00:16Yeah, and it's being questioned a little bit. I mean, it shouldn't be off of talent. I mean, Jeremiah Love,
00:22I thought the two, when you talk about best football players on the board, the two guys that stood out
00:27were Jeremiah Love and Caleb Downs.
00:28And so to me, it's not a reach at three to take a franchise running back in him. Highest NFL
00:35draft pick at running back since Saquon Barkley. And I think it was, you know, 2018. And when you take
00:42a running back in the top five, it is risky. A lot of the talk isn't about Jeremiah Love.
00:47It's about the team he's going to. And will they be able to block? And will they have enough of
00:52a supporting cast to open up lanes for him? But you're expecting 1,500 yards of production when we take
01:00a guy like that.
01:01I mean, the top 12 running backs in the NFL had 1,200 total yards. But I love the talent.

01:10If you want to generate excitement around a franchise that's struggling, that's what you do. You take a running back
01:15like Jeremiah Love. There was some comparisons to Ashton Gentry and the numbers he had. But Ashton Gentry's numbers will
01:22be better next year because they just got a franchise quarterback. So why not take a guy with that kind
01:26of talent? I love the pick.

01:31Interesting. I, for me, like, like you said, like, I love the player. I was not a fan of the
01:37pick. I just feel like there's so many different positions where you could have definitely gotten better, especially with all
01:43the talent out there. You had Sonny Stiles. You had Arvo Reese. And of course, I'm a little biased, but
01:47I feel like if you go out, you get like an edge.
01:50Like, Arvo Reese, who you know is going to have seven to ten years of really solid football instead of
01:57going with a running back who might not have a lot of tread on his tires, especially whenever his first
02:01couple years are going to kind of, I don't want to say rocky, but you're not going to have, like,
02:05the stellar O-line that you really want to protect him.
02:07So I just, I think that the Arizona Cardinals just have a bunch of other positions where they could have
02:13gotten really better. But yeah, like, of course, like, he's going to generate a lot of buzz in Phoenix, but
02:18I just feel like there were other picks out there that could have been better.
02:22But I understand what they're doing.
02:23Well, and to your point, I mean, there were seven steals. There were seven tackles that got drafted, and you
02:28could have gone safe and taken a Spencer Fano or somebody that you can build that offensive line around.
02:33I was kicking around draft classes yesterday, and it's like, if you think, Jeremiah Love reminds me of, he could
02:41have an impact like Ezekiel Elliott had for the Cowboys.
02:44And Ezekiel Elliott obviously wasn't drafted that high, but he also had a really good offensive line.
02:50But he's that type of player. I mean, Elliott's career was underappreciated in some ways.
02:55I mean, he led, I didn't, I forgot that he led the NFL in rushing twice.
02:58So if you get Jeremiah Love to have that kind of impact in the first five seasons, continue, you know,
03:051,000 yards, 1,000 yards on the ground, 300, 400 yards in the receiving game.
03:11He is an excellent pass blocker. You know, I hope he does well.
03:15But to your point, I mean, with Arizona, new coach, new, you know, kind of front office type deal, they
03:23could definitely have gone offensive line.
03:26And that's what a lot of teams did. I mean, there were two guards taken in the first round. That
03:30rarely happens, too.
