00:07Top four!
00:08Jesus!
00:09Let's see what your boyfriend wrote.
00:11Oh my God.
00:12Lemon is gone.
00:13We had so, so, so many good moments together.
00:16To my top four, I love you.
00:18I'm proud of you.
00:19And I'll probably be sad for about two minutes.
00:23And you are all dumb and ugly.
00:27XOXO, Lemon.
00:28What a sweetheart.
00:30We'll see you in the fruit drawer.
00:32Lemon was not only one of my best friends here,
00:35but she was my fiercest competition.
00:37So, it's like now that Lemon's gone.
00:40My bitch.
00:43There's so much room on these couches.
00:47Jimbo and I wouldn't know.
00:48And I hope that we don't ever have to find out.
00:50But what was it like to lip-sync for the first time in the competition?
00:53Well, just to state the fact you don't know about winning either.
00:55So, okay.
00:56Let's continue this conversation.
00:57Pardon me.
01:01We are on week nine.
01:02And I haven't won anything.
01:04But I haven't been in the bottom.
01:04I haven't been in the bottom team.
01:06And I haven't had to lip-sync yet.
01:09So...
01:10Hmm.
01:10Well, guess what?
01:12I got my pre-demption!
01:14Yeah!
01:14Pre-demption!
01:15Oh!
01:16My!
01:17God!
01:18My second win.
01:19You have three.
01:20Yeah.
01:20Two.
01:21One.
01:22None!
01:23Okay, I get it.
01:24I'm the underdog.
01:24I'm nobody's threat.
01:25But I haven't been in the bottom twice.
01:28We gotta get in a drag that.
01:29It's top four right now.
01:31Which means that we have one chance out of four to win the grand prize.
01:35And now I'm feeling the pressure.
01:37There's no room for mistake.
01:40This is my moment.
01:45The winner of Canada's Drag Race receives a year of hotel stays from Hilton.
01:50And a cash prize of $100,000.
01:53With Jeffrey Boyer Chapman, Stacey McKenzie, and Brooklyn Heights.
01:58With tonight's extra special guest host, Michelle Visage.
02:09The winner of Canada's Drag Race is the winner of Canada's Drag Race.
02:11New day in the workroom, and the top four is in the house.
02:15Oh, you're like a tornado.
02:16A leather tassel tornado.
02:17We are feeling fabulous.
02:19We are feeling fierce.
02:20Where'd the other duels go?
02:22Another day, another duel gone.
02:24And some of us are feeling very competitive.
02:27I can't believe there's four of us left.
02:28This is so crazy.
02:30Is that crazy that one of us is gonna win $100,000?
02:32I will be.
02:34Going home this week?
02:35No, I'm the winner.
02:37At this point, my biggest competition is Priyanka and Rita.
02:41I can't wait to knock another one of these bitches out of the competition on my way to the top.
02:46Oh, my God.
02:47Oh, Canada.
02:49She did already have her.
02:52Hail, Queens.
02:53Yeah.
02:54I hope you're having an arctic blast.
02:56Because the more you snow, the more you blow.
03:00Oh.
03:01And in this competition, the winner takes squall.
03:06Bonjour, bonjour, bonjour.
03:09Come on, ponytail.
03:10Right?
03:11Right?
03:12Giddy up.
03:12Right?
03:13Look at the body, though.
03:14Hello, lady.
03:15Who does she think she is today?
03:17Final Four.
03:19Very soon, one of you Queens will become Canada's first ever drag superstar.
03:24It feels amazing.
03:25I'm so excited.
03:26Your goal is to be the last queen standing.
03:28And if you want to go the distance, you have to pull out all the stops.
03:33Today's mini challenge will test you.
03:36No.
03:37It will screen test you.
03:39What do you mean?
03:39She's talking about screen tests.
03:40We're talking about screen tests.
03:41And to run the screen test, we've called in writer, producer, and comedian, Sabrina Jalise.
03:50Hello, queen.
03:51Hi.
03:53Sabrina Jalise, comedy writer extraordinaire.
03:56It's me, Rosario Dawson.
03:59Sabrina Jalise.
04:00Work.
04:01Welcome to Canada's Drag Race, Sabrina girl.
04:04Welcome to being in love with me, Stacey.
04:05Oh, my gosh.
04:06Ooh.
04:07I read energy.
04:09I know you're a busy beaver in LA.
04:10Okay.
04:11What could you tell the ladies about this screen test?
04:12First of all, living and working in Los Angeles is dope.
04:15I'm swimming with Rihanna.
04:17I'm shopping with Beyonce.
04:18I'm flossing with Timothee Chalamet.
04:21But my heart belongs to Canada.
04:23And nothing gets me going like a powerful rendition.
04:26No.
04:26Of the national anthem.
04:28Yes.
04:29Yes.
04:30So today, I'm putting on my producer's hat and casting for the role of local singer in a fictional project
04:35I'm calling,
04:36Oh, she better, Canada.
04:39Okay.
04:40Queens, I'm looking for a scene stealer.
04:41A lady who can bring down the house while making the country rise to its feet, then fall to its
04:47knees.
04:47Oh, shit.
04:48Do you know anyone like that?
04:49Ooh.
04:50Listen, you better stand on guard for she.
04:52Because a queen who has the best and funniest audition wins.
04:56You have 20 minutes to get into local chanteuse quick drag.
04:58That's a French word.
04:59And we'll meet you on set.
05:01Ready?
05:01Go.
05:04All right.
05:06It's time for natural beauty.
05:08We have 20 minutes to get into quick drag.
05:11Can I borrow a pair of your tits, Jimbo?
05:13We have to sing the national anthem.
05:16It's chaotic.
05:17I just did my hair today and now I gotta wear a hairnet.
05:20The result is always the same.
05:21I look like, you know, my third time in drag.
05:24But maybe I'll do good.
05:26We'll see about that.
05:31Oh, wow.
05:33Hello, young lady.
05:34I'm applying for your song truce or whatever it's called.
05:38Wow, so nice in here.
05:40And who do we have here?
05:41Hi, I'm Scarlet Bobo.
05:43Your dress has a bit of a built-in wardrobe malfunction.
05:46Oh, there's no malfunction in this wardrobe.
