00:00Do not look at my messy kitchen. I'm living in ecstasy, okay? I thought I lost this box.
00:05If you are Sam and Colby fans, you probably know I was in Hell Week. And what you don't know
00:09is that
00:09I decided to drive to Iowa. I drove 16 hours to Iowa and I went to antique malls and look
00:17what I
00:17found. I don't know why. I found this in my basement. I don't know where it went. When I was
00:20a kid, I was
00:21obsessed with McDonald's Happy Meal toys. It didn't matter what it was. It didn't matter. I wanted them
00:26all. And I don't know if you're like me, but anytime I did an activity, I was rewarded with a
00:31Happy Meal. And this, these are vintage Happy Meal toys from McDonald's. I also thought that while I
00:37did this, I could tell you some baby names that I like, but I will not be using. Oh my
00:41gosh, I'm
00:42already seeing things that are lighting me on fire. Do you remember when these came out? These like
00:46little VHS's, but inside was the toy. This is Alice in Wonderland. And yes, I will donate all this
00:51stuff. I always do. I just got to open it. Except for Alice. I'm going to be keeping her. Why
00:57do you
00:57look like that? Sometimes I just wonder if she will taste the same as she did. That's not right,
01:02is it? Mm, BPA. Look, look. Alice, you're going as number one. She's my number one. We're going to
01:10rank one through five. We're going to have five toys. I'm going to have to keep five toys, okay? I
01:14loved
01:14when they came out with like the little Beanie Babies, but mainly my favorite was the Barbies. I love the
01:19Barbies. I'm really hoping that I get some Barbies. This, this sounds stupid. I didn't know that they
01:23literally had the same toys in America as they did in Canada. Wow, mind blows, Lena. As for the first
01:29name that I like that I didn't use for our little boy, who we got to see today. Do you
01:33want to see
01:33ultrasound pictures? They're on the fridge. They're covering dents. Look at him. Look at, he has a face.
01:40He's, he's giving props. He's just laying on his side. This is my son. And I bet nobody will ever
01:46guess his name. But yeah, one of the names I liked was Sawyer. I like Sawyer. Wait, what is this
01:50from?
01:51This is the owl from Pooh. That's cute. These are actually holding up looking really good for
01:56being in there for like 20 something years. Oh my God. I don't like that. We're hunting for a Barbie.
02:03The Barbie's really fun. You know what my thing is? Who didn't open these? Who had a parent that was
02:08like, don't open them. They'll be worth something someday. Are they worth something? No, not really.
02:12Like, you know what else I really liked? Do you remember the little dolls? They did these little creepy dolls.
02:16They were Annie dolls. They were something else. They had like black eyes. All right, we have Robin Hood.
02:21Oh my gosh. Look at him. And he's got the tail. And it's funny. He's a fox because that was
02:28like my first
02:29pick name. I really liked the name Fox. The theme of our nursery is probably going to be foxes, but
02:34his name is not
02:35Fox. I really liked Fox. But I feel like we had to like really mutually agree on a name,
02:41which we did when we heard his. Oh my gosh. Okay. Okay. Oh, y'all are going to know this.
02:47Opening these like literally feels illegal. It's a little T.Y. beanie baby. And the tag says
02:53big red shoe bear. He does. He has a big red shoe. That is so cute. I just love it.
02:58It's like going down
02:58nostalgia lane. Oh, this is so cool. All right. So this is Batman. This is the Joker from Batman.
03:04And this is from 1993. Oh my gosh. Look at that. Do you like go? Is that technology not around
03:15yet?
03:15Pull back and go? Like, I don't know why I expected it to look different. I do feel kind of
03:20bad opening
03:20these. There's definitely some old mustard on there. Cool. Cool. When is this one? 1993. Oh my gosh.
03:30And it is a megaphone. Oh my God. What?
03:38It wouldn't work back in the day. Me just like cutting my lips. It was in a bag. It was,
03:44it was fine.
03:45But literally we didn't name him Josh. I went to school with this little boy named Josh and he was
03:51such a sweetheart. So Josh was like always on my list. The weird thing was, is I was convinced I
03:56was
03:56going to have a little girl. So in my mind brain, I was like, don't even worry about it, babe.
