09:00It's just kind of a little getaway from the house and all the indoor chores.
09:06We had a two-month-old baby at home, very colicky, didn't sleep, and, you know, just
09:14very sleep-deprived on my part.
09:17I had my golf cart carrying all my supplies and I went to go move a bag of potting soil
09:24over and it landed and got stuck on the gas pedal.
09:28The golf cart was headed towards our well.
09:32If it had stayed straight, I think I would have been okay, but then it just took a sharp
09:36left and threw me off.
09:42My daughter all of a sudden says to me, hey, Dad, the golf cart's running through the yard.
09:47But then she said, Dad, it's going really fast and Mom is chasing it.
09:50So I get up thinking, this is going to be funny to watch.
09:58The golf cart went about two football fields in length before it crashed into the fence.
10:11I was just very happy when it finally stopped so I could get to it.

10:20They have a 13-acre farm next to us.
10:22The golf cart went straight into the horse pasture and I thought, oh my gosh.

10:31By the time I made it outside, it had already crashed through the fence and it stopped.

10:49I really thought the golf cart was going to be in a much worse state than it was.
10:53The horses weren't anywhere near the opening of the fence and I was delighted to see that
10:58there was just a few boards that had to be replaced so it was a quick fix.

14:12A camera in Florida catches something odd.
14:18it was pretty much a normal day at work i got home i started cooking dinner and our son who
14:25was three at the time dropped an eggshell on the ground and i bent over to pick it up and
14:30that's
14:30when i just had this extreme sharp pain and it sent me to the ground my back problem was
14:36not existed until that moment in time just hear this loud like scream like i thought someone died
14:48and i hear a loud thud and i go in there and he's just on the ground in pain my
14:53son he was
14:54completely confused did not know what was going on just screaming i can drag you i can drag you
15:02ready i went into practical mode i was just like let's get to the hospital and so at first you
15:06know i tried different things i tried getting my son's stroller and i tried to put him in the
15:10stroller i was absolutely screaming in my pants yeah there was no way i was fitting in the stroller
15:14it just wasn't gonna happen and so finally i just i saw my son's like blanket on the ground i
15:19was like
15:19you know what i'm gonna roll you onto this blanket and then just drag you out
15:26there was a lot of comments like why didn't you call an ambulance i don't have money for that
15:31that's money for an ambulance okay one two i think we were more worried about like what the neighbors
15:40would think we just moved to this new neighborhood and they're gonna see me dragging out this body out
15:46the front door logistically that's when the nightmare started because we had to figure out
15:55how to get me into the back of the truck so then we got a medicine ball what we ultimately
16:01decided to
16:01do was use it as a ramp as lacy pushed my body over so that i could sit on top
16:07of the ball inside of the
16:08truck when we were putting him into the truck i just thought it was hilarious i thought if anyone was
16:13watching us we looked like we're crazy people it's absolutely not dignifying at all i was
16:20humiliated i'm like see this is why you should work out you know he hates when i say that as
16:24we were
16:24driving to the hospital every single curve and bump i felt it all and it felt like it was an
16:30eternity
16:31to go three miles at the hospital you can't sit down in the wheelchair and so he just lays forward

16:38the wheelchair they did scans on my lower back and then they said unfortunately you have herniated
16:44two discs in your back they let me know that i needed to go see a specialist and that it
16:50would
16:50require pt and possibly further medical diagnosis i would say i'm about 90 to 95 percent better now
16:58i have started working out my wife i have to thank for that thank you and and his life is
17:05completely
17:05better now that he works out and it absolutely is better so always listen to your wife that's the
17:11lesson of the day
