00:00The leading commander of the Quraysh, Khalid ibn Walid.
00:02The genius of the Quraysh, Amr ibn Ras.
00:05And the keeper of the key to the Ka'bah, Osman ibn Talha.
00:09All three had set out from different places,
00:11but their paths crossed in a region called Hadda.
00:15They all had one thing in common, their hatred towards Islam.
00:19Remember Khalid ibn Walid.
00:20At Uhud, where Hamza and Musab ibn Umair were martyred,
00:24he was the main person responsible for the defeat of the Muslim army.
00:27He commanded the armies of the idolaters against the Muslims.
00:31Remember Amr ibn Ras.
00:33When the companions migrated to Abyssinia,
00:35he was the one who chased after them
00:37and did everything he could to bring them back.
00:40He would use his political genius against the Muslims.
00:43He would say,
00:44Even if all the Quraysh became Muslim, I don't think I ever would.
00:48As for Osman ibn Talha, he had lost his father, his uncle,
00:52and four brothers one after the other at the Battle of Uhud.
00:55They were fighting on the side of the Quraysh.
00:57And now, a long time had passed.
01:00Their thoughts and feelings had dramatically changed,
01:03and their characters had matured.
01:11This video series is based on hundreds of references from reliable Islamic sources.
01:16All AI visuals were prepared in consultation with qualified Muslim scholars,
01:21and are in line with Islamic guidelines.
01:23All the events that they had lived through had exhausted them.
01:27Khalid and Osman had arranged in Mecca to meet here,
01:30but Amr didn't know about either of them.
01:33Allah made their paths cross here.
01:35So, what was the purpose of their journey?
01:38Amr asked,
01:39Where are you going O Khalid?
01:40O Amr!
01:42The right path has now become absolutely clear.
01:45I have no doubt that Muhammad is a prophet.
01:48In my opinion, there is no point in wasting any more time.
01:53I am going to Medina to become Muslim.
01:56Amr breathed a sign of relief, because his intention was also the same.
02:01He said,
02:02By Allah, I am on this road for the very same purpose.
02:09All three of them were on their way to meet the Prophet ,
02:12having left all their bad intentions behind,
02:15feeling deep regret and shame for what they had done in the past.
02:19When the Prophet saw them from a distance,
02:22he smiled and said to those around him,
02:25Mecca has sent you its most precious ones.
02:27They quickly entered the presence of Rasulullah .
02:31Just think about it.
02:33Until that time, they had done great harm to the Muslims.
02:37Yet, the Messenger of Allah did not question them.
02:39Nor did he remind them of the past.
02:41This was his noble character.
02:43If the person in front of him was regretful,
02:46he would never throw their mistakes in their face.
02:48All he wanted was for them to save their eternal lives.
02:52First, Khalid extended his hand and said,
02:55I bear witness that there is no God but Allah,
02:58and that you are the Messenger of Allah.
03:00He was ashamed.
03:02Oh Messenger of Allah,
03:03I fought in battles against you.
03:06You know that.
03:06I ask you to pray to Allah to forgive my sins in this regard.
03:10The Prophet's words would bring relief to Khalid's heart.
03:14After all, which of his words wouldn't?
03:16He said,
03:17Oh Khalid,
03:18Islam wipes away all the sins committed before it.
03:21Then he raised his hands and made this dua.
03:24Oh Allah,
03:25forgive Khalid for all the efforts he made to turn your servants away from your path.
03:30Khalid felt a huge weight lifted off his shoulders.
03:34From that moment on,
03:35he would use his strength and military genius for the glory and the spread of Islam.
03:40Because of the bravery he would show on this path,
03:43the Prophet would call him Sayfullah,
03:45meaning the sword of Allah.
03:48Then, Amr ibn al-Nas extended his hand and asked for the same things as Khalid.
03:53The Prophet made the same dua for Amr as well.
03:57He finally found the peace he had been seeking for years.
04:01Later, the Prophet would appoint him to lead the Muslim army in many battles,
04:05and Allah would grant many victories through him.
04:08The genius of the Quraysh would now serve Islam,
04:11and his greatest victory would be the conquest of Egypt.
04:15Allah would bring Islam to those lands through him.
04:18For this reason,
04:19he would be remembered as the conqueror of Egypt.
04:22Finally,
04:23Osman ibn Talha extended his hand,
04:25and he too became Muslim.
04:27And so,
04:28three important figures joined the ranks of Islam on the same day in front of Rasulullah.
04:36Remember what Allah said in Surat Al-Fatih?
04:38Allah knew what you did not know.
04:41The treaty of Hudaybiyyah had lowered the weapons of hatred against Islam,
04:45and had broken down the walls in people's hearts.