05:48Hi.
05:49Hi.
05:49Tell us your name.
05:50My name is Priyanka.
05:51I'm so glad you were able to come here and audition.
05:53You really dressed up for it.
05:55I feel Canadian.
05:56You must be cold.
05:58Freezing.
05:58My name is Rita Vaga.
06:00I'm a famous singer from Boucherville.
06:02I love Boucherville.
06:03Yeah.
06:04Just in the dead winter, I love Boucherville.
06:06Mm-hmm.
06:06All right.
06:07I'm gonna let you sing in a moment.
06:09But when I raise my hand, it just means that I have a note.
06:11Okay.
06:11So please stop.
06:12Hear my direction.
06:13Incorporate it.
06:14And take it away.
06:16Oh, Canada.
06:19Our home had never belonged.
06:22True.
06:23Pay.
06:24True love.
06:25If you were the stars from the wind.
06:30What?
06:32It's obvious that you have gorgeous vocal range.
06:34But for the purpose of this audition, could you sing it as flat as possible?
06:38Fine.
06:38Thanks for being such a good sport.
06:39Oh, Canada.
06:42Terre de nos aïeux.
06:45I'd like a little more fear.
06:47You're in a huge stadium.
06:49You're scared.
06:50You're scared for your life.
06:52That's the vibe.
06:53And I want you to start again.
06:54Oh, Canada.
06:57We see the world.
07:00Oh, Canada.
07:01Oh, Canada!
07:09You have a question?
07:10What I'd really like to see from you is an angry version.
07:13Like right now.
07:14I'm really mad because you can't stop by interrupting me.
07:17Oh, Canada!
07:23Oh, Canada!
07:24Oh, Canada!
07:24Yeah, girl!
07:26Gloria!
07:32I'm just stopping you mostly because I feel like you're putting a hex on us.
07:35I'd like you to go back to the Patriot Love and the Sons Command knowing that the Patriot is your
07:40ex-husband and your son's not talking to you.
07:42True Patriot Love and all my sons command!
07:47You're just like your goddamn daddy!
07:50A version with some tongue pops.
07:52Oh, Canada!
07:54Oh, Canada!
07:55Give me a version where it sounds like you're underwater.
08:05I'd love to see some vocal range.
08:08Ooh, Patriot Love!
08:11Sons Command!
08:16Ooh!
08:17Ooh!
08:18Ooh!
08:18Ooh!
08:19Ooh!
08:19Ooh!
08:20Ooh!
08:21And a little bit lower.
08:22Ooh!
08:23Ooh!
08:24The fastest version possible.
08:26Oh, Canada!
08:27Oh, Canada!
08:28Oh, Canada!
08:28Oh, Canada!
08:28Oh, Canada!
08:29Oh, Canada!
08:31Straight into the slowest version.
08:33Just cheese on a poutine.
08:35Mmm, poutine.
08:36Oh, Canada!
08:40Louder?
08:41Oh, Canada!
08:42But slow!
08:43Oh, Canada!
08:45Oh, Canada!
08:47Oh, Canada!
08:55Oh, Canada!
08:56Oh, Canada!
08:56Oh, Canada!
08:57Oh, Canada!
08:58Oh, Canada!
08:58Oh, Canada!
08:59Oh, Canada!
08:59Oh, Canada!
09:00Oh, Canada!
09:01Oh, Canada!
09:02Oh, Canada!
09:07Oh, Canada!
09:10Oh, Canada!
09:13Oh, Canada!
09:19All right, so we've seen all we've needed to see. Thank you so much.
09:23How much did you like me though?
09:25Let's just say we saw all of your stuff.
09:28Thank you!
09:29Thank you!
09:30I'm not sure you're in the running for this, but you have been entered in the Westminster dog ship.
09:36All right, let's get security.
09:40Ladies, that was something.
09:42My ears will never be the same again, and neither will the anthem.
09:46But one of you was pitch perfect.
09:48The winner of the mini challenge is...
09:52Rita Bega!
09:54Oh!
09:55Congratulations!
09:56Thank you!
09:56You've won a $1,000 gift certificate, courtesy of Dirt Squirrel.
10:01I won the mini challenge! It's my first win on a mini challenge.
10:05And who did that?
10:07I did.
10:09Now, if the anthem was a pre-game show, get ready for the main event.
10:14It's going to be...
10:16A ball!
10:17Yes!
10:19We love a ball!
10:21We're having a ball!
10:24Oh, we made it to the ball, girl!
10:26For this semi-final maxi challenge, you have to harness all your charisma, uniqueness, nerve, and talent, and bring it
10:33to the snowball.
10:34Yes!
10:36We want to see three different looks, hot enough to melt a deep freeze.
10:41Hashtag Canada's Drag Race.
10:44Your first category serves C.E. Ho in executive holiday party realness.
10:51Yes!
10:51Next category.
10:53Apre de apresqui.
10:54The icy walk of shame.
10:56Yes!
10:58Story of my life.
10:59And the final category.
11:02Oh, pit crew!
11:05Uh-oh.
11:07Damn.
11:10Oh, I love my job.
11:15For your final look, you'll be serving your best ice queen eleganza.
11:19Oh.
11:20Please don't make this a swine challenge.
11:21Please, please, please, please, please, please, please.
11:23Which you'll have to make from scratch.
11:25Ah!
11:26For this challenge, you can use your own heels and wigs, fabric from the Fabricland wall, plus jewels from LAG
11:32Concepts, and any of these wintry items that the pit crew brought in.
11:36Speaking of pit crew, you may go.
11:38Fine.
11:41Gentlemen, start your engines.
11:43And may the best woman win.
11:47Yes, girl.
11:48Ah!
11:49Ding, ding, ding, ding, ding.
11:51She wants icicles.
11:53Take me some of those.
11:54The theme for this ball is the snowball.
11:58Oh, this is cute.
11:59First category is holiday C.E. Ho.
12:03The second look is apres.
12:04The apres be the icy walk of shame.
12:06Ooh!
12:07And the final category is ice queen eleganza.
12:11Y'all want a hat?
12:12This category is very important because it's the look that you're going to be in when the judges decide if
12:16you have what it takes to make it to the finale.
12:18And guess what?
