01:37Hello, everybody.
01:38Welcome to this episode of the Fro Wrestling Podcast.
01:41The audio quality might not be what it normally is.
01:44All of it might be slightly different because I am doing this remote because we have breaking
01:48news from World Wrestling Entertainment that there have been the talent cuts that have
01:53become so almost symptomatic of WrestleMania season, the post WrestleMania season.
01:58And now we have three of the talent cuts for 2026.
02:02They've started.
02:03The heads are rolling.
02:04And we're starting with some, in my opinion, some interesting names.
02:08One, Alba Fire, Secret Harvest, working with Chelsea Green, but previously working with
02:14Isla Dawn.
02:15And with Isla Dawn now being signed to AEW, you have to wonder if her being cut by WWE leads
02:21to a reunion in AEW.
02:23And look, I'm going to be honest with you.
02:24When she was in WWE UK, she was incredible WWE UK Women's Champion.
02:30And I think WWE dropped the ball with her completely when they moved her to the main roster.
02:37Even as a tag team with Isla Dawn, they were much better than they ever were showcased to
02:41be.
02:41I get it.
02:42I think they had a short championship run and things like that.
02:44But both of these talents could have done a whole lot more.
02:47On top of that, Zoe Stark, the one that really, really frustrates me, Zoe Stark, who last year
02:53suffered that gruesome injury when she dove off the top turnbuckle, planted her knee slightly
02:58wrong, blew out her ACL, MCL, and meniscus.
03:02And now finally gets medically cleared.
03:05She was at WrestleMania.
03:06She was at the Hall of Fame ceremony.
03:09She's medically cleared, ready to perform, and she is one of the talent cuts.
03:13And that, to me, is so heartless, careless, and callous of TKO to have a talent who does
03:20all that working so hard to get back.
03:22And keep in mind, that serious of a knee injury, she suffered that injury in May 2025.
03:28So less than one year later, she's medically cleared to come back.
03:32That takes incredible effort.
03:34That takes incredible discipline.
03:35She pulls all that off, and she's now a WWE cut.
03:39And one of the ones that I consider to be either shocking or a look into what things are coming
03:48soon is that Nikki Cross of the Wyatt Six has been released.
03:53Nikki Cross, look, whether it was the superhero version, the simpleton version, she was friendly
04:00with Alexa Bliss, or even this creepier, spooky character with the Wyatt Six, Nikki Cross
04:05is a performer.
04:06She's got the artistic stuff down.
04:08She's got the showmanship stuff down.
04:11She's also an incredible in-ring performer, though she very rarely gets to actually perform.
04:16And then if she's being cut because she's not being used, whose fault is it she's not being
04:20used?
04:20Why is it in the last two years you haven't been able to put her into a program where she
04:25was a singles female star challenging for the world championship as a member of the
04:30Wyatt Six?
04:31Heck, you could have run a storyline where she won the women's championship and virtually never
04:35loses it because the Wyatt Six are always backing her.
04:38They could have been her muscle and she could have played a heel.
04:40You could have reunited her with Alexa Bliss.
04:42Obviously, that storyline is waiting to be done.
04:46And instead, she too is a budget cut today.
04:49Again, another talent that I would not be surprised if AEW scoops up.
04:53More likely I think right now for her would be TNA Wrestling because I think they have a
04:57better place for her.
04:59When it comes to Zoe Stark, she's going to have a pick of the litter.
05:02She is a phenomenal talent.
05:04I really believe Zoe Stark was on a trajectory to be a major, major player in the women's division
05:10right before she got injured.
05:12And unfortunately, she did get to do some cool storylines.
05:15She did have some stuff with Trish Stratus a while back, about a year and a half, almost
05:19two years ago at this point.
05:21She's had moments, great moments.
05:25But I think if I was going to hypothesize for her, her former stablemate being over in TNA,
05:32that might be the next destination for her.
05:34But again, going back to the Nikki Cross thing, the sign of things to come situation
05:39is what about the rest of the members of the Wyatt Six?
05:42Is that just an element of the Wyatt Six they're going to do away with?
05:45Or are they all going to get cut?
05:47Eric Rowan has been cut before.
05:49We've seen other talents in that group let go before.
05:52And I really believe that the reason they brought him back was because of the loss and the passing
05:56of Bray Wyatt, which I completely understand.
05:58But they've, again, after their debut that was absolutely flawless, they've done nothing
06:04with them of substance, nothing important, nothing to get them over with the fans and
06:08instead book them in like a six month long feud with the MFTs with no clear cut winner
06:13till the very, very end.
06:14It was really kind of ridiculous.
06:16And I honestly believe this is another example of them dropping the ball on a talent.
06:21And unfortunately, I don't think this is where it's going to stop.
06:24I think we're going to see several more talents let go.
06:26TKO trying to maximize profits.
06:28They don't care about a lot of the things that Vince McMahon used to care about.
06:32So I would not be surprised to see many, many more cuts coming.
06:35And if you're Tony Khan, you must be licking your lips and licking your chops
06:38just waiting for some of these premium talents to become available.
06:41And maybe TNA as well, MLW, GCW.
06:44There's a lot out there for people nowadays.
06:46Maybe new Japan jumps on some people because they have lost quite a few talents in the last
06:50several years, including evil who was announced earlier today, officially signing with WWE.
06:55So I suspect we'll see him debut very soon.
06:57We've reported that on the podcast before.
06:59So evil coming to WWE opening more opportunity opportunities in new Japan for talent to find
07:05a space.
07:05So we'll have to wait and see.