04:48Our Prophet had said,
04:50The Mushrikun have accepted that you may go to Mecca and take care of your needs,
04:54and that you will be safe while coming and going.
04:56In this way, they will see and learn Islam from you.
05:00Allah will make you victorious over them,
05:02and bring you back from there, safe and with rewards.
05:05This is the greatest of conquests.
05:07And that's exactly what happened.
05:10Nineteen years had passed between the beginning of Prophethood and the Treaty of Hudaybiyyah.
05:15Then after Hudaybiyyah, only one more year went by.
05:18And remarkably, in that one year,
05:20more people embraced Islam than in the previous 19 years combined.
05:25That's why the Qur'an called Hudaybiyyah Fatham Mubina,
05:28a clear victory, even though it looked like a defeat at first.
05:32With the conquest of Khaybar,
05:33the conflict with the Jewish tribes was brought to an end.
05:36With Hudaybiyyah, a spiritual victory had been achieved,
05:40and the Muslims had shown their strength to the nearby Arab tribes.
05:44However, the most fundamental problem still remained unsolved.
05:48The Ka'bah had been built for the sole purpose of worshipping Allah alone.
05:52But now, its inside and its surroundings were filled with idols.
05:56All kinds of shameful acts and sins were being committed around it.
06:00In such a state, how could that place still be the symbol of Tawheed?
06:04This problem must be solved.
06:07The Ka'bah had to belong to Islam, and the idols around it had to be removed.
06:12But how?
06:13A ten-year peace treaty had been made with the people of Mecca.
06:16But Allah is Musabibul Asbab,
06:19the one who creates and controls causes as he wills,
06:22and helps his servants by bringing the necessary means together.
06:25And now, the time was drawing near for the duas made for the Ka'bah's liberation to be answered.
06:32Not long after this, Allah created a cause for this.
06:36It would be the Quraysh themselves who would break the treaty.
06:38A delegation from the tribe of Huzaa, who were allies of the Prophet ,
06:43suddenly arrived in Medina.
06:45According to a term in the Treaty of Hudaybiyyah,
06:47other Arab tribes were free to make an alliance with whichever side they wished.
06:52And Huzaa had chosen to side with the Prophet and the Muslims.
06:56The head of the delegation, Amr, was deeply saddened.
06:59He explained why they had come.
07:01O Messenger of Allah, Turaish did not keep their promise.
07:05They broke the strongest agreement they had made with you.
07:09One night, they suddenly attacked us.
07:13They caught us off guard and killed our people,
07:17while some were in Ruku and some were in Sujood.
07:20Help us.
07:21And so, the Treaty of Hudaybiyyah was openly broken.
07:26The Quraysh sent Ibu Sufyan to Medina to speak with the Messenger of Allah.
07:29Ibu Sufyan first went to the Prophet and asked for the treaty to be renewed.
07:35However, he did not receive any response from Masulullah .
07:39Then he went to Abu Bakr , hoping that their family ties might help him find a solution.
07:44But this attempt was also in vain.
07:47This time, he went to Omar and pleaded.
07:50Try to renew the treaty. Make peace between us.
07:54Omar replied in anger.
07:56So you broke the treaty, did you?
07:57If there is anything left of it, may Allah destroy it as soon as possible.
08:02I will never go to the Messenger of Allah to intercede on your behalf.
08:05By Allah, even if I could find nothing but a small ant, I would still fight you with it.
08:10Abu Sufyan left him and went straight to Osman .
08:14But the result was the same again.
08:16As a last hope, he went to Ali .
08:19But he couldn't find any support from him either.
08:22Have you noticed?
08:24Hudaybiya did not bring even the slightest benefit to the Quraysh.
08:27Yet, they had been so confident.
08:30In the end, it only made things easier for the Muslims.
08:33Having fewer enemies made it easier for them to focus on other threats.
08:37In the meantime, it also served the goal of slowly turning Mecca into a land of Islam.
08:43And once all these purposes had been fulfilled, Allah willed the treaty to be broken.
08:48This is how Allah grants ease to those who struggle in his path.
08:52At the most unexpected times, from the most unexpected places, and in the most unexpected ways.
08:58People often see such events as something evil.
09:01But from the perspective of Qadr, there is so much wisdom hidden behind them.
09:06Do you remember these words?
09:07By Allah, you are the best of Allah's lands and the most beloved to me.
09:12By Allah, if I had not been expelled from you, I would never have left.
09:17These were the words the Messenger of Allah said as he turned back to look at Mecca one last time
09:23before the Hijrah.
09:24Every mountain and stone in Mecca had witnessed those words.
09:28And now, eight years had passed since that farewell.
09:32Mecca had been waiting for the day when it would finally reunite with the Messenger of Allah and his companions.
