00:00Wow, I didn't get in the college football playoff.

00:02Wow, it's everybody's fault here.

00:04Well, of course, teams are going to be upset because we have an inventational tournament.

00:09We don't have a decided, this is the best 12 teams in the field.

00:12And it was designed that way by college football and whoever runs it because they're stupid.

00:16And we can all admit that where if you leave it up to the public, the public will pick out, trust me,

00:20the best 12, 16, 24 teams out there, and we will get a better playoff than what's instituted now,

00:26which is Joe continually points out rightfully so.

00:28Why are you having a playoff game that sits at 20 and a half when if you inserted the right teams,

00:32we're under a touchdown or maybe even a field goal, if that.

00:35It's just the way it lays out right now.

00:36But the thing I get a kick out of is Notre Dame being upset.

00:40On3 Sports put out a tweet yesterday.

00:42It reads this way.

00:43Notre Dame AD Pete Pavacqua says the Irish were targeted by ACC social media campaigns

00:49pushing Miami over Notre Dame in the college football playoff.

00:52Quote, we were definitely targeted.

00:54We bring tremendous football value to the ACC, and we didn't understand why you go out of your way

00:58to try to damage us in the process.

01:00He's living so far in a glass house, he doesn't even recognize what the heck he's even talking about, Joe.

01:07It's simple.

01:08The ACC football teams don't include Notre Dame.

01:12Just because you play a handful of ACC teams, you're not in the ACC.

01:17You know what been funny he should have said is also like,

01:19I can't even believe USC, who we play every single year,

01:22did not advocate for us nationally to be in the college football playoff.

01:25Everybody sees through that.

01:27Nobody's taking Notre Dame's side now because that's really what they think inside the building.

01:31I can't believe the ACC put one of their members in over us

01:35because we let them play a couple games with us per year.

01:38Stop the madness, Joe.

01:39Listen, every other sport at Notre Dame is involved with the ACC, Dottie, right?

01:48They're all part of a conference.

01:50Except football here.

01:52And now, listen, it has worked for you, right?

01:55You've gotten the benefit of the doubt for how many decades now, right?

01:59Since the Newt Rockne days.

02:01I get it.

02:02But the reality is it didn't work for you this year with this situation here.

02:06And what did you want exactly the ACC to do?

02:11They knew they were in jeopardy of spending all that money and not getting anything back

02:16by not having a team in the postseason because they screwed up.

02:20And you lost to Miami, Donnie.

02:22So what was the choice exactly?

02:24Of course they were going to go, all things being equal, to have Miami there.

02:29Even your so-called slight is absurd.

02:32What damage did you get exactly by the ACC going, hey, you know, if it comes down to head-to-head,

02:40well, you know, Miami could very well be.

02:43I just don't understand this whole outrage about how the ACC has permanently hurt their, like, stop it.

02:50Everybody was expecting you to be in because you're Notre Dame, not because you earned it.