04:02I had this and it was on our Christmas tree forever. Anyways, I had like a million baby
04:07girls' names picked out. I had this growing up and I hung around the tree because she's
04:14like Christmas Barbie. I'm keeping up. You're, you're one of my keeps. I got a trend going on
04:19here. I have a lot of blonde haired girls. Look at Chris. I love blonde girls. Oh, there's two of
04:26her. I'm going to leave this one in the bag because there is two of them. When did this come
04:29out? 95. Yeah. I probably got a yard sale. Oh, who is this? This is Marvel and this is Storm
04:36Vehicle. Hmm. 1996. Dude, these were like toys are not this cool anymore. They're just not. Babe,
04:44you're going to be dizzy. Very cool. I've never been a Marvel girl. I feel like you either are
04:50really into Marvel or you're not. Like DC comics more so than Marvel, but like they're going to like
04:55make people angry when I say this, but I am just like, I am just not an action packed movie.
05:01I'll
05:01watch like John Wick, but like, I'm really like, it needs to be a messed up drama. Like I need
05:05there to
05:05be a woman protagonist. I need there to be trauma. I don't know if it's because like I watch things,
05:11like it has to be kind of realistic. Even like my books, like I put them in a world that
05:15you can
05:15believe in. Like I'm not into fantasy. I'm so, there's so many books that everybody's obsessed
05:19with and I read them and I'm just like, it needs to like, I don't know. Guys, this is Babe.
05:24This is
05:25from Babe. Holy crap. God, it's like taking me back. 1995. Oh my gosh. Look, it's the little lamb
05:34from Babe. I love it. Do you remember it was just like, you go to the movie, I'm going to
05:39age myself
05:39here. You go to the movie store. Movie stores were kind of gone by the time I was a teenager,
05:43but like, remember like going to the movies, going to Blockbuster, picking out a movie. Snacks
05:49were always way too expensive. Never got a snack. Well, I didn't even go to Blockbuster. There was
05:52like this grocery, no, it was like a variety store and it was downtown and they never had like the
05:57new
05:57new releases, but my friend's dad owned it and he would like put them back for us so we could
06:01get a
06:01new release. It was 99 cents a night. We had to be damned that we'd have that movie back the
06:06next day.
06:06Cabbage patch play set. Hold up. 1995. Oh babe. Oh my gosh. Okay. That's pretty cute. That's pretty
06:16cute. Oh, and this is a wheel and you can turn it from day to nighttime. Okay. This is, this
06:23is going
06:23up there. Look, you can tell I'm such a kid. Oh my gosh. Oh, this is cool. This is the
06:29happy holidays
06:30from McDonald's holiday Coca-Cola bear. Man, I swear the toys are not as cool. They're all like, well,
06:35you know what? It makes sense why they're not as cool now. And I'll answer my own question here and
06:39not have to get obliterated in the comment. It's because this shit all goes to landfills. And when
06:44they're plastic like this, I'm sure there is like 900 million Alises right now in the landfills,
06:50which is not great. Your five minutes of satisfaction are not worth the landfills being full.
06:55That is amazing. Look at him. Look at all the detail in him. Like, okay. I have such a box
06:59to go
07:00and I've already had my five guys. Oh, when did he come out? The bear. 2002. Miss Piggy tub toy.
07:06Wait,
07:07color change? And when did Miss Piggy come out? This is from 1995. Oh my gosh. Me. Slay. Also,
07:17do you want to hear something really, really cute? Our crib and our dresser came today. And I think
07:21like it's felt real the whole time, but it's also felt like I've been holding my breath this whole time
07:25and going to the ultrasound and seeing him like flipping around in her belly. And like,
07:30it's crazy because our surrogate, Jess, she's amazing, has had a bunch of babies. And she's
07:35had a bunch of babies. And so she got a bump so fast and we're at like five and something
07:39months.
07:40And she has like a, like an actual like bump and it's so cute. And like, I was so excited
07:46to see it.
07:46And I felt like maybe I'd be a little sad just because I don't get to do that, but I
07:49wasn't. I was just
07:50so overwhelmingly excited. Another name we liked, Noah. I liked the name Noah. Oh,
07:55this is a, oh, this is a Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, the movie Power Com. And this came out in
08:001994.
08:02Oh,
08:05what? Hold on. That's pretty sick. There's a robot guy in there.
08:10I need to wear that. Is my wrist too fat?
08:15Go ahead. Ask me if my wrist was too fat because it was.
08:20Drone Dairy Camel Plush Toy. 1994. All right, let's see this camel.