12:19We have to make it from scratch.
12:21I could cut this tension with a knife.
12:24Can I steal some of that?
12:25No, sorry.
12:26I love you, but I need $100,000.
12:29Ha, ha, ha.
12:33My sisters, they are fierce competition.
12:36Bobo is really punk rock, gothy.
12:39Look at these.
12:43Priyanka is glamour, you know, a pop star.
12:46Look, I made a panty.
12:48Jimbo is extravagant and fashion-forward.
12:52My look is not subtle, it's not discreet and very loud.
12:56So, we are four different people with four different styles.
13:00So, I have to bring my best to, you know, put this crown on top of my hair.
13:07I'm working on my final look, which is Beyonce inspired.
13:11My designing abilities, I'm okay.
13:14But when it comes to sewing, sewing is really hard.
13:17So, I'm literally going to glue anything I could find to this corset.
13:21Because I got to hide the fact that I'm just wearing a corset.
13:25I need more snowflakes.
13:26Oh, I could use some of this for some texture.
13:27Oh my god, and these too.
13:29Priyanka is like just gluing shit to a corset.
13:33That's not going to get you into this finale, honey.
13:36Tropical Christmas.
13:37I'm just going to embellish the fuck out of it and sell it.
13:40Merry Christmas.
13:45Have you ever been to an Apre ski party before?
13:47No.
13:48Wow.
13:50When was the last time you saw a POC at the ski hill, bitch?
13:53No.
13:54It's the most amazing party.
13:56That's why people behave here.
13:59Oh my god, this is major.
14:01I'm so excited to have made it to a drag race ball.
14:05This is literally gay Christmas.
14:07This is so major.
14:09We have a limited time to make extravaganza looks for the runway.
14:15But I have zero sewing experience.
14:18I kind of want to like go as like Viking, like some sexy Christmas Viking.
14:24So Jimbo.
14:25Yeah?
14:25If I wanted to just make this into a shawl, could I potentially just like, and cut a hole here?
14:32You're not going to have your shoulder.
14:33You'll just have a big bag.
14:37Huh?
14:38Bubba doesn't know much about costume design and I know that she gets stressed out and I don't want her
14:43to flip out.
14:45I don't know what the fuck I'm doing.
14:47Ugh.
14:48It would be worse for me not to help at this point.
14:51The cape is made into four pieces.
14:52But there's only one piece of fur.
14:54Yeah, but you cut the one piece into four pieces.
14:56There is no four pieces.
14:57This is four pieces.
14:59It's your two center back and the front is cut here.
15:02Four pieces.
15:03And if I only have one piece of fur?
15:04No, if you have one piece of fur, you cut your one piece of fur into four pieces.
15:09Huh?
15:11You just spoke a totally different language.
15:13I hate this.
15:14I'm not a seamstress.
15:15This is hard.
15:18Sucks.
15:23I'm back.
15:24Hey.
15:25Hello.
15:26Did you miss me?
15:27Yeah.
15:28Duh.
15:29You better.
15:30Oh.
15:32Hi, Miss Bega.
15:33Hello.
15:34You've won the last two design challenges.
15:36I'm sure you're feeling the pressure even more now.
15:38I'm still heading to the crown, so it's one challenge at a time.
15:42I go week by week.
15:44Has it surprised you being in the final four?
15:46I'm very humble, but I'm not surprised because I've been very focused since the beginning.
15:51It might be seen as, you know, being quiet, but at the same time it helps me to really focus
15:56on the goal and to respect the challenges.
15:58Tell me about this ice cream eleganza you're making.
16:01I'm going for a high fashion punk look, but still queen-esque.
16:06Why the punk look?
16:07It suits me well, I think.
16:08So I'm trying to respect the objective and the goals of this challenge, but to make it my own.
16:13So what would winning mean to you?
16:14I'll be the very first French speaking to win.
16:17It's also the result of 13 years of hard work.
16:20You know, I really do appreciate all the different things you told me that I should work on.
16:25You know, not standing like this and try to focus and think about hot dogs when I walk so it
16:30makes me look happy.
16:31Think about the hot dogs.
16:33Yeah.
16:33I'm a hot dog lover.
16:35Anyways, that's another story.
16:36All right.
16:36Get back to work.
16:40Hi, Priyanka.
16:41How are you feeling?
16:42To be a part of a ball is an honor.
16:44We all want to be a part of the ball.
16:45True, true.
16:46Are you surprised sitting here?
16:47It was a little rocky.
16:48I had really high highs, really low lows.
16:51Having low moments in this competition, it messes with you.
16:53I came from a background of like improv.
16:56So imagine to my surprise when I bombed both of the improv challenges in this competition.
17:02That must have messed with your head big time.
17:04Luckily, this competition is a playground to grow because from that I grew so much.
17:08Pat yourself on the back for that.
17:09And the front.
17:10And the front.
17:12What would winning mean to you?
17:13It would be everything.
17:14You know, I worked two jobs for a long time.
17:16I was like hosting kids TV during the day and then at night I'd be turning up at the clubs
17:20as Priyanka.
17:21I left my kids TV job to do drag full time.
17:24So it would be life changing.
17:26It really, really would.
17:27But also representing, you know, our queer POCs.
17:30I want to take all that money and put on great shows for them too, you know?
17:32Yeah.
17:32So that's why I'm making it to the final four and that much closer to the finale is like...
17:38Oh, I can just feel it.
17:39I can taste it.
17:39The hard work is paying off.
17:40Yes, it is.
17:41Tell me about your Ice Queen Elgan, the outfit.
17:43This is going to be covered and then we're going to have a giant skirt and a jewel.
17:48But I don't want to tell you everything because I don't want you to be surprised.
17:50Yeah, yeah, don't tell me anything.
17:51All right, I'll leave you to it.
17:53I look forward to seeing you on the runway.
17:55Hi, Bobo.
17:56How are you feeling?
17:57It's been a really weird experience.
17:59I came in with a solid plan and, you know, walking through those doors, everything kind of like switched around
18:05on me because, you know, you don't know what to expect.
18:07Well, listen, you're here in the final four.
18:10That fire that got lit under you, you really ran with it.
18:12So whatever you're doing, you're doing it well.