09:39Longing for them as it had never longed for anyone before.
09:43And finally, that blessed day was drawing near.
09:47Mecca would be liberated.
09:49The years of longing would come to an end.
09:51And the Muslims of Mecca would return to their homes.
09:55The Prophet immediately began preparing for a major expedition.
09:59But he did not tell anyone where they were going.
10:03Keeping it secret was of the utmost importance.
10:06If the Mushrikun of Mecca were caught unprepared, the city could be taken without bloodshed.
10:11And a great victory could be achieved.
10:13His desire was to enter this blessed city without any fighting at all.
10:18For this reason, he carried out all preparations with great care and in complete secrecy.
10:24When everything was ready, a massive army of 10,000 men stood before the Messenger of Allah waiting for his
10:32command.
10:33This was the largest army the Muslims had ever gathered until that day.
10:37They were now ready to march.
10:40The most sincere prayers were on their tongues and in their hearts.
10:43The time had come to face the people who had tortured them for 21 years and had taken away their
10:50homes and wealth.
10:52They were the ones who had treated the Messenger of Allah with all kinds of cruelty for so many years.
10:59So what would they do on that day?
11:01And more importantly, how would the Messenger of Allah treat them in return?
11:06Many emotional scenes that will make us love and admire the Prophet even more are waiting for us in this
11:13very next part of this episode.
11:15It was the month of Ramadan and Rasulullah was making this dua.
11:19Oh Allah, hold back the spies and scouts of Quraysh until we suddenly appear in their land.
11:25Since they started their journey, he had been keeping the destination a secret.
11:29His intention was to take Mecca by surprise.
11:32He wanted a victory without a battle.
11:36But despite all the efforts to maintain secrecy, someone carrying the news had already set out.
11:42A woman from the tribe of Muzayna was on her way to Mecca.
11:46Just when it looked like Rasulullah's whole plan was about to be ruined, he was informed of this through revelation.
11:52He immediately called Ali, Zubayr ibn al-Awwam and Muqtad ibn al-Aswad and commanded,
11:58Go quickly until you reach the Garden of Hah.
12:01There you will find a woman on a camel.
12:03She has a letter. Take it from her.
12:06The three companions hurried to the Garden of Hah and found the woman there.
12:10They asked her,
12:11Where's the letter you're carrying?
12:13I don't have any letter.
12:15Ali knew that she was lying.
12:17So he said,
12:18The Messenger of Allah never lies.
12:20He then warned her firmly to give them the letter and threatened to search her if she didn't.
12:26Finally, the woman took out the letter she had hidden in her braided hair.
12:30The letter was sent by one of the companions, Hatib ibn al-Bal-Tal.
12:34He was a muhajir who had fought in the Battle of Badr and had also been sent as an envoy
12:39to the ruler of Egypt, Muqawqis.
12:41The companions were shocked. They could not make sense of it.
12:45The Prophet called for Hatib and asked him why he had written the letter.
12:50Hatib's family was in Mecca and because he was not from the Quraysh, he had no one there to protect
12:55them.
12:56He wanted to do the Quraysh a favor so that when Mecca was surrounded, they would not harm his family.
13:01He explained the situation and said,
13:03I did not do this because I left my religion or I accepted disbelief after Islam.
13:08By Allah, I am firming my faith in Allah and His Messenger.
13:13After listening to him, Rasulullah turned to his companions and said,
13:17Hatib has told you the truth, so do not say anything but good about him.
13:21And he forgave him.
13:23Time passed. The expedition was still kept completely secret and they continued to move forward.
13:30The people of Mecca had not heard even the slightest news.
13:34Finally, the army set up camp at a place called Maru Zehran.
13:38It was night. A deep darkness covered the valley.
13:42The only sound was the whistling of the wind.
13:45Then suddenly, fires were lit everywhere.
13:48The Messenger of Allah wanted to show the army's arrival to the Meccans through these fires.
13:53The light of Islam, which they had tried so hard to extinguish, had now surrounded Mecca completely.
14:00They had waited for this religion to weaken and the believers to decrease.
14:04They had tried everything they could for years, but all their efforts had failed.
14:10What a majestic sight this was.
14:13The Messenger of Allah specifically ordered the companions to light far more fires than necessary.
14:18This way, the army would seem much larger and the Mushrikun would lose their courage completely.
14:25But what was happening in Mecca?
14:27When they saw the scene, they were frozen in terror.
14:31They looked at one another with fear and worry.
14:34No one could understand what was going on.
14:36But one thing was clear.
14:38This night was the beginning of a great change.
14:41Abu Sufyan set out in the darkness of the night.
14:44He wanted to find out what was happening.