08:24Oh goodness. Oh, that's scary. Did you guys ever do anything weird as kids? Like here's mine. I feel
08:31embarrassed to even say this, but I was convinced that to fall asleep, you had to hold your breath
08:36like going underwater. And I used to hold my breath over and over and over and over and over again
08:40until I fell asleep. So in reality, I passed out every single night. Okay. This is a Marvel
08:48Spider-Man vehicle and it came out in 1996. So you can see the age on that a little bit.
08:54But that's
08:54pretty cool that you push him and it like shoots a web. All right. That one didn't make it through
08:59years. It's good. That's Batman. Wait, does Spider-Man have a song?
09:05Spider-Pig, Spider-Pig does whatever a Spider-Pig does. This is the upside down, wacko, Animaniacs.
09:141993. I was too young to even know this. This is before my time, babe.
09:19No, no, no, no, no, no. Do you remember these guys? Did anybody watch them? Like it's familiar.
09:23I'm, it's familiar to me. Okay. What do we have here? We have Mr. Fumble and the Fire Station.
09:30What? Is this an American thing? 1995. Another name that I really liked is Forest. But we will be
09:37not using the name Forest. It's like Fire Station. This is like a show, wasn't it? And then there's this
09:43little pig man. And then you can like drive. Wow, Selena. Who knew that's what you can do in a
09:48car?
09:49Do you ever hear yourself talk? And you're just like, maybe I just shouldn't. Oh, this might be
09:55my next key. Look what we have. It's a TY. And this one's from 2004. That makes more sense. This
10:03is
10:03Grimace the Bear. Look, wouldn't that just be perfectly adorably cute on my desk? See, I completely agree.
10:09We're on the same wavelength. I also liked the name Jacob. You know why. I live in a forest. Okay.
10:15My son could have been a werewolf. Son. Oh my gosh. All right. Who do we have here?
10:22Talking about babies. Cabbage Patch Kids. Congratulations on your new arrival. Abigail Lynn.
10:29And this is from 1994. Oh my God. I think I had a daughter. I just love the smell of
10:35this plastic.
10:36She has a little candy cane. Adam will have to understand he's not the father. But look,
10:43she's perfect. We're just gonna wait. I already have five. Okay. I'm allowed to have 10. I'm
10:49allowed to have seven. So I have six. I'm allowed to have one more. We're gonna have to kick somebody
10:52out of the ranks. I'm excited. I'm excited. This is definitely gonna have to keep. This is definitely
10:55gonna be keep. Look what we have. This is VR troopers. Like virtual reality troopers. Kaleidoscope.
11:02When did this come out? So we're talking about VR. 95. Most of y'all probably weren't even alive yet.
11:10This is terrible. Hold on. Can you see through this?
11:15I'm a little stupid. Oh wait. I forgot to see what this was. Disneyland Adventures Roger the Rabbit.
11:21What? I love it. I love it. Can you see? Wow. There's a picture of Disneyland. Oh, I like that.
11:29You're staying. You're staying. You're staying. We were in the mall and there was Legoland. And I've
11:34had a bit of an obsession lately with Lego. And we went by Legoland. I was like, Adam, we can't
11:39go in
11:39there. And he's like, yeah, we're going in there. And I said, no, because if they, if they welcome me
11:43warmly, I'm f***ed. It's like, if they're nice to me, I'm going to buy the whole store. I didn't buy
11:48anything. I remember this toy. I only had one piece of it. And my mom got it for me in
11:54a yard
11:54so I was going to shut up. This is a grimace with an accessory. 1995. Also boy names are hard,
12:01man. There's so many girl names. Like I like the name Delaney. Adam is not a fan of Delaney. To
12:05be
12:05honest, I just really want to name my daughter after my dog because my dog is like my soul. Molly.
12:10And as we
12:11know, she's not going to be around forever. Okay. Look at Grimace. I was such a spooky kid.
12:15And look, Grimace became a ghost. Oh, this means I have to get rid of something. Okay. Coca-Cola bear.
12:21You're out. You're out. Oh, I chewed on this so hard. Okay. This is Marvel's color changing,
12:28invisible woman. This is from 1996. Oh, this is nostalgia, babe. Nostalgia. Look at her. A ghost,
12:36a figure of your imagination. You don't know who she is. Do you?
12:40She's invisible. You have to stay. What are we getting rid of? I have two cabbage patches.
12:44I like this one. I can put it in my purse and play with it when I'm bored. Sorry, lady.
12:48Sorry.
