Step aside, candy bowl—this spooky treat will take center stage on October 31. In this video, Martha Stewart shows you how to make white chocolate ghosts along with tips for softening the chocolate to adhering it to lollipop sticks. White chocolate ghosts are easy to make, visually striking, and delicious as well, making them a perfect treat for the vampires and ghouls that come knocking on Halloween night.

00:00White chocolate ghosts, which are great for Halloween.
00:03We're using one package of white chocolate bits and melting the chocolate, just softening it.
00:07One and a half tablespoons of vegetable oil.
00:10The vegetable oil tends to make the white chocolate easier to work with.
00:15See how it loosens it up? Get those lumps out of it.
00:18Spoon a ghostly shape.
00:20Now, I usually do all of this in this costume, of course.
00:23Place a lollipop stick.
00:24You can put a little bit more chocolate over the lollipop stick, just so it hardens nicely.
00:31And we have some already hardened.
00:34And you can gently extricate your charming ghosts and serve them up to those hungry little hordes who appear at
00:45the door on Halloween night.