18:14But, you know, it's still a competition and there still has to be one winner.
18:17So what are you going to do different this time around?
18:19I'm not going to hold back anything.
18:20There was times I was like, oh, maybe I shouldn't put that on or maybe I should take that off.
18:23And I'm just going to my gut this time because at this point, there's no other option.
18:27I want to ask you something.
18:28What kind of work have you done in the community?
18:30I try to use my platform as much as I can.
18:32And I've always made sure to give not just drag queens, non-binary performers, alternative queens, drag kings.
18:37I've just been trying to give more back because when I started, I didn't have that kind of chance.
18:42It's really good that you're helping your community and helping others so early because it would truly make a difference.
18:47I had a really shitty childhood growing up.
18:50And, you know, drag was the only thing that made me feel like I took up space and that was
18:54important.
18:55There's no rules.
18:56There's no walls.
18:56There's no limits.
18:57You can be who you are.
18:58You can be as weird as you want, as glamorous as you want, as freaky as you want.
19:02And you can do that all in the same night if you wanted to.
19:05Drag is just beautiful.
19:06All the best.
19:07I love you.
19:07And see you on the stage call.
19:08I'll see you tomorrow.
19:10Alrighty.
19:12Hi, Jumbo.
19:12Stacy, how are you?
19:14How are you feeling?
19:15Great.
19:15Yeah, I'm really excited.
19:16I have some really good looks that you are going to love.
19:20Oh, nice.
19:20I'm going to make a gown that hugs my body and hugs your minds.
19:25Has this surprised you being in the top four?
19:27No.
19:28Did I hope to be in the top four?
19:30Yes.
19:31And do I hope to win?
19:32Definitely.
19:33Yeah, I hope to win this entire competition.
19:35What are your goals with your drag?
19:37I'm a clown at my root.
19:39I don't really do a lot of rehearsing.
19:41It's all about surprise.
19:43Jumbo is who I am in the world.
19:44So really for me it's mostly about characterization and pushing the boundaries through storytelling
19:50and costuming.
19:51I'm going to leave you to continue.
19:54You don't want to help?
19:55I'm a model.
19:55I wear the clothes.
19:56I don't make it.
19:58Ladies, gather around.
20:01Tomorrow on the main stage you will walk the runway in all three categories where we'll
20:05be joined by an extra, extra special guest host whose Visage you may recognize.
20:11No.
20:13Drag race legend, Michelle Visage.
20:16What?
20:17What?
20:17That's crazy.
20:19It's Michelle Visage.
20:23Oh my God.
20:25So cool.
20:27Michelle Visage, she sits on the panel beside RuPaul.
20:31She knows what it takes to win this competition.
20:33Do you know what I'm going to say?
20:34I know.
20:34Sorry.
20:35It's either a leotard or a corset and a panty and I'm getting bored.
20:39If she doesn't like something, you're going home.
20:43Ladies, I have only one thing to say to you.
20:45What?
20:46Good luck and don't fuck it up.
20:50See you on the runway.
20:51Bye.
20:55I don't know how I'm going to handle this.
20:59I'm absorbing the news.
21:01It's like extra pressure.
21:03Holy shit.
21:05This is next level.
21:06I'm spinning out.
21:07Yeah.
21:08Spin right out.
21:09Watch out, bitch.
21:10Shady bitch.
21:11The workroom feels a little bit crazy.
21:13We have three looks on the go and nothing can go wrong.
21:16The stakes are so fucking high now.
21:19It's crazy.
21:20I have to win this.
21:22What is happening with the Jakey ass talking machine?
21:25Ugh.
21:25Oh no.
21:26What did I do?
21:27I think Bobo should be worried about this design challenge because you have to know how to sew.
21:33Mm-hmm.
21:34I broke.
21:36And you know, she don't.
21:38What did I do?
21:42Ugh.
21:43I'm freaking out.
21:45What the fuck?
21:47Cueing mental breakdown in five.
21:49What am I doing?
21:55Top four in the house.
21:57Woo, woo, woo, woo, woo.
21:58Top four.
21:59Okay, we got Michelle Visage in the house today.
22:02Yeah, yeah.
22:03Oh my God.
22:04We get to show her how Canadian girls do it, honey, and it's freezing out.
22:07It's cold.
22:08It's a new day in the workroom.
22:10It's pretty much unbelievable that we are only four girls, so I'm really feeling the pressure.
22:15The stakes are high.
22:16Are you stressing out?
22:17If I lip sync tonight, it's my third time, which means...
22:21Yeah, you should do it.
22:22Oh.
22:22No, I don't plan on being in the bottom.
22:25I think you two, it's your moment.
22:27Rita and I, it's your time to shine.
22:30No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.
22:31Shut up.
22:32Less talking, more working.
22:34Let's have a ball.
22:35Let's have a ball.
22:44Woo!
22:48Can you tell me if it's okay?
22:49Yeah, you're done.
22:51Yes?
22:52I'm being a shady hoe.
22:53You're not done.
22:55There you go.
22:56You want me to do your ass too for you?
22:57No.
22:59I have spider web.
23:00She freaky.
23:05Do you have anyone really rooting for you at home?
23:09For me?
23:10My mom.
23:11How about you?
23:11Who's rooting for you?
23:13My dad is really my number one fan.
23:15No way!
23:15Yeah.
23:16When he talks to another person about me, I can see that he's really proud.
23:20My dad has always been there for me, and he's my number one fan.
23:24So every time I have a big show, he's there.
23:26Does he tell you he loves you and stuff?
23:28Yep.
23:29And with a deep hug.
23:30And he speaks so slowly.
23:33That's amazing.
23:34Je t'aime mon garçon.
23:36But that's funny because he's the CEO of a construction company,
23:39so you don't expect him to be this much open, you know?
23:42So I'm very happy and proud to have him as my dad.
23:46That's so cool.
23:48Bubble, how about you?
23:50Um, I think my mom.
23:52My mom is my best friend.
23:54Yeah, she had to be like my mom and my dad and everything in between when I was younger.
23:59Growing up, my stepdad was a raging alcoholic.
24:02I would watch him, you know, beat my mom on a daily basis.
24:07That was really hard for me because I was the oldest,
24:08and I wanted to, you know, protect her, and I couldn't.