14:46Together with his two friends, he was going to look around, secretly gather information and then return.
14:53He didn't want to be noticed.
14:55But is it possible to hide from Allah who sees everything?
14:59The Prophet informed his companions.
15:02He told them to stay alert and said that they would certainly come across Abu Sufyan.
15:06And that is exactly what happened.
15:08Abbas noticed Abu Sufyan and immediately took him under his protection.
15:13He placed him on his mule behind him and took him to the Messenger of Allah .
15:18When Abu Sufyan's two friends were also brought into the tent,
15:22Rasulullah asked them about the situation in Mecca.
15:25They stayed in the tent until very late at night.
15:28Rasulullah invited them to Islam.
15:31And right there, both of Abu Sufyan's friends took jahada.
15:34But Abu Sufyan was still not sure.
15:37He asked for some time to think.
15:40Then they all were taken to their tents.
15:43Abu Sufyan was going to see the Messenger of Allah again in the morning.
15:46What would happen tomorrow?
15:48What would change?
15:49The companions had one question on their minds.
15:52Would Abu Sufyan finally embrace Islam?
15:55For now, no one knew the answer.
15:58When morning came, Abbas brought Abu Sufyan to the Prophet .
16:02The Messenger of Allah looked him straight in the eye and asked,
16:05Oh Abu Sufyan, hasn't the time come for you to say La ilaha illa Allah?
16:10Abu Sufyan replied,
16:11But what am I supposed to do with all these idols?
16:13How can I give up Laat and Uzzah?
16:16Umar was waiting behind the tent.
16:18When he heard this, he became furious and said,
16:20Be graceful that you are inside the tent.
16:23If you are outside, he would never be able to say these words.
16:27Abu Sufyan replied,
16:29Oh Umar, shame on you.
16:32You are as harsh as your father.
16:34And besides, oh son of Khattab, I didn't come for you.
16:37I came for my cousin.
16:38I will speak to him.
16:39So let us talk.
16:41Then he turned to the Messenger of Allah and said,
16:44May my mother and father be sacrificed for you.
16:48In your calmness and gentleness, in your generosity and nobility,
16:52and in how you care for your family ties,
16:56there is no one better than you.
16:59Then he fell silent for a while, thinking deeply.
17:03Finally, he could not help but confess and said,
17:07By Allah, I think there is no God except Allah.
17:10Because if there really were another God besides Allah,
17:13He would have helped me, protected me from harm,
17:17and brought me some benefit.
17:21The conversation went on for a while.
17:23Then finally, Abu Sufyan recited the Shahada and became Muslim.
17:28At that moment, he turned a new page in his life.
17:31A completely new era had begun for him.
17:34However, he was over 60 years old.
17:37So it would surely take time for faith to take root in his heart.
17:41The Messenger of Allah then turned to Abbas and said,
17:44Oh Abbas, take Abu Sufyan to the narrow part of the valley,
17:47to the mountain pass where the horses are packed close together,
17:51so that he can see the greatness of Allah's army.
17:54This was actually a precaution.
17:56If Abu Sufyan went straight back to Mecca,
17:59the Mushrikun might change his mind.
18:01But when he saw the size of the army,
18:03he would understand how helpless Quraysh really was.
18:06He would then tell the idolaters that resisting such a force would be pointless,
18:11and would discourage them from fighting back.
18:14Abbas carried out Rasulullah's order,
18:16and Abu Sufyan watched the Muslim army in amazement.
18:20He said,
18:21Oh Abbas, until today, I have never seen an army or a people like this.
18:28Then he quickly set out to warn the Mushrikun.
18:31He called out,
18:32Oh people of Quraysh,
18:34Muhammad is here.
18:35He has come right to your door,
18:37with an army so great that you cannot stand against it.
18:40Then he shouted as loudly as he could.
18:42Whoever enters the house of Abu Sufyan is safe.
18:46Whoever goes into his own house and closes the door is safe.
18:49Whoever takes refuge in al-Masjid al-Haram is safe.
18:55Many of the Mushrikun could not hold back their anger.
18:58Even Abu Sufyan's wife Hind started insulting him.
19:02Ikrima, the son of Abu Jahl, and Safman ibn Umayyah tried to provoke the people,
19:07but no one paid any attention to them.
19:10Everyone scattered to find refuge.
19:13The Messenger of Allah had divided the army into five main divisions,
19:17and he gave the commander of each division the same clear order.
19:21Do not fight anyone unless you are resisted or attacked.
19:25Finally, the long-awaited moment had arrived.
19:28After years of separation, the Muslim army was entering Mecca.
19:41The Messenger of Allah was on his camp al-Qaswar,
19:44with his head bowed in deep humility.