12:49Lion King 2, Simba's Pride. 1998. Who do we get? Isn't that the baby Scarface?
12:58It's not Scarface. It's Scar. Scarface is a toy that they would not not have at McDonald's. Okay.
13:05Next up. Oh, this is a toy from the Inspector Gadget movie. All right. Inspector Gadget. Watch it Gadget.
13:13Okay. And this is from 1999. That movie had people hooked. Oh my gosh. Look at the tiny little wrist
13:21on this.
13:21This had a battery in it. Can you imagine the battery still works? Hold on. This would be 26 years
13:27ago.
13:29Stop. I'm gonna throw up. It's not gonna work. Oh my god. Do you think I can get this on
13:32my wrist?
13:33It's like, I don't know, man. I got dainty wrists, but oh god. Oh, that is tight. Oh my gosh.
13:42Guys, you guys don't realize how dainty I am, okay? My grandmother was 4'11 and weighed 90 pounds.
13:47I am 5'2 and I weigh 189. But look at my wrist. The size of a child. Look at
13:54that. That's my wrist size.
13:56Stop talking. I'm so tired. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no,
14:01no, no, no. Hot wheels.
14:02And this is the Dark Rider series. This thing is made out of metal. This is exciting. Okay, 1995.
14:09Another name that I really liked is River. You're hearing a bit of a nature theme going through here.
14:13I really like it. I also really liked the name Bodhi. Bodhi is the tree of life. Another name that
14:20we did not use.
14:21I also love the name Arlo. I think Arlo is such a cute name. Alo is a really cool name,
14:27like A-L-O.
14:27That's from season cast three of Skins. I really liked that. It's like, oh my god, no, no, no, no,
14:34no, no, no.
14:34And it literally is the back. Is that the Batmobile? Is that the Batmobile? Does it say?
14:39I lost the bag. I don't know. It's a spiffy black car. We have the Flame series of Hot Wheels.
14:45This one looks sick as heck and like I would drive. I drive the heck out of that too. That
14:49is sick.
14:50Look at this car. I might need to keep that. Who's going?
14:55I already know this house is going to be full of Hot Wheels stuff eventually.
15:00Mickey and Friends Adventure at Walt Disney. Donald in Mexico. Oh, this is cute.
15:07I just know so many people are crazy at me opening these, but why?
15:10Mickey is down on deck and he's wearing a sombrero.
15:14Sombrero, Donald. How you doing, buddy?
15:18Oh, are you ready? We got Sonic the Hedgehog. 1993. Just so much of this seems chokeable.
15:26Oh, he's going to set off. I hope this still works. Are you ready? I think my brother had this.
15:33I had too much fun with that. Did I sound like a goose? There are geese in my backyard.
15:38Oh my gosh. You know what name I really like for our little girl too?
15:41I liked Rosie or Rosalie. And then she can go by Rosie when she's a baby, Rosalie when she's like
15:48a woman,
15:49like middle-aged or whatever. And then Rose when she's old. I thought that was pretty.
15:52Love the name Poppy. Love the name Winter. Love the name Molly, Mia.
15:59We'll be using any of those. Maybe in the future. What is this?
16:06Spy Kids 3? There's Junie and Carmen. I remember. Oh my gosh. Is this Carmen on a motorcycle?
16:13What? Oh, that is badass. All right. Who's going?
16:22Who mind your business? It came with like a book. Oh my gosh. The excitement has just freaking
16:29begun. Hi guys. No, you can't take all this stuff. You can't take it. Oh my gosh. I am feeling
16:39very
16:39disturbed. It's three freaking deep. Guys, I don't think you understand what I'm seeing right now.
16:45This is electric. I'm going to be reading that later. That is disorienting. Oh my gosh. I think that
16:52these type of glasses, um, you have to be under 18. Under 18 is the rule for that. What is
16:58that?
16:58Spider-Man. This is Spider-Sense Peter Parker, but this is from Spider-Man in 1995.
17:05Oh, he's looking buff. He looks like he's about to hulk out.
17:12I don't know. I don't know about that. All right. What? Okay. First, this is a save one dollar coupon
17:18for Jim Henson's Muppet Workshop. Oh, it expired on December 31st of 1995.
17:25But this is the Muppet Workshop. Happy meal monster from 95. 94 probably expired in 95.
17:33Oh my God. This is going to be cute. I'm about to build a monster. A little tiny moment monster.
