00:00I think the Bears felt like there was about a 50-50 chance he'd be on the board.
00:05But let's keep in mind, I think three safeties have gone around one over the last six years.
00:13So it's a spot where teams are really going to be hesitant to pull the trigger on guys at that
00:21position.
00:21And obviously the Cowboys made a move early on, I believe at number 11, even traded up one spot.
00:31They pulled a Ryan Pace and they moved up one spot.
00:36Maybe they actually needed to do that and they'd get Caleb Downs.
00:43But Tienemann, I think it's a really good fit for Dennis Allen.
00:50And they could have drafted any position on defense last night and said, hey, we're upgrading what we're doing on
01:04defense.
01:04If Tienemann is the top-ranked guy on their board at that time at 25, it makes total sense.
01:12Because they literally entered the draft, in my mind, needing an upgrade across the board on defense.
01:23So that works out.
01:25They love the football character.
01:27They love the speed.
01:29They love the tape.
01:31They feel like this is the kind of guy that could be a leader into the future.
01:37So I think it's going to be exciting for Bears fans to kind of get to know him a little
01:43bit.
01:43And he'll be at the facility later on this afternoon.
01:47He's a Midwest guy, which we know is part of Dave's attraction to him as a prospect that checked an
01:53important box for Dave.
01:56But we've got to tip our caps to him for nailing the pick in advance.
02:02Thanks, Brad.
02:02I watched a lot of college football, you know, contrary to what you might think.
02:08But it was, to me, a no-brainer if he fell.
