
40:02Just eats, does it?
40:04Eats it
40:04It's called the traum-nom-nom-no
40:08Hey, Monica, should we weigh some gold?
40:10Yes
40:11Who wants to start counting?
40:14I'll count
40:14The Beetz family need more than 700 ounces to reach 10,000
40:20So this is Sluisalot
40:21Okay
40:24Okay, 10, 20
40:26Sluisalot has been running the last of the pay in the corner cut
40:30100, 130, 140, 150, 180, 190
40:37192.42
40:42It's a little bit less than the last time, how come?
40:45I mean, we're getting to the end of the cut
40:47And then we're starting to pick a leftover
40:49I think that'll basically have something to do with it
40:53So this is for find-a-lot
40:54Alright
40:56Find-a-lot has also been churning through the remaining corner cut pay
41:0170, 80, 90, 110, 120, 140, 160, 180, 182
41:14Well, not as good as last week
41:17This one is a little bit lower too
41:18Same stuff, same cut
41:20Right?
41:20Same stuff, same cut
41:21I mean, it's not that we run any more or less
41:24Tony's twin plants at Indian River
41:26Bring his total to just over 9,640 ounces
41:33Well, that was all the Indian River gold, it's time for hill gold
41:37Let's see what Harold's got
41:42Harold has been running pay from the Hester cut
41:4590, 100, 120, 132.6
41:52Less gold is the last time
41:54It might have just ran in the patch
41:56It might have ended up just getting diluted
41:58Because we're running through whatever is there
41:59With three of his wash plants delivering less gold than last week
42:04Tony is still more than 200 ounces short of 10,000
42:12This is from the trommel
42:14Yep
42:19Nice
42:21Alright, Mike, can you see?
42:23Yeah, go for it
42:2810, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, 90
42:34150, 160, 200, 220, 230, 240, 250, 260
42:40280, 290, 3, 310, 330, 340, 350, 370, 380, 390
42:47400, 410, 420, 430
42:55There you go, that's what you do
42:57The Beats family passed 10,000 ounces for the first time ever
43:02With a total of 10,212
43:07Worth over $38,800,000
43:13That's actually pretty good
43:14Yeah, that's a pretty big thing
43:16That's a lot of money
43:18That's a lot of bucks, Mike
43:20They say, that's $2 million bucks on the table
43:23Yeah, I've been running 24-7, man
43:24Yeah, that's pretty awesome
43:27We could do that for a while, couldn't we?
43:31So, we did over 10,000 ounces
43:35We've never done so much in a season
43:3810,000 ounces, that's pretty nice
43:40That doesn't mean we're gonna quit
43:43I think I can beat Parker
43:45Let's go to the bitter end, guys
43:47I mean, it's no use quitting while you're ahead
43:48That's the game, right?
43:51Yeah
43:51Okay, gentlemen, we'll get some more
43:52Okay?
43:54Okay
43:55It's not a bad summer, eh?
44:03What up?
44:05Not saying it was a rough day, but that's our second cup
44:10Parker and his crew have produced more than 9,500 ounces of gold this season
44:17And need just over 430 to hit his 10,000-ounce gold
44:22Man, we've thrown a lot of rocks at those plants this year
44:25It's getting rough out there trying to keep those plants going
44:28We found some big cracks in Roxanne this week
44:31It shows down here when you guys have problems out there
44:35It's a week is what you're saying
44:39If we don't hit our 10,000-ounce gold, it's because the plant breakdowns
44:44I know you guys are putting a lot of dirt through them
44:47So there is gonna be wear and tear
44:48Just gotta keep them going
44:50We're running out of time
44:52We're running out of time real quick
44:53Yeah, it's starting to get pretty cold, huh?
44:55Yeah
44:56This I think would be the key week
44:59If we don't get some good numbers
45:01So we can throw some gold on the scale and see how we did
45:05Yeah, let's do it
45:06All right
45:07We got the bridge cut
45:10Here we go
45:14Wash plant Bob has been averaging 147 ounces a week in the bridge cut
45:21120, 127.35
45:25Not bad
45:26Okay, Mitchell
45:28Let's see what Roxanne can add to it
45:30We got 40
45:32Roxanne has been sluicing pay from pit 2 at Parker's Indian River claim
45:38Come on, keep going
45:39120
45:42133.9
45:44Nice
45:45There you go
45:46So what are we looking for here?
45:48We need a little over, what, 200 to hit our target?
45:51200, yeah
45:52Yeah
45:53So this is the golden mile
45:55We got a couple of them here
45:56Ready?
45:57Yeah
45:57See how Goose and Big Red did
46:00Got 40
46:0280
46:03120
46:05130
46:05140
46:06Don't slow down, doom it
46:10There we go, 200
46:12Sick
46:13220
46:14250
46:15258.15
46:17Yeah
46:18There we go
46:18Woo
46:19That's awesome
46:21Good job guys
46:24For the first time ever, Parker has hit 10,000 ounces in a season worth an incredible $38,341,000
46:38Good job, Todd
46:39Thank you
46:40Thank you
46:41One more
46:42I was rinsing the tank from the golden goose
46:44I found the weirdest thing
46:48The goose laid its first egg, you guys
46:51Exactly one ounce
46:53There you go
46:55We got our golden egg
46:57For 259.15
47:00That's cool, that's actually hilarious
47:02Last week we had 627.25 ounces
47:09This week 520.4 for a season total of 10,089.85 ounces
47:20Sick
47:21Nice
47:21We did it
47:22Good job guys
47:23And, you know, we've got a little bit of time left in the season
47:27So, I think we should just keep Sleusen
47:30And, you know, we had a 10,000 ounce goal last year too and didn't hit it
47:35So, let's make up for a little lost time
47:37Keep at her
47:38But, thank you guys
47:39Yeah
47:40Thank you, man
47:41With just one week to go, Parker now trails Tony by 120 ounces
47:48I do like smashing through goals and it's a very cool milestone for us
47:54So, we'll just, we'll keep going and see what happens
