00:05And those antiques belonging to an old Hollywood legend.
00:09Well, for Nick, it wasn't just a dream.

00:23I knew that they were there. And when my lovely mum died, they were all things that passed on by

00:28And so I knew they were there and I thought it was time to pass them on and help the

00:34I've got two beautiful daughters, two beautiful granddaughters.
00:36And it's now time for someone else to enjoy these lovely bits and pieces and help the kids out if

00:43Douglas Fairbanks Jr starred in classics like The Prisoner of Zender and The Corsican Brothers,
00:49as well as being a decorated naval officer.
00:52But what sorts of treasures did he leave behind for his daughter and grandson to discover?
00:58Now, there are a number of treasures set to go to auction, including this, which is an authentic Cartier clasp.
01:05The bracelet, if it were all here, could be worth up to £200,000.
01:10And yet the clasp alone is estimated to go for between £1,500 and £2,000.
01:16And the all-important question, will Nick strike gold once again?
01:21We can put an estimate on everything, but some things, the thing that you can't put an estimate on is
01:28the provenance and the desirability of that provenance connected with that item.
01:34So, with the Fairbanks property, we've got the Disney steel, amazing, we've got the Cartier clasp, fantastic.
01:43You just don't know what people are going to pay at the end of the day.
01:46But he'll only have to wait until Thursday, when his not-so-hidden gems go under the hammer.