19:47He lowered his blessed head so much that
19:49his forehead was almost touching the back of his camel.
19:53He knew that this victory belonged to Allah,
19:55and he was declaring this to everyone.
19:58Just as in every moment of his life,
20:01he set the most beautiful example in this moment too.
20:04He was entering Mecca with majesty and dignity.
20:07On the one hand, he was thanking and praising Allah,
20:10and on the other, he was reciting Surat al-Fatih,
20:13the surah that gave the good names of this conquest.
20:17Faces were smiling and hearts were finding peace.
20:20Mecca was finally becoming a land of Islam.
20:23The longing was now over.
20:26The injustice, the insults, and the oppression the Muslims had suffered were left behind.
20:30Now, the victorious side was the Muslims.
20:35Rasulullah was making his way through the streets of Mecca.
20:38Every street, every corner was full of memories.
20:42At one place, he remembered the mocking looks of people.
20:46At another, it was as if their insults and hurtful words were still echoing in his ears.
20:51Some had even called him terrible names to his face.
20:54Liar, insane, magician, ma'azallah.
20:58They had thrown camel intestines onto his back.
21:01He had endured a three-year boycott and hunger.
21:04For years, he had kept calling the same people to Islam.
21:08People who had rejected him again and again.
21:11Every street was full of memories.
21:14They had forced him to leave his own city.
21:19But now, how could he return with such an army?
21:22How had he conquered the hearts of so many people?
21:26He moved forward and forward.
21:28And then, there it was.
21:30The Kaaba stood before them in all its majesty.
21:34The Prophet was reciting the takbir.
21:37And with one voice, all the Muslims shouted,
21:40Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, making Mecca tremble.
21:45Remember the day when Islam was first announced openly in Mecca?
21:48The takbirs of the 40 Muslims in Dar al-Arqam were like a seed.
21:52And that seed had sprouted and grown.
21:55And now, it was echoing as the takbirs of 10,000 people.
22:05But there was something painful to see.
22:08The Kaaba was surrounded by 360 idols.
22:11With the staff in his hand, the Prophet began to touch those idols one by one.
22:18Reciting this ayah.
22:20Astagfirullah.
22:21The Kaaba was born and damaged by the Kaaba.
22:26The Prophet told him in the Kaaba the truth has come and falsehood has vanished.
22:29Indeed, falsehood is bound to vanish.
22:32Every idol he touched fell to the ground.
22:35The Quraysh had even placed idols inside the Ka'bah, but now not a single idol was
22:40left standing.
22:43It was time for the zuhur prayer.
22:45At the command of the Prophet , Bilal climbed onto the roof of the Ka'bah
22:54and began to give the adhan.
22:56The same Bilal they had dragged through the streets with a rope around his neck, the one
23:01they tortured to make him give up his faith and looked down on as a slave, was now standing
23:06on the Ka'bah, calling out the adhan with a powerful voice.
23:40Declaring the victory of Islam, his voice was spreading across all of Mecca.
23:44The hateful Mushrikun hiding in their homes were devastated.

24:39At that moment, some of the leaders of Quraysh, Abu Sufyan, Attab ibn Asid and Haras ibn
24:45Hisham were talking among themselves.
24:47Attab complained.
24:49How lucky my father Asid is.
24:51Allah has honored him by not letting him see this day.
24:56Could Muhammad not find anyone else for the call to prayer other than this man?
25:01Then Abu Sufyan said,
25:03I'm afraid to say anything, even if no one else hears us.
25:06The sand and stones under our feet will tell him, and he will find out.
25:10A short while later, they saw the Messenger of Allah.
25:14They had no idea what they were about to witness.
25:18Rasulullah told them exactly what they had said to each other word for word.
25:22They were stunned.
25:24How could he know what they had spoken about in private?
25:26That day, these two leading figures of the Quraysh, Attab and Haris, also became Muslim.
25:33Just think about it.
25:34Until that day, they had both stood firmly against Islam.
25:38They had lived like this for years.
25:40They had even lost some of their relatives while fighting against the Muslims.
25:44But now, when they were asked why they had changed their religion, their answer was simple.
25:49We witnessed the miracle of the Prophet .
25:53Throughout the history of the Sirah, there were many people who used to be staunch enemies of Islam,
25:58but became Muslims after witnessing a miracle.
26:01Is there any possibility that the miracles they witnessed were a lie?
26:05Could they have changed their religion, their purpose in life, and their entire mindset
26:10for something that never happened?
26:12Of course not.
26:13These miracles were real.
26:15They were true.
26:17As for the third person in that gathering, Abu Sufyan said,
26:20O Messenger of Allah, praise be to Allah that I didn't say anything.