24:21She's like the strongest person I know.
24:23She put herself through hell and back just so we could have a good life,
24:28and made me feel important and like I mattered.
24:31I just literally want to win this so I can take care of her for the rest of my life.
24:35Jimbo, how about you?
24:36Who do I have rooting for me?
24:37I have people of Vancouver Island I hope are all rooting for me.
24:40Everyone in DC and then Kitchener Waterloo and all the people of London.
24:45Probably fans across Canada.
24:46So probably just a few thousand people or something.
24:49I don't think you got the question right.
24:51Yeah.
24:51Can we get a rewrite of the question please for Jimbo?
24:54Have any of you guys walked in a ball before?
24:56I walked in a ball once.
24:58Do you know what was the theme of the ball?
25:00What?
25:02Winter ball.
25:03Shut up.
25:04And I won best dress.
25:06The ballroom scene celebrates all types of gender expressions,
25:10all types of bodies, all types of skin colors.
25:13You think you're going to do it again Rita?
25:14Tonight?
25:15Yeah.
25:16We'll see.
25:16These balls were a place where queer people of color could reclaim signifiers
25:21of white privileges in general and could feel safe.
25:25Categories like executive realness gave queer people of color the space
25:28to play the part of what white people were doing
25:30because they couldn't get those jobs back then.
25:32These were job positions that were not allowed for people of color in general.
25:36All the terms that we are using in this show and just in our common language
25:40drag terms like shade, surf, eleganza, sickening.
25:46It all comes from the ballroom culture.
25:48Ball culture is about community, diversity, and togetherness.
25:52So it's just really beautiful.
25:53It's just fierce.
25:54Like everyone is just like so full of love.
25:58I'm excited for this ball.
26:00Jimbo, how about you?
26:01I like my looks but I'm nervous about my makeup.
26:05It's not what I had in mind and I don't like how I look and there's nothing I can do
26:08at this point.
26:09I don't know what to do.
26:10I look hideous.
26:11Oh no.
26:14You could run but you can't hide from Michelle Visage.
26:16Okay, stay calm.
26:17Everything is fine.
26:20It's literally the road to the finale.
26:22So whatever we throw on ourselves needs to look like you have what it takes to be the winner of
26:27this entire competition.
26:53And what?
26:55Yay!
26:56Welcome to the main stage of Canada's Drag Race.
26:59I'm your guest host Michelle Visage and I am so excited to be here.
27:03Angel Jeffrey Boyer Chapman, this jacket is gorgeous.
27:07Thank you my love.
27:09This is the front and this is the back.
27:15And supermodel Stacy McKenzie, how do you like the snow?
27:19Michelle girl, just like how I like my men.
27:21Freshly powdered and machine groomed.
27:24Yes, we like a groomed man.
27:25Miss Brooklyn Heights looking fantastic on that side of the runway.
27:29Are you ready for this snow?
27:30Absolutely.
27:31I got nine inches last night.
27:34This week the queens were challenged to serve three looks on the runway in the snowball.
27:40I've been waiting a long time to do this.
27:42Gentlemen, start your engines and may the best woman win.
27:47Category is Executive Holiday Party Realness.
27:51First up, Jimbo.
27:54This CEO means business.
27:56I am ready to party and ready to share my goods with all the employees.
28:01Everyone's lining up for this pink slip.
28:03She should try a shoulder pad next time.
28:07The 80s looked like a really good time.
28:09They were.
28:11Next is Rita Baga.
28:13It's the end of the fiscal year realness.
28:16She has perfect hunty hunty vision.
28:18She has bill to pay, so let's strut the runway and get the fuck out.
28:24May she rest.
28:25When life gives you lemons, throw shade.
28:30And now, Priyanka.
28:32She is Brenda from Ajax, Ontario and she runs the building.
28:37This bitch still believes in Santa Claus.
28:40I'd like to deck her halls.
28:42She's already been decked, kiddo.
28:44Deep breaths, keep it in.
28:46I can smell that Alfred from here.
28:48I don't know.
28:48It's a little ornamental for me.
28:51And finally, Scarlet Bobo.
28:53Walk in the club gift first.
28:55Bam!
28:56I am working the runway.
28:57I've had way too many cocktails at this stupid party.
29:00And I was about to give everybody their bonuses, but instead I decided to burn all the money.
29:04I love being rich.
29:05Do you have some sort of business woman special?
29:08Ha!
29:09Next category.
29:10Apre the Apre Ski.
29:12The icy walk of shame.
29:14Jimbo.
29:15Ooh!
29:16Y'all like Yeti.
29:17Ooh!
29:18The fantasy is Apre the Apre Ski.
29:21I have partied so hard.
29:23I've wet myself.
29:23I've got toilet paper on my shoe and a condom in my hair.
29:26I've left five parties and I'm headed to five more.
29:29Check out that ski booty.
29:30Funky Brewster, the slutty years.
29:32Oh, that's where my pizza went.
29:35Frida Baga.
29:35Tonight she's serving a mullet fantasy.
29:38The patchouli smell must be making her nauseous.
29:41I don't need to see that!
29:42Give her another take.
29:44She had too many beers, she fell asleep on the couch, and she woke up like this.
29:50Somebody get this lesbian at kombucha stat!
29:53And I, ooh!
29:55And now, Priyanka.
29:57Ah, quilted.
29:58For her pleasure.
29:59She's in shambles, she's still drunk, but she's looking at Jeffrey Boyer Chapman being like,
30:05I have one more round in me, are you in?
30:07I wonder how many dead babies are in her hand.
30:10Guys, is this Canadian fashion, or...?
30:15Scarlet Bobo.
30:17I've got icicles hanging from my hair.
30:19I am giving you Snow Bunny just got pounded and left out in the cold realness.
30:24It's Frosty the Snow Hole.
30:26This is what happens when Elsa drinks too much Patron.
30:29Just let it go, girl.
30:30Just let it go.
30:32Final category is Ice Queen Eleganza.
30:36First up, Jimbo.
30:38I'm feeling like Glenda the Good Bitch in this regal royal realness.
30:42Oh, look at the ice vampire.
30:44How the cinch stole Christmas.
