ADIL (22) is Manchester's self-proclaimed finest femboy! He's known for his raunchy outfits, glamorous makeup, and all-around sassy personality, which makes him stand out in every room he is in! Adil told Transformed: "If I walk into a room and no one is giving me a dirty look, or looking me up and down, I need to go home and change! I need to put some more makeup on, I need to get my lips done again! I'm me, and I'm not apologising for it!" Despite Adil's fierce confidence and outgoing personality, he has faced adversity due to the style he chooses and his sexuality. Not only has he faced judgement in public, but he has also had to make the brave and difficult decision to turn his back on many people in his life. Adil said: "I grew up in a Pakistani muslim household. It was alright growing up until I had these feelings of being gay and suppressing myself for so long. I had to turn my back, but low-key, it made me really strong as a person. It's the best thing I've ever done in my life, I'm free now". Today, Adil wants to strip back the spicy femboy and embrace his Pakistani heritage for the very first time. Adil's plan is to get his best friends Megan and Zheinab to the bar where he works, but as he enters, they are going to be in for the shock of their lives! But will Adil feel like he's finally been able to embrace his Pakistani culture?

00:00I am Manchester's finest femboy.
00:02If I walk into a room and no one's giving me a dirty look or looking me up and down,
00:06I need to go warm and change.
00:07I need to put some more makeup on.
00:09I need to get my lips done again.
00:11I'm me and not apologising for it.
00:13Today, I am stripping back my sexy, femboy lifestyle
00:16and I'm reclaiming my Pakistani heritage on my own terms.
00:20Hey, ****!
00:20****!
00:27I'm Adeel.
00:28I am Pakistan's finest femboy.
00:30Name another Pakistani femboy who's longer than me.
00:36A femboy is a feminine gay man.
00:38We wear, like, feminine clothes.
00:40We wear the makeup.
00:40But for me, it's not, like, cross-dressing fully.
00:43It's kind of, like, lying that I don't go over.
00:45I just cross-dress to be, like, a pretty gay boy.
00:48Femboy style is, like, crop tops.
00:51I've got a tiny waist, so I've got to show that off.
00:52My face is quite femme.
00:54Obviously, I've got quite a lot of makeup on.
00:55My best qualities are big lips, small waist.
00:59Period.
01:00I work in a bar, but when I walk in later,
01:02no one is going to recognise me.
01:04I've always been proud of my culture,
01:06but my best friends would never think in a million years
01:08that this femboy would turn traditional.
01:11Time to get this plan going, but first step,
01:13get the girls to the bar.
01:18Hi.
01:19Hi, babe.
01:20Can you meet me at the bar at four o'clock?
01:22At four?
01:23Yeah, that's fine.
01:23Yeah, at four.
01:24I've got a surprise to use.
01:26Make sure you bring Meghan.
01:27I'm so excited.
01:28Make sure you bring Meghan Queen.
01:30I will do.
01:31See you later.
01:32See you later, babe.
01:33Bye.
01:34I'm going to be de-glamming.
01:36I'm getting more in touch with my Pakistani side
01:38without any makeup.
01:40You're going to see the real me, basically.
01:44I've chosen to transform into this today because,
01:47although, like, I feel free now, living my best life,
01:50I kind of feel like I've kind of forgotten, like,
01:52parts, my roots and my culture.
01:54And, you know, I really want to embrace where I'm actually from.
01:57Also today, I'm going to a South Asian LGBTQ society
02:00where I can meet other South Asian LGBTQ people like myself.
02:05How do you feel about that you're about to embrace your
02:08Pakistani heritage?
02:09I mean, I'm excited.
02:10I haven't wore the clothes in ages.
02:12Like, I feel like I'm kind of like, you know,
02:14little, like, childhood me would be like, oh, cute.
02:17But I'm also just like, this is just going to be gross.
02:21Like, I'm just going to look gross.
02:22I grew up Pakistani Muslim household.
02:25My mum used to dress me and my brother the same
02:27for quite a lot of my childhood.
02:28It was all right growing up, obviously, until I started
02:30to get these, like, feelings of being gay.
02:32I, like, suppressed myself for so long, like, until I was 17
02:36is when I came out.
02:38Like, I did live, like, quite scared of, like, you know,
02:41they're going to kick me out.
02:41What's going to happen?
02:42The reason why I had to turn my back,
02:44it was kind of like a mixture of everything.
02:46Being in the house when I've got, like,
02:47having to hide in my room, putting concealer on,
02:49kind of like, live like a double life.
02:50But low-key, it made me, like, really, really strong as a person.
02:55And, you know, it's made me so confident.
02:58I do feel really proud about making that decision.
03:00I think it's the best thing I've ever done in my life.
03:02I'm free now.
03:04I'm going to feel naked without my jewellery.
03:06I've had all my piercings in my face since I was 17.
03:08Do you know what I mean?
03:09Like, I've never took them out.
03:15Oh, next step's the hair.
03:18Oh!
03:19God, I'm known for me luscious locks.
03:22This is going to be...
03:24disgusting.
03:27Let's see how big his forehead really is.
03:30I have been judged in public and online.
03:33It's happened quite a lot, to be honest.
03:35I've been spat on before.
03:36I've been told, like, I'm a disgrace to my family.
03:38Oh, his poor dad, his poor Muslim family.
03:40He's brought shame on all of them.
03:42It used to get to me a lot when I was younger.
