00:00In this video, we will learn about reciprocal pronouns.
00:06Reciprocal pronouns are used to express a mutual relationship between performers.
00:13In other words, they are used to refer to a situation where someone or something performs an action on others
00:21and receives the same action in return.
00:23There are two reciprocal pronouns in English. They are each other and one another.
00:31We use each other when we want to express mutual relationship between two performers.
00:38For example, Tom and Alice know each other and that means Tom knows Alice and Alice knows Tom.
00:48However, we use one another when we want to express mutual relationship between three or more performers.
00:55For example, Tom, Alice and Jeff know one another and that means Tom knows Alice and Jeff and Alice knows
01:04Tom and Jeff and Jeff knows Tom and Alice.
01:09Now, it's time for us to practice.

01:54There were so many people on the street, they were bumping to one another.
02:00In this sentence, we say one another because again, we are talking about too many people.
02:07Mary and her sister live in different cities.
02:10They don't often see each other.