30:46My crown is totally cumbersome and made of crap, and I feel like a real queen.
30:51Get into a hospital, she's crowning.
30:54Next is Rita Baga.
30:56Oh, that's where I left my menorah.
30:58This dress is not easy to walk with, but she's selling it one little step at the time.
31:05The speed limits are slower in Quebec.
31:07Priyanka.
31:08I am giving you Iceberg Titanic sinking fantasy.
31:14Ooh, she went for a polar bear dip.
31:16Look at me!
31:17Covered in bullshit, and this beautiful paper skirt.
31:21They can't even tell it's paper, it's so beautiful.
31:23Is she giving us a cold shoulder?
31:25Snowflake.
31:26And finally, Scarlet Bobo.
31:30I'm giving you Punk Rock Viking Princess.
31:35Wake up, pearls!
31:36Wake up!
31:37I have conquered this competition, bitch, and I am ready to prove to everybody that I'm winning material.
31:47Hello, my Canadian queens.
31:49Hello, Michelle.
31:50Now it's time for the judges' critiques.
31:58Michelle Visage.
31:59What are your thoughts on Jimbo?
32:01That gold jacket was magical.
32:03The fit was beautiful.
32:04The shoulders were ridiculous.
32:06It was beautifully dragged.
32:07A CEO of what company?
32:10I don't know.
32:11Maybe a brothel.
32:13But I had fun with it.
32:15Your second outfit, I really love the bodice.
32:17And I love that you actually went different with the shoes this time.
32:20It wasn't a stiletto heel.
32:21It was a chunky heel.
32:22And you did it over the top, which again is very draggy.
32:26Ice Queen Eleganza.
32:27It would have been nice if you could have walked in it.
32:30It was awkward on the runway.
32:32Also, your headpiece kept almost falling off, so it seemed like you kept fiddling with things the entire time you
32:36were on the runway and you couldn't really properly be there and model the garment.
32:39Yeah, I apologize.
32:40I do have an issue with your makeup being very white as opposed to your body.
32:45Is this a choice that you consciously make?
32:47I just like the way it looks.
32:49Carry it down so it makes sense.
32:51It's like when you tan, bring the tan down.
32:53So just make it match.
32:54Okay.
32:55Next up, Rita Bega.
32:57Bonjour.
32:58Your first look.
32:59I love the character and the energy that you brought to it, but I 100% expected a reveal.
33:07It was all just a little simple.
33:10Your Apreski Walk of Shame, I thought it was hilarious.
33:14It was performance art.
33:15It belonged in a one-woman show.
33:17I don't know about here on the main stage of Drag Race.
33:19You know, we're bottom feeders.
33:21It's just the way that we are.
33:22As for this look tonight, it's so well done, but the fact that you can't walk in it really does
33:28take away from it.
33:29I want to see you stomp this runway.
33:31And unfortunately, in this garment, you were just unable to do so.
33:35I love the ice on the bodice.
33:37One little tip I would give you.
33:38I would have loved if you would have carried that ice look behind the bodice and the back as well.
33:41Because when you're walking away, you can see the sponge.
33:44I love the big shoulder.
33:46I love your eye makeup.
33:47I love the crown.
33:48I wish there was a waist.
33:50You don't have an ass pad in, I take it?
33:52I do have one.
33:53It's really small.
33:53A really easy way to take care of a self-structured corset is to over pad your hips.
33:58Because if you give us more here, it'll make that look smaller by default.
34:02Next up, Priyanka.
34:04Hello.
34:05Okay, the CEO look.
34:07Oh my gosh.
34:08Jokes.
34:08I love Christmas.
34:10Yeah, you do love Christmas.
34:12I mean, everything down to like the Christmas lights around your neck as the necklace.
34:16I got exactly who that woman was and I wanted to party with her.
34:20It was hysterical.
34:21You were just bouncing all over the place, making sure everyone was having a good time.
34:24The second look, I loved the character switch.
34:27You went from so over the top to I'm still drunk and I'm going home but make it fashion.
34:31I've been both those people before.
34:33I must be saying something different because it wasn't my favorite look.
34:36You know, I get that you had a fun night last night, you were still drunk but I didn't quite
34:39know who she was.
34:41Did that make sense?
34:41She was a whore, Jeffrey.
34:42She was a whore.
34:43Got it, got it, got it.
34:44A well-dressed whore.
34:45That makes so much more sense.
34:46Thank you, Michelle.
34:47You're welcome.
34:48I've been a slut for many, many years.
34:50I've done that walk of shame.
34:51Loved the maple leaf on the belt and the tinsel in the hair.
34:54You were fashion but funny and I loved that you were still in character.
34:57That's so important to me, especially as a drag queen, you're selling a product and the product is you.
35:03Give them a show every time, you know, that's what it's about.
35:05The Ice Queen Eleganza, um, that's essentially a bodysuit covered in Christmas ornaments.
35:13And you had trouble walking in that, you kept stepping on it.
35:15Yes.
35:16I was hoping you would have come out very couture-like.
35:19Okay.
35:19Like right now, put your hands on your waist.
35:22Nope, doesn't make it better.
35:25You know I have a pet peeve, and my pet peeve is bodysuits with stuff stuck on it.
35:29Every drag queen in the world, including myself, has a spangly bodysuit.
35:32Because it's easy, you know it'll work, you'll always be a showstopper.
35:36But this is Canada's drag race, so we push a little bit further.
35:39When you came out though, you were really trying to sell it.
35:41I was trying to sell fake DVDs on the corner.
35:44100%.
35:44But the hair, the makeup, carrying it down to your shoulders, that's what you need and you're doing it.
35:49And last but not least, Scarlet Bobo.
35:52What I loved about all your looks in general, is that you brought that Bobo flair to it.
35:57But we never lose you.
35:58So that was really good and really refreshing.
36:00I loved your CEO outfit.
36:02You're the only one that did a full on suit, and it was well made.
36:05It fit you perfectly.
36:06I didn't necessarily get holiday from the CEO look, but you looked spectacular.
36:12Your makeup was beautiful, I loved the hair, it was really well done.
36:15You were just that bitch at the party.
36:17You were like, drinks for everybody.
36:19No one gets their bonuses.
36:19Yeah.
