00:00One box turned my entire amp collection into my recording rig.
00:07This is the Warm Audio Reamper. Today we're going to look at four different ways to use it.
00:13I have my early 90s Matchless C30. These are legendary amps. They're known for incredible
00:19tones but they're also known for being really loud. That's where the reamper comes in. It
00:25essentially acts as a hub, a centerpiece to get these cranked amp tones into my audio interface,
00:31into my DAW. All of that natural overdrive, the rich harmonics and compression, the tube feel,
00:40I'm able to capture all of that silently and not worry about the volume. Let's talk about using the
00:46reamper to re-amp a DI guitar signal. What's happening here is that I'm coming out of my
00:54audio interface into the reamper and then from the reamper into that tube combo.
01:00That's mic'd up and then goes back into my audio interface. Here's what the DI line sounds like.
01:09Through the reamper into a tube amp combo.
01:15Right now we're going to take a look at using the reamper to add
01:18instrument level effects onto non-guitar sources.
01:39Obviously this opens up almost infinite possibilities of being able to tweak your tones
01:45and get different new interesting types of sounds on any instrument. Let's take a look at using the
01:50reamper to integrate line level studio effects directly into your guitar chain.
02:03As you can hear, the reamper allows me to integrate that legendary 1176 compression right into my guitar
02:10signal path. It is integrated right into that guitar signal path. So if I wanted to put something before
02:16the unit or after the unit, I'm able to do that.
