00:00I go back to John Middleton less than a week before the start of the season,
00:05repeating what Dave Dombrowski said last November, last October during that press conference.
00:11We have a good club. If Christopher Sanchez's strike was called a strike,
00:16you know, we probably would have won that game, and then it would have come back to Philadelphia game five.
00:22They're complacent from up top, and that's not a good message going into a season.
00:29The message should have been going into a season.
00:31We have a lot to prove, and we have a lot of people to prove wrong.
00:35There's a lot of stuff that's being said about us.
00:38Unfortunately, what's being said kind of started with the GM or the president of baseball operations
00:44calling Bryce Harper not elite.
00:45It did.
00:46It started there, and you could have used that as fuel.
00:48Instead, it's almost kind of been like, yeah, you know, we'll figure it out.
00:52Yeah, there's no absolute racing to find a solution.
00:57There's no fire to.
00:58They just brought back everybody.
00:59They're just, and then they expect different results.
01:03They expect that people are going to be fired up for it.
01:05They're thinking people are going to be excited.
01:07This is a team that just is blah.
01:09They're just blah.
01:10They need something.
01:10And they're playing like it.
01:11They need something to wake them up.
01:12And I'm telling you, I've been around enough teams,
01:15and this certainly seems like a team that is, well, let's just say going through the motions.
01:22And that usually happens before a manager gets fired.
01:25That's how I feel.
01:28That's how I feel.
