Jeremy and Joe discuss the brutal stretch the Sabres have been on on the man advantage.

00:00I mean, I think that is probably what's on fans' minds the most today.
00:06The power play?
00:07Yeah, I mean, I would bet it's a tie between who's starting game three in net
00:11and what is this power play.
00:130 for, is it over 31 now in April?
00:16It's either 0 for 30 or 0 for 31.
00:190 for 5 last night.
00:20Did they come close?
00:22Tage had a play at the net when he thought he might go between the legs
00:27where he was kind of down on the goal line.
00:30But they just can't get in the zone.
00:33And Paul's asking about Beck Malenstein on the power play in postgame,
00:37which was three hours after I had wondered if Josh Dunn on the power play
00:41should be an idea just because he wins face-offs.
00:44Because all I'm trying to do, they have two problems on the power play to me.
00:48One is face-offs.
00:50Like you mentioned, they were 20 or they were 3-20 at one point last night.
00:54They can't win face-offs, and they can't really enter the zone.
00:58And those two things don't really go well together on the power play
01:02because every face-off you lose, that's one more time you have to enter the zone,
01:07which you're not very good at.
01:09So, I mean, I don't think there are any bad ideas.
01:12I wondered yesterday, like, put Dunn out there.
01:15He's your best face-off guy available and have him run right off the ice.
01:19You want to put Malenstein out there?
01:21They're fine.
01:21Like, I think anything should be up in the air.
01:23But it should be embarrassing that the fourth-liners coming up are even like,
01:28honestly, whatever.
01:30Throw it at the wall.
01:31See if it sticks.
01:32Because I don't know what else they're supposed to do.
01:35I don't know what the answers are.
01:36Just execute better is not going to be the case.
01:38Lindy said that they are going to tweak some things.
01:41So, we'll see what that is.
01:42You know, one thing that doesn't get brought up,
01:44and I haven't thought about all year, really,
01:47is your second-best goal scorer on the team
01:51has not spent any time on the No. 1 power play all year.
01:55Like, all the things you've tried.
01:57You've tried Quinn up there.
01:58You've tried Doan up there.
02:00You've tried Benson up there.
02:01They've really never tried Alex Tuck up there.
02:04And I don't think he is historically a great power play player in his career,
02:08but are any of them?
02:10You try anything at this point.
02:11Who on that top man advantage is historically a good power play guy?
02:14Norris, he had one giant year in Ottawa.
02:18But I've got evidence that says none of those guys are good power play players,
02:22and they're all getting every chance imaginable.
02:24Alex Tuck had 33 goals this year,
02:26and did he only play on the No. 1 unit in the final game of the year?
02:30Like, they never put him up there.
02:32And I don't know what that is.
02:33Maybe he will be the tweak.
02:36Why shouldn't he be?
02:37If he's going to be a $10 million, $12 million player on this team
02:40and he's second-end goals, why is he never on the top unit?
