00:00Today on Media Miss Minute, former California Congressman Eric Swalwell is under investigation,
00:05but not for the allegations making headlines.
00:08And Vice President J.D. Vance highlights one of his proudest moves in office.
00:16I'm Craig DeGrelly.
00:18In today's Media Miss Minute, we're looking at two stories getting little attention from partisan outlets,
00:23starting with what the left is missing.
00:25The Department of Homeland Security is investigating Eric Swalwell, but not over the recent sexual misconduct allegations.
00:33U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services has referred claims that the California Democrat
00:38employed a Brazilian national as a nanny without proper work authorization.
00:43The complaint alleges the nanny continued working after her authorization expired in 2022,
00:50and that Swalwell used campaign funds to pay her under the table.
00:55Now to what the right is missing.
00:57Vice President J.D. Vance pointed to a key policy shift he says he's most proud of.
01:03Speaking at a Turning Point USA event, Vance said the United States is no longer buying weapons to send to
01:09Ukraine.
01:10It's one of the things I'm proudest that we've done in his administration,
01:13is we've told Europe that if you want to buy weapons, you can,
01:15but the United States is not buying weapons and sending them to Ukraine anymore.
01:18We're just out of that business. It's a very good thing.
01:20The U.S. has scaled back military and financial support for Kyiv since President Trump's second term began last year.