03:44People are keyboard warriors, like,
03:45they've got nothing else better to comment on.
03:46Thank you for boosting my algorithm, girl.
03:50So fiddly.
03:52I'm reviewing it to my best friends, Zai and Megan.
03:57Adil rang you earlier, like, what's going on?
03:59Like, what does he say on the phone?
04:00If he just rang me, he said, be here at one o'clock.
04:03I'm not sure why.
04:04I think their reactions are going to be fun to watch.
04:06She doesn't see me, like, put together, like, going out or, like,
04:09in a different kind of, like, style to what I am now.
04:12Do you know what I mean?
04:12So it'll be quite...
04:14It's quite exciting to see that.
04:15This is so weird.
04:17I look so different.
04:18God, anyways, let's ring up the girls.
04:20Let's get to the bar.
04:21What do you think of Adil's fanboy look now?
04:23I love it.
04:25Like, I think, like, no one else looks like him.
04:28Like, genuinely.
04:29He doesn't care what anyone thinks about what he looks like.
04:31He loves wearing a crop top.
04:33He just does his thing.
04:35He goes out and then he comes home and he has a drink.
04:38Literally anywhere you go,
04:39especially in the gay village in Manchester,
04:42everyone notices him, like,
04:43because he's already seen them.
04:44Oh, my gosh, the way he does his stuff.
04:46Yeah.
04:46Nobody can do it.
04:47No one can do it like a girl, honestly.
04:49All angles, he's looking good.
04:50All angles.
04:51Do you think he can pull off any other look?
04:54Do you know what?
04:54I've seen him try to look like a straight lad before.
04:58Do you know what?
04:58He can pull off the no-makeup look.
05:01He really can.
05:02Hey, .
05:04.
05:08Down.
05:10Oh, my gosh.
05:11Do you like the hair?
05:12Face, so curious.
05:13Do you like the hair?
05:14I love the hair.
05:15Do you like the hair?
05:17I don't know if I like the hair.
05:19I don't know if I like the hair.
05:19I don't know if I like the hair.
05:20So cute.
05:22Wow.
05:23When I first put it on, I was like, oh.
05:25But then once it's all on.
05:27Yeah.
05:27I was like, you know what?
05:28It's kind of a good hair.
05:29Do you like it?
05:30I mean, yeah.
05:31Would you wear it again?
05:36I mean, if I was going to like the right function.
05:39Yeah.
05:40Yeah.
05:40I mean, like Nate, I'm going to like society.
05:42It's like LGBT, South Asian society.
05:45So it'll be good for that.
05:46I also got the fit for that.
05:47You look so handsome.
05:48Awesome.
05:50I'm not going to joke you.
05:51Thanks, Crowley's.
05:52Oh, I love you guys.
05:55I think he looks really sweet.
05:57Like, I've never seen him in this outfit before.
06:00Like, it's usually him.
06:01I like to see him in my crop tops that I've just bought.
06:03Yeah.
06:04No shade.
06:08So yeah, actually, the colour looks really, really nice on the day.
06:11Yeah.
06:11I do like the colour.
06:12I feel like it looks good with my skin, the colour.
06:14Yeah, it really does.
06:15It really, really does.
06:16I like this.
06:17I feel like we're not really seeing, like, tap into your culture.
06:19Mitch and Terry's your wife.
06:22Yeah.
06:22Yeah, it's very true.
06:24Yeah, yeah.
06:24It's you two, honestly.
06:25I feel great now that I've reclaimed my culture and I'm in these Asian clothes.
06:29Like, this is still, me being gay doesn't change that.
06:31I'm Pakistani.
06:32Do you know what I mean?
06:33Like, I'm going to still be the lovely fusion that I am.
06:38Do you know what I mean?
06:38So yeah, I'm gassed.
06:40I quite like it.
06:40The thing I love about you is, you take something and you make it your own.
06:44But you make it work.
06:45You know what I mean?
06:46Like, you can still be gay and represent your culture, represent, you know, your background
06:511000%.
06:51Because you look...
06:52You sound very handsome.
06:54But you've still got that little spark of you in there.
06:57Thanks, Bukin.
06:58I love it.
06:58I love you.
06:59And I love you too.
07:00I love you, Adil, can literally, like I'm saying before, if you makes anything work,
07:04he will strut a runway anywhere in anything.
07:08I love you, girl.
07:09Love you.
07:11I actually weren't expecting them to, like, love it as much as they did.
07:14And the fact that I have, like, no makeup on and my hair, I was really, like, weirded
07:19out by my hair but they loved it, so...
07:21I loved their reaction, and I'm actually excited to wear my Asian clothes.
07:27This experience has taught me that I don't actually need to always have make-up on.
07:31It doesn't matter that I'm gay, like I can still be like Pakistani and still, you know,
07:36like dress in Asian clothes and embrace the culture.
07:39I'm joining the society. I'm going today, which will be good.
07:42It's a South Asian LGBTQ society. So I'm excited to do that.
07:46And yeah, cheers for playing with the outfit, guys.
07:49Hey guys, so I am back from, you know, my LGBTQ society that I went to.
07:53It went really well. I met loads of the South Asian gay people like myself.
07:59I met a few Muslims as well, like people who were obviously gay.
08:03I was gay and obviously that's the background I came out from.
08:06So yeah, it was really nice actually meeting other people like me.
08:10And yeah, it went really well.
08:12So yeah, I have a couple of new friends who are just like me. Period.
08:27It's up.
08:27You