36:21You looked spectacular.
36:22Your après ski moment, again, was a bodysuit, but your curves were ferocious in it.
36:28The rubbery icicles were fun.
36:30Icicles?
36:31Is that what we're calling it?
36:32Yeah.
36:32The icicles.
36:34It was like a bukkake gangbang and then you just got left out of the snow.
36:38That'll get edited out.
36:39Yeah.
36:40Your third look.
36:41I love this.
36:42You're like a rocker white walker.
36:44It's very different to everybody else where you kind of went the rock and roll route and
36:47everybody else went more for glamour.
36:49And this is glamorous.
36:50Yeah.
36:50But in a punk rock type of way.
36:52I enjoyed it.
36:53Thank you very much.
36:54I'm really proud of you tonight.
36:55It's been a slow trajectory for you, but you've kept climbing and you should be very proud
36:59of yourself.
36:59I am.
36:59I've never even looked at a sewing machine.
37:01So I was like really proud of myself tonight.
37:03So thank you.
37:04Thanks.
37:05Before we begin our deliberation, let's take a moment to look back.
37:14Jimbo.
37:15Uh-huh.
37:16What advice would you have for young James?
37:19I would say that you are, oh Christ.
37:26I would say that you are a beautiful, talented, incredible individual.
37:32And to stay strong and to believe in yourself.
37:36And listen to your mom when she says, have the best time and others will join you.
37:43That's beautiful.
37:44Thank you, Jimbo.
37:46Rita Bega, what advice would you have for young Jean-Francois?
37:52Well, I would say, Jean-Francois, be patient.
37:56You will have several lives.
37:59You will start by living with your mom, then your dad, then your mom, then your dad, and
38:05move about 20 times.
38:07But this will not define you.
38:09Just follow your heart.
38:11Know that you are born to be an artist and everything will be smooth and perfect just
38:17for you.
38:19Thank you, Rita.
38:23Priyanka.
38:25Tell me one thing you wish you could say to little Mark.
38:31You're going to have a really hard time growing up because people are going to be really mean
38:36to you.
38:37But I want you to own who you are faster and be unapologetically yourself.
38:44Come out earlier and right now standing there for your first day of school just to go tell
38:50your teacher, Mrs. Gardner, that you was a homo.
38:54Okay?
38:57Just be gay.
39:00That's all I have to say.
39:04Put the picture down, Brooklyn.
39:09Scarlett Bobo.
39:15Oh, my God.
39:16I miss my mom so much.
39:17And to see her right there was really amazing.
39:18What advice would you have for this sweet little Maddie?
39:23I would tell Maddie that your mom is going to be your whole world.
39:28She's going to be your mom, your dad, your best friend.
39:32I would tell him that at times it's going to seem like you want everything to end.
39:39And at times it feels like you could just give up.
39:43And no matter how hard it gets to keep pushing through.
39:49That little face.
39:55Thank you, ladies.
39:56You may untuck in the workroom while we deliberate.
40:00You may leave the stage.
40:09That was intense.
40:10Mm-hmm.
40:11I was so emotional.
40:13Oh, my God.
40:14Yeah.
40:15That was a lot.
40:16Those childhood photos, like, what the hell?
40:18I hate to talk about anything that is emotional in general.
40:22So I was like, oh, no, it's happening for real right now.
40:25How is it to talk to little Mark?
40:27You're such a cute little kid.
40:29My mom gave us all, like, white boy names because she didn't want us to get bullied in school.
40:33Like, my brothers are Steve, Mike, and Chris.
40:35Oh, my God.
40:36Talking to myself as a kid reminded me of all the kids that used to watch me on kids TV.
40:42That same audience now that used to watch me is going to see me on Drag Race.
40:45It's a full, full, full circle moment.
40:47I'm very proud.
40:48This has been such a wild fucking journey.
40:50We're in the fucking top four, man.
40:51And it's just like, it's so cool.
40:53I think you're going to win this one.
40:55It's week nine.
40:56I've gotten my hopes up so many times and I'm like,
40:58I'm so used to not winning anything.
41:01It's become ridiculous.
41:02Am I desperate for a win?
41:04Absolutely.
41:04Am I going to get it?
41:06Who knows?
41:07That was iconic getting critiqued by Michelle Visage.
41:11I was waiting for her to say,
41:12Excuse me, miss.
41:13I think you're in the wrong competition.
41:14Canada's most beautiful whore is being filmed in the other warehouse.
41:18Meanwhile, Michelle Visage is like, what's wrong with your makeup?
41:24Jimbo, like I don't understand this makeup journey because usually your makeup gets better.
41:28Why do you look worse than the first day you walked in the work room?
41:33But I'm in a paper skirt.
41:35So who am I to talk?
41:35I think this is hideous.
41:38Top four.
41:39You show up in this paper ass piece of shit.
41:42With some bullshit glued all up on the side and all around the back.
41:46It's some piece of trash piece of bullshit motherfucker.
41:49Hold this?
41:49Hold my shit.
41:50Oh my God.
41:50I'm so sorry.
41:52Michelle, I'm going to fucking fuck you up right now.
41:54I literally, I don't know what came over.
41:56I don't know what came over.
41:57I never said I was a good design queen.
41:59Are you drunk?
41:59Did you eat today?
42:00She's wasted.
42:00She just drank two of those at once and we haven't eaten.
42:02Were they double?
42:04Oh God, I threw up.
42:05Can you believe it?
42:06This is our last moment together as top four.
42:08It's amazing.
42:09How do you feel about it?
42:10It's just weird just to like after this it's top three and that's like the end.
42:14Is there more vodka?
42:15Can I get a refill?
42:16We're cutting you off.
42:18Michelle Visage doesn't look pretty.
42:20Up here.
42:26Just between us snow angels.
42:28What do you think?
42:29Starting with Jimbo.
42:31I was really disappointed in Jimbo this week, especially because we've gotten such wonderful,
42:35iconic runway looks from her this season so far.
42:37The looks that she used to come with before were very whole couture.
42:40And these three looks for me were just very bland.
42:43And I feel like Jimbo has gotten comfortable.
42:46And this is not the time for her to get comfortable being in the top four.
42:49Every look was just missing some element of polish.
