A police woman, expert and instructor in martial arts, leaves the city to stay with her dad, sheriff in a town with peace and quiet or so she thinks. She gets plenty opportunities to show her martial arts skills.

China O'Brien; big city police woman; martial arts trainer, is forced to hand in her badge and head home to her father and the small town where she grew up. The peaceful town she knew is now struggling against the clutches of organized crime. When her father, the town sheriff, is killed China decides to run for his position and clean up the town.

11:28Ah, shit! Your ass is mine!
11:49Ah! Ah!
12:07We're all going to town.
12:11Now, Sheriff, you were telling me that this man, uh...
12:15You know who he is, Your Honor. We all know he works for Summers.
12:18Your Honor, my client has been subject to harassment by Sheriff O'Brien,
12:21who, without a warrant or any proper authorization,
12:24entered private property and held him at gunpoint.
12:27How do you answer that, Sheriff?
12:29Your Honor, the accused here today is Ballard, and not me.
12:33When I went to question Ballard regarding the charges bought by Jake Carnes,
12:37he refused to cooperate, and his men attacked me.
12:40I demand that he be charged.
12:42The Sheriff has clearly overstepped his authority.
12:44Gentlemen...
12:47Sheriff O'Brien, uh...
12:49It appears that you have overstepped those restraints
12:52that are so important to the rule of law.
12:56The court must offer some...
13:00recourse to our citizens for the abusive treatment
13:03received from overly zealous policemen.
13:06The prisoner is released on his own recognizance.
13:08Thank you, Your Honor.
13:11That's wrong, Your Honor.
13:12I know the difference between right and wrong, Sheriff.
13:15I don't need any assistance from you, or instructions.
13:19One more word, and I'll hold you in contempt.
13:22It would be wise of you in the future to closely consider your acting on impulse.
13:28It would be well within Mr. Ballard's right to bring charges against you of false imprisonment.
13:33Do I make myself clear?
13:35Yes, Your Honor.
13:38One more thing.
13:40Ms. O'Brien.
13:42Yes, Your Honor.
13:44Word travels quickly in a small town.
13:46No reputation precedes you.
13:50However, be advised, as a private citizen and not an officer of the law,
13:57you have overstepped your boundaries.
13:59You have no authority to act on behalf of the Sheriff.
14:02And if I hear of you doing so again,
14:05I'll take the appropriate measures to see you put behind bars.
14:09Do I make myself clear?
14:12Perfectly.
14:13Good.
14:16What do we have next?
14:19I'm going to go first.
14:23Someone's got that judge by the balls.
14:25Man, pardon my French.
14:27Next time I catch Ballard, cut my timber, I'll blow his head off.
14:29Don't do anything foolish, Jake.
14:34I don't know how you can deal with this situation.
14:36You can't operate effectively if the judicial system doesn't back you up.
14:41Now, I may have to call in a federal team.
14:44Can you prove that Ballard works for Summers?
14:47Well, we have to dig through the records of all those dummy corporations.
14:51I think I can.
14:53Well, I have to check in at the office.
14:55See you at home.
14:56Bye.
15:02Well, Marty, Tyler.
15:04Afternoon, sir.
15:05How'd it go in court?
15:07Not brilliantly.
15:09Sorry about that.
15:25You better close the door.
15:29You better close the door.
15:39I'll cut my credibility one more time.
15:42I can't blame Jake for wanting to take the law into his own hands.
15:57We've lost control, John.
15:59He's been drifting away from us.
16:01I think we'll have to get the feds involved.
16:03You know, I have the name of an agent assaulting.
16:05I should go up there tomorrow and see him.
16:08Yeah, what's been going on?
16:10Why'd you just call him?
16:14I'm not sure what I trust anymore.
16:17I'll leave first thing in the morning.
16:19Okay.
16:29Those were great years.
16:34Tyler's driving to Salt Lake tomorrow.
16:37We need some help to crack this thing open.
16:39You feel it's a defeat to calling the feds, don't you?
16:42Well, they don't give medals for calling in the cavalry.
16:45They give the medals to the cavalry.
16:48You know, you really know how to handle yourself.
16:52I didn't mention after that fight, but you're very good.
16:58Lots of training.
17:00Yeah, but you were always serious about that stuff, even as a kid.
17:04But now, well, it's even scary.
17:08Well, there's a lot more to it than just learning the moves.
17:10I've also been teaching.
17:15Hello?
17:18Yes, this is it.
17:26Have you called the fire department?
17:28Well, call them as soon as I hang up.
17:30What's your address?
17:31I'll come right away.
17:32I'll see you later.
17:33I'll see you later.
17:33Bye.