17:38I'm a puppet girl. Like I love puppets. Everyone, I don't think they know how they, how they feel about
17:43Muppets. Look. Hi. How are you? Having a good day, Adam? Yeah. Look. Hi. Hi. I'm not going to grow
17:51up, Adam. Am I? No. That's awesome. Say hi to everybody. Hello, everybody. Did I tell you there's
17:56geese in my backyard? I'm going to show you. You're going to come. There's a pair of geuses.
18:01What are some other boy names that we liked but we're not using? Jebediah. We were not naming our
18:06son Jebediah. Not Jebediah Springfield? Yes, actually. If you want to know what we are naming
18:11our son, it's Jebediah Springfield. Oh my God. Okay. I'm really liking these because I like the picture
18:16that was in the other one. This is the Disneyland Adventures Mickey Mouse. I see a magic school bus
18:23toy. Oh, that is so sick. Can you see it? Wow. It's, it's someone. They're on the Space Mountain
18:34ride. I know that because I've been on Space Mountain. I'm keeping that. I have eight toys.
18:38That's a rough ride, Adam. Yeah, that's a rough ride. Okay. Look at this. This is the Magic School
18:43Bus Undersea Adventure Game. When did this come out? 1994. This is Liz Down Under. Oh wow. Look,
18:52it's a ball game and you get it in the hole. Well, I'm going to say it looked really fun,
18:56but it's not
18:57really a maze because you just go one way. Okay, we're done. Yay. All right, let's open these guys.
19:04So we have the sword and the stone. The wizard. Oh my God. Aristocats. The Aristocats. Do you remember
19:12this? Look, it literally has a fuzzy tummy. That is so cute. Oh my gosh, Aladdin. This, I recently heard
19:19that Kim Kardashian when she was, um, in India thought that it was going to be like the movie
19:23Aladdin and she was not having a time. Oh wow. We actually got Aladdin. What a handsome fellow.
19:30I love your tiny hat and your, I thought that was a golden bird, but no, that makes sense that
19:35it is a,
19:35what is that? The teapot? What's the thing that gives wishes? Snow White. Who are we going to get?
19:39Are we going to get one of the guys? Are we going to get her? We have Snow White.
19:43What happened to your hair? Age did not help miss Snow White. What is going on there? No.
19:50Oh, I can't imagine, believe that these like made it. I feel like none of these made it into the
19:5621st
19:56century. When is this from 1995? The nineties was the 21st century, correct? Out of the 1900s.
20:04Is that the way to say that? We're in the 21st century now. Okay. I didn't think they'd make it
20:12into the 21st century. The rest of these seem to be duplicates, but I'm going to show you my geese.
20:18You better hang around. They're called cobra chickens. That's what Chris called them the other day.
20:23I snapped her, the geese in my backyard because she's no longer here in Canada. And I was like,
20:28in case you missed them and she sent it back. She's like, I'll miss a cobra chicken. They literally
20:33are. They will attack you. Like if they've made a mess somewhere near your living, where you're living.
20:38But these same cobra chickens have come every year that we've lived here and they pretty much come
20:42here to court. And then they go somewhere else. I think to have their babies with like
20:47the rest of the geese's. Geese. I don't think that's right. It's just geese. These chickens over here
20:54are insane. They are my Polish chickens. One is named Linda and the other one is named Chris Chicken
21:02because it was blonde and redhead and she flips between them. But look at this. They jumped the fence.
21:08They have not gotten killed. Sometimes they'll leave for days. Are you eating all the ticks?
21:13How cute are they though? Linda. This right here is Ezekiel. A girl. What are all my geese?
21:21Well, I can tell you these are my chickens. Look at these little fluffy guys. We got Lydia,
21:26Toops, Olive, Frost, Mary-Kate, Ginger, Star, Karen, Mary-Kate, that's Mary-Kate, the twins,
21:32Bard Rock, Barbie, that's the Fonz, and that's Moon. Is everybody here? I think that's all we got. And then
21:36I also
21:37have a silky one. But where are the geese? They were resting so beautifully right there.
21:41And they're gone. I don't have anything for you. Hi Chris. Chris, you leave me. You just flew away again.
21:49But the geese tend to live in the pond right here. Don't you love it? I love it and I
21:55love you. I want
21:55your baby name guesses. What do you think our son is named? I gotta say our son. Anyways, I hope
22:02you're
22:02having a great day and a happy Saturday or happy whatever day you're watching on this. But I love you.
22:06Stay spooky, Blue Crew. Bye!
