00:00What's the spring been for you?
00:01It's been a good spring going into my sophomore year.
00:04Just trying to change my body, more understanding defense,
00:08and just keep developing.
00:09Got a new group of guys around me, so it's so good to see new people
00:13and be able to change their defense and bring people along,
00:16and we all learn together.
00:17You said you wanted to change your body. How so?
00:20When I came into college, I was about 338, so I'm like 314 now.
00:25So just trying to trim up, keep getting stronger, keep getting faster,
00:28and just lean out so I might be able to run more and play more snaps.
00:31Can you really feel like this is year two for you, like when you're out of practice?
00:34You're feeling like a lot more comfortable out there?
00:36Yeah, I'm feeling a lot more comfortable.
00:37It's been great so far because my children are standing on me.
00:40He pushed me because he knows where I can be, and so it's been good.
00:43It really does feel like year two,
00:44and I'm so excited to keep on building over the summer and going to football camp.
00:48Do you think you play mostly in those guard, D-tackle, or both?
00:52Primarily playing tackle, but I play really both, pretty much 50, 50, honestly.
00:56What was it like to have another year with Montrell?
00:59You know, Auburn's decision to bring him back as your position coach.
01:02How important was that?
01:02Oh, no, it was great.
01:03You know, I committed to Montrell a long, long time ago.
01:06So just having him back, having somebody who believes in me,
01:09somebody who believed in me from the start,
01:11somebody who knows what to do, what I need to do to get to my full potential,
01:15it's been great.
01:15So definitely I love Auburn in general,
01:17but it's a blessing to have him back so he can keep on building.
01:20What's it like having Jordan back, Darian back?
01:23You guys are still together and, you know, kind of developing alongside each other.
01:26Oh, no, it's cool.
01:27Just to see everybody grow.
01:29Just like Darian, you know, going from being too small,
01:31he had to play D-end last year.
01:33From this year, you know, playing D-tackle and doing a great job this year.
01:36And even Jordan, like, it's cool to go through the recruitment process
01:39and keep on going together, and we all just getting better
01:41and watching each other grow, and it just flourishes into who we're supposed to be.
01:45What's Cody Sigler going to that room so far?
01:47Oh, Cody Sigler's had a lot.
01:49Hey, Houston.
01:50You know, everybody in this room is pretty much young for the most part,
01:52a lot of sophomores.
01:53But adding an older guy with a lot of experience,
01:55somebody with a story, with a ton of drive,
01:58he's been a great addition to the room.
02:01He's done a great job.
02:02I knew from the time he came in, just through workouts,
02:05I was like, yeah, this is one of the ones.
02:07So, man, me and him have been competing.
02:08We've been working out in the same rack since January,
02:10and he's just a great guy to be around.
02:12How big was it for you guys to get Dallas back for another year?
02:14Huge.
02:14Huge to get Dallas back.
02:16Nobody knows what it's going to look like as far as in the nose room,
02:19but once we got Dallas back, we knew we were going to be good.
02:22So having a guy with so much experience
02:24and such a big guy to clog up the middle is going to be great.
