00:00Pantry staples, plus maybe one or two items you need to buy,
00:03and you've got the most delicious homemade ranch.
00:05We're gonna start with a base of mayonnaise.
00:07I like to add in a little sour cream.
00:09Then you start adding in your dried herbs and spices.
00:13Onion powder, garlic powder, parsley, chives, and dill.
00:15And then simply salt and pepper.
00:17So these are the ingredients,
00:18and then you can adjust to your taste.
00:20If you wanna do all your dried herbs,
00:22but you want to kind of give them a boost of freshness,
00:25my suggestion would be to pick one of those herbs
00:27and add them in fresh.
00:29Parsley is always good
00:30because it doesn't really change the flavor,
00:32but it just kind of adds a little fresh note.
00:34Now time to make it more pourable.
00:37What I like to do is add some fresh lemon juice.
00:40For the most authentic flavor, you can add in some buttermilk.
00:43This might be something you have to buy,
00:44but you could always make buttermilk
00:46with just regular milk and a little vinegar or lemon juice.
00:49No disodium phosphate in here.
00:51Pantry staples, plus maybe one or two items you need to buy,
00:54and you've got the most delicious homemade ranch.
00:56My kids love dipping their chicken fingers and fries in ranch.
01:02Mm.
01:03And then the classic, most classic salad.
01:05That is the most familiar taste ever.