26:27Rasulullah now wanted to enter the Kaaba he had missed so deeply.
26:32He sent word to Osman ibn Talha and asked him to bring the key.
26:36For many years, his family had been responsible for keeping that key.
26:40And now Osman thought this duty would no longer stay with his family.
26:44On the other hand, the Prophet's uncle Abbas greatly wished to have this honor.
26:49When Osman brought the key, the Prophet asked him,
26:52Didn't what I had told you long ago come true?
26:55What was he referring to?
26:57What had happened before?
26:59In the early years of Islam, the Messenger of Allah had invited Osman to Islam.
27:03But he refused.
27:05You've gone against your people's religion and come up with a new one.
27:10Then the Prophet said,
27:12O Osman, I hope a day will come when you will see me in a position
27:16where I can put this key wherever I want and give it to whoever I want.
27:21Osman remembered this clearly.
27:23He said,
27:24Yes, meaning what Rasulullah said has indeed come true.
27:28Then he added,
27:29I bear witness that you are the Messenger of Allah.
27:32He was worthy of keeping the key.
27:34He had carried out this duty for years.
27:37He truly deserved that trust.
27:39Everyone was wondering,
27:40Who will get the key now?
27:42Then the Messenger of Allah recited this ayah.
27:45Indeed, Allah commands you to return trusts to their rightful owners.
27:49And when you judge between people, judge with justice.
27:52Then he said,
27:54O Osman, here, take your key.
27:57Today is a day of goodness and keeping promises.
28:00He then entered the Kaaba.
28:02He had the door closed and remained inside alone for some time.
28:06When he came out, a large crowd was waiting for him.
28:11The Quraysh were nervously waiting to hear what he would decide about them.
28:15The Messenger of Allah looked at them in silence for a while.
28:18What was he going to do?
28:20Was he going to insult and humiliate them just as they had done to him?
28:24Would he throw camel intestines on them as they once did?
28:27Would he scatter thorns in their path and make them walk over them?
28:31Would he boycott them and starve them?
28:33Would he drive them out of their own homes?
28:36Would he order all of them to be killed?
28:39The Prophet praised and thanked Allah and began his sermon of conquest.
28:45When he finished, he asked them,
28:47O people of Quraysh, what do you think I will do with you now?
28:50They called out,
28:52You are a kind and generous brother, the son of a kind and generous brother.
28:57We expect nothing from you but good.
29:01Rasulullah who had been sent as a mercy to all the world said,
29:05My situation with you is like that of Yusuf and his brothers.
29:09Just as Yusuf said to his brothers, I say to you,
29:12There is no blame on you today.
29:14May Allah forgive you.
29:16He is the most merciful of those who show mercy.
29:19Go, you are free.
29:22Just imagine that, see.
29:24This was a forgiveness unmatched in history.
29:27Because even though he had the power and authority to punish,
29:30he still forgave them.
29:32Isn't that the greatest form of forgiveness?
29:35And isn't the greatest act of goodness to respond to evil with good?
29:39The stubbornness of the Quraysh was now completely shattered.
29:43Their eyes that had been blind to the truth were finally beginning to see.
29:49The next day, the Messenger of Allah went up to Safa Hill.
29:53This was the very place where years ago,
29:56he had first openly declared his prophethood.
29:59Remember, he had not received the answer he hoped for from anyone.
30:04Instead, he had been insulted by his own uncle in front of everyone.
30:09But now, the people of Quraysh were coming in large groups to accept faith.
30:14After the men, the women also came in groups to become Muslim.
30:18And among them was Hind, the wife of Abu Sufyan.
30:22She had covered her face to avoid being recognized and joined the women.
30:27She was full of deep regret for what she had done to the Prophet and the Muslims in the past.
30:39Her thoughts, heavy with guilt, were tearing her heart and mind apart.
30:44But she still had hope.
30:46She was hoping for the mercy of the Prophet of Mercy.
30:50When the Messenger of Allah learned that Hind had accepted Islam,
30:54he held no grudge against her.
30:56Despite all her past mistakes, he forgave her and accepted her pledge.
31:01The name Hind reminds us of another name, Wahshi.
31:04He was a slave who gained his freedom in return for killing Hamza ,
31:10beloved uncle of the Prophet.
31:12He even cut out Hamza's liver and brought it to Hind.
31:15And out of joy, she gave him all her jewelry.
31:19Wahshi gained his so-called freedom that day.
31:22But Mecca never treated him like a free man.
31:25In their eyes, he was still the same as before.
31:28How could he expect to be valued by people who were stuck in disbelief?
31:32Or what difference would their respect make?
31:35He was never free from the prison of his conscience.
31:38The conquest of Mecca only made this burden heavier.
