A deep dive into the granular effects on the Eventide H90. See how to create ambient textures with 'Cosmic Drift' and dynamic, burst-and-glitch-oriented sounds that you can control with your playing.

00:00I didn't expect this from the Eventide H90. It went granular.
00:07We're going to take a look at a couple kind of key sounds that I really like in granular effects.
00:13So let's go ahead and start off with a really big ambient wide style granular delay.
00:30Let's take a look at something a little bit more punctuated and a little bit more kind of burst and
00:36glitch oriented.
00:48By setting this a little bit lower, we can play nice and soft to get straight clean playing.
00:57And when we dig in a little bit harder,
00:59we get some of those granular effects popping out at us only when we want them.
01:09So we're already starting to get a more reactive version of the granular effect by just changing
01:14over into an envelope based system that gives us control over when we want the effect to show up.
