00:02A march uniting generations of soldiers, veterans and their loved ones.
00:09Crowds lined Adelaide's King William Street, the warm weather helping attract an impressive turnout.
00:15I estimated that there's more than 10,000 people watching and I think that we probably had close to 3
00:20,000 marching.
00:21It was huge, great weather for it, but gee, it was great to see the community come out and share
00:27the commemoration.
00:28Commemorating some of the state's oldest surviving veterans who led the procession.
00:33We actually had 14 people who were around about 100 years old who had been veterans of World War II.
00:40They were looked after pretty well early in it.
00:45At its conclusion, a solemn ceremony at the Cross of Sacrifice in Pennington Gardens.
00:51It was great to see. It was a really good outcome and it was a really good way to commemorate
00:57where our veteran community has been.
00:59And after the march, folks headed down here to the Torrance Parade ground for a game of tour.
01:06It was also a chance to catch up for a drink with old mates or meet some new ones.
01:12I've had a great day with old comrades I've never served with but yet they are comrades.
01:17And that's what Anzac Day is about. It really, really is.
01:20A show of mateship and enduring Anzac spirit.
01:24A show of mates, friends, is just a good night.
01:24That's it.
01:25We're out of the same place.
01:26Perhaps as we can start off the spot all the time we can.
01:27We have electricity.
01:27We have a big
01:27A show of mates and the community and the community and the community.
01:28We're all the most on our trip.