31:42How could he stay among the Muslims after killing the Prophet's uncle?
31:47With these thoughts, Wahshi left Mecca.
31:49But could running away really free him from his past?
31:54Instead of turning to Allah, how could he change anything by running away?
31:59Wherever he went, the weight of his sins followed him.
32:03He was completely crushed by the burden of his conscience.
32:07In the midst of all this, an unexpected hand reached out to him.
32:12A delegation is going to the Messenger of Allah to accept Islam.
32:17He does not harm in voice.
32:20Go with them and accept Islam.
32:25He followed the advice, returned to Mecca,
32:28and accepted Islam in front of the Prophet .
32:40Our Lord has such infinite mercy that, for those who repent,
32:45He promises to turn every single sin they committed into good deeds.
32:49He also gives them hope that He can replace their bad habits with good ones.
32:54Another scene of happiness unfolded for Abu Bakr .
32:58Since the early days of Islam, he had longed for his father to taste the sweetness of faith.
33:04He took him by the hand and brought him to the Messenger of Allah .
33:09The Prophet felt uncomfortable out of respect that an elderly man had been brought to him.
33:14He said,
33:15Why don't you leave this old man at home so that we could have visited him there?
33:20Rasulullah placed his hands on the father's chest, gently rubbed it and said,
33:25Accept Islam or Abu Qahafah.
33:28And then he became Muslim too.
33:34But there were still some people who had not yet accepted faith.
33:38They were running away from the truth, from the light of guidance.
33:42Let's go back to the day of the conquest.
33:44That day, the Muslim army was divided into five units.
33:48And one of them was commanded by Khalid ibn Walid.
33:51Meanwhile, Ikrima ibn Abu Jahl and Safan ibn Umayyah had gathered a group of fighters to resist.
33:57As the army was entering the city, they attacked Khalid's unit.
34:01Even though the Prophet did not want bloodshed, the Mushrikun insisted on fighting.
34:06In a short time, they lost 13 men and ran away.
34:11Ikrima managed to escape and reach the port.
34:14Despite everything, he was still trying to run away from his lord.
34:18He got on a ship to go to Abyssinia.
34:21He wanted to leave everything behind.
34:23But his lord did not abandon him.
34:27Suddenly, an unexpected storm broke out at sea.
34:31The wind got stronger and stronger.
34:33The ship began to shake and rock violently.
34:36They feared that it was about to sink.
34:39At that moment, the captain called out to the people on board.
34:42Be sincere! Be honest!
34:46Only Allah can save us from this storm!
34:49They were on the verge of sinking.
34:51The wind was fierce and the sky was dark and gloomy.
34:55The people on the ship began to pray sincerely and only to Allah and declare his wonders.
35:01Why are you praying like this?
35:04No one can help us except Allah!
35:08Ikrima had come there to deny this very truth.
35:11But their words deeply affected him.
35:13So he prayed.
35:15Oh Allah!
35:17If you save me from this danger I am in, I will go to Muhammad and accept Islam.
35:24Then after a while, the storm calmed down.
35:28Later, Ikrima described that moment like this.
35:31That was when I began to understand Islam.
35:33And the love for it entered my heart.
35:35I told the people on the ship, take me back.
35:38By Allah, I will now return to Muhammad.
35:41After Ikrima had left Mecca, his wife Umm Hakim became Muslim.
35:45She went to the Messenger of Allah and asked him to forgive her husband.
35:50And the Prophet of Mercy granted Ikrima safety.
35:54Umm Hakim immediately set out with her slave to look for her husband.
35:59After a long journey, she found him on the shores of Tihama.
36:03A marriage that once dragged them towards hell would now turn into one that would lead them to paradise.
36:10Filled with shame, Ikrima didn't know how he could face the Messenger of Allah .
36:16He kept thinking about everything he had done against Islam.
36:20How could he ever be forgiven?
36:22And on top of that, he was the son of Abu Jahad.
36:25His mind was full of thoughts.
36:28When his wife told him that the Prophet had granted him safety, he was amazed.
36:33And his heart felt at ease.
36:37After days of travel, they approached Mecca.
36:40The Messenger of Allah was worried that some people might hurt Ikrima's feelings.
36:45So he told his companions,
36:46Ikrima is coming to you as a believer and a muhajir.
36:50Do not speak badly about his father.
36:52For saying bad words about the dead hurts the living.
36:55But it does not reach the dead.
36:58When Nasrullah saw them, out of joy, he immediately stood up and walked towards them.
37:04He then hugged Ikrima and said,
37:06Welcome, O muhajir horseman!
37:09Ikrima did not expect such a warm greeting.
37:12But he still felt ashamed and kept his head down.
37:16Then they sat down and began to speak.
37:19And finally, Ikrima recited the Shahada and became Muslim.
37:25His past life had been full of sins.
37:28And he had been in the darkness of shirk.
37:30He wanted his heart to find peace at last.
37:33He said,
37:35O Messenger of Allah, I ask you to pray for my forgiveness
37:38for all the hostility I showed you,
37:41every step I took against you,
37:43every situation I opposed you,
37:45and every word I said to your face or behind your back.
37:50The Messenger of Allah raised his hands and asked Allah to forgive him.
37:54The heavy burden on Ikrima's soul was finally lifted.
37:58Then he made this promise to the Prophet .
38:02O Messenger of Allah,
38:04By Allah, I will spend twice the wealth in the path of Allah
38:07that I spent to turn people away from Him.
38:10And I will fight twice the battles in the path of Allah
38:13that I fought to turn people away from Him.
38:17In this way, another dream of the Messenger of Allah came true.
38:21The Prophet had seen a dream he could not understand.
38:24He saw himself in paradise.
38:26And there was a beautiful tree that pleased him.
38:28He asked,
38:29Whose is this?
38:30The answer was completely unexpected.
38:33It belongs to Abu Jahl.
38:35He said to himself,
38:36By Allah, he will never enter paradise.
38:39But unlike us, Prophets do not see meaningless dreams.
38:43And on that day, the meaning of this dream became clear.
38:47That tree was Ikrima, the son of Abu Jahl.
38:50The Messenger of Allah also granted safety to prominent figures of Quraysh
38:55such as Safar ibn Umayyah and Suhail ibn Amr.
38:58And they too would become Muslim
39:00and spend the rest of their lives in the cause of Islam.
39:03May Allah be pleased with them all.
39:05There was great joy in the city.
39:07The people of Mecca were feeling the sweetness of faith.
39:11Something they had searched for all their lives,
39:13but could never find.
39:15In this spiritual atmosphere,
39:17a Bedouin came to the Messenger of Allah.
39:19He was trembling from excitement.
39:22Rasulullah noticed his state and said to him,
39:24Be calm, for I am not a king.
39:27I am only the son of a woman who ate dried meat.
39:29That day was full of examples of humility, compassion and loyalty.
39:35A person might show humility,
39:37but to show it at the peak of victory, that is something else.
39:41A person might be compassionate and forgiving,
39:43but to show these virtues at the height of power,
39:46that is something else entirely.
39:49For both Mecca and the whole world,
39:52a brand new era had begun.
39:54Allah was completing his light.
39:56However, the Muslims of Medina began to feel concerned.
40:00They were asking each other,
40:01Allah has granted his Messenger the conquest of his own homeland.
40:05Will the Prophet and his companions stay in Mecca now,
40:08or will they return with us?
40:10They were deeply curious about this,
40:13but they had no answer for it yet.
40:15The Messenger of Allah realized their concern
40:18and asked the Ansar what they were talking about.
40:20They replied,
40:21It's nothing O Messenger of Allah.
40:23But when he repeated his question a few times
40:25and saw that they were avoiding a clear answer,
40:28he understood what was on their minds.
40:30Then he said to them,
40:32I will live with you and die with you.
40:34Once again, these words showed his deep bond with them.
40:38In tears, the Ansar gathered around him and said,
40:41By Allah, we said these things only because we love Allah and His Messenger,
40:47and for no other reason.
40:50The conquest of Mecca had completely changed everything.
40:54The days of hardship were now over,
40:57and struggles had turned into ease.
40:59But in another way, it was also a sign that an era was coming to an end.
41:04Everything had fallen into place, exactly as it was meant to be.
41:09But in the eyes of the Prophet ,
41:11along with the deep sense of peace,
41:14there was a silent wait.
41:15His greatest wish was now to finally meet the Most Beloved, His Lord.
41:22On this earth, where he had dedicated his heart and soul to spreading Allah's message for years,
41:28he would soon speak to his Ummah one last time.
41:31And this time, not just a few people,
41:33but more than 100,000 believers would be there to witness that moment.
41:41So, what changed in the world after the conquest?
41:45What kind of political order was established in the Arabian Peninsula?
41:48What happened in the last days of the Prophet ?
41:52What emotional moments took place?
41:55And as the Prophet of mercy took his last breath,
41:58what did he leave behind for his Ummah?
42:01The answers to each of these questions,
42:03and the fulfillment of the great glad tidings in Surat al-Nasr.
42:07All of it will be in the final episode of our series.
42:11See you then.
42:18Aum.
42:19Aum.
42:19Aum.
42:20Aum.
42:20Aum.
42:20Aum.
42:20Aum.
42:21Aum.
42:21Aum.