42:52And that's been a constant critique for Jimbo throughout the course of the season.
42:56She messed up.
42:58Moving on to Rita Baga.
42:59There was nothing about that first look that I liked.
43:01I didn't even understand.
43:02I felt like she worked at Costco or something and it just didn't open.
43:06It was very closed off.
43:07It was so dowdy.
43:08And with the pink glasses, it was completely mismatched.
43:10She should have gone camp or she should have gone serious.
43:12Yes, she has a character down, but then she's not bringing the looks.
43:15This is too much.
43:16This is too messy.
43:17And at the end of the day, this is a drag competition.
43:20She's doing drag, so she has to come fully equipped and ready.
43:23When she came out après Ski, I thought it was really funny and really smart.
43:27Is it drag race?
43:28No.
43:29And yet, I would still buy a ticket to go see that show.
43:31I would buy two.
43:32And then the third look, I don't know how many times I've said it to girls.
43:36They need to cinch their waist in or wear bigger hip pads or something to just create that illusion.
43:40Now, as we get further in the world, padding has become a topic of conversation.
43:44But what it does do is takes us as viewers further into the illusion.
43:49Do you have to do it?
43:49No.
43:50Does it help?
43:51On drag race, yeah.
43:52Priyanka.
43:53The first look, so funny and enjoyable.
43:56And I just love watching her, that smile.
43:58Beautiful.
43:59She connects with you.
44:00Oh, yeah.
44:00And she's not afraid to look at you.
44:01Her après Ski was my favorite.
44:04She was drunk as a skunk.
44:05She somehow made a parka into a dress.
44:08And you'd only see that here on Canada's Drag Race.
44:10I bought it hook, line, and sinker.
44:12Ice Queen Eleganza.
44:13The fact that she put paper on a bodysuit and tried to pull it off for an eleganza was a
44:17little bit concerning to me.
44:19The ball is one of the biggest challenges of Drag Race.
44:21And then she comes out in that.
44:23I really can't forgive that outfit.
44:25Scarlet Bobo.
44:26I thought her looks tonight were wonderful.
44:28I love the power suit.
44:29She was a bitchy boss.
44:30And I bought it 100%.
44:32Her après Ski was so fun and so comedic the way she delivered it.
44:36What I really love about Scarlet Bobo is that she stays true to herself.
44:40She owns who she is.
44:41She loves who she is.
44:42And she is not afraid to be who she is.
44:44I think she's peaking at just the right time.
44:47It's a great time to peak.
44:48For her Ice Queen Eleganza, everybody else they hear Eleganza they think,
44:51Oh gown, I need to be regal.
44:53And she came out the way she came out.
44:54Yeah, she took a completely different direction than everyone else did.
44:57And did more of a punk rock Ice Princess, which is so Scarlet Bobo.
45:00She killed it tonight on the runway.
45:02Yep.
45:03Alright, I think we've made a decision.
45:05Bring back our snowflakes.
45:09Definitely the sound of a loon.
45:13Welcome back ladies.
45:15All four of you brought frosty looks tonight.
45:18And we have made some decisions.
45:22Scarlet Bobo, you plowed onto this runway like the hard driving sleet you are.
45:30And girl, you took us on a sleigh ride.
45:36Condragulations.
45:37You are the winner of this week's maxi challenge.
45:40Yes, Bobo!
45:42You won the ball!
45:45I won!
45:47You have won a seven day trip for two to beautiful Vienna.
45:51Courtesy of our friends at Air Canada Vacations.
45:54Oh my God.
45:55Not only did I win the snowball, I wanted Spock in the top three.
45:59This is a huge deal.
46:01Congratulations.
46:03Because the only lip sync this bitch is going to do is a lip sync for the crown.
46:06You may leave the stage.
46:08We will see you in the finale.
46:11Priyanka, tonight you wanted to be the silver bell of the ball.
46:17But did you use enough paper to wrap your presents?
46:22Jimbo, you hit us like a blizzard on the runway.
46:25But did going so over the top leave you snowed under?
46:30Rita Bega, tonight you served chill vibes with your cold front.
46:36But did you do enough to warm our hearts?
46:42Priyanka, you're safe.
46:45I'm ready to the finale!
46:46You did, girl.
46:49You may leave the stage.
46:51I'll never wear paper again, I promise.
46:53Oh my God.
46:54We fucking did it.
46:55We fucking did it, bitch.
46:57We fucking did it.
46:59We fucking did it.
47:00That means Rita Bega and Jimbo.
47:03I'm sorry, my dears, but you are both up for elimination tonight.
47:08Two queens stand before us.
47:11Prior to tonight, you were asked to prepare a lip sync performance of Tegan and Sarah's Closer.
47:18Ladies, this is your last chance to impress us and save yourself from elimination.
47:28The time has come for you to lip sync for your life!
47:39Rita's great.
47:40She's awesome.
47:40But I don't care.
47:41I will stomp on a bitch.
47:46Jimbo, you are my sister and I love you, but this is not your show anymore.
47:50I'm going to be in the top three.
47:53Bye-bye!
47:54Good luck, and don't fuck it up.
47:58All I want to get is, a little bit closer.
48:05All I want to know is, can you come a little closer?
48:11Here comes a breath before we get.
48:15A little bit closer.
48:17Here comes a rush before we touch.
48:21Come a little closer.
48:25The doors are open.
48:27The wind is really blowing.
48:29The night sky is changing overhead.
48:33It's not just our physical.
48:35I'm a type who won't get up so pretty good.
48:39So let's make things physical.
48:42I will treat you like you're ever so typical.
48:45All you think of lately, is getting underneath me.
48:50Oh, bitch.
48:51There we go.
48:52The night sky is coming to me lately.
48:54Is how to get you underneath me.
48:57Get rid of it.
48:58The doors are.
48:59The lights make things physical.
49:01I will treat you like you're ever so typical.
49:05I want you, cause I want you.
49:08I want you.
49:10I want you to be.
49:11I want you to be typical.
49:11I want you, cause I want you to be.
49:15I want you to be.
49:16I want you to be typical.
49:20I want you to be.
49:27You'll be cool.
49:35You'll be sä Sum perceive the moods.
49:40I want you.
49:45I want you to be typical.
49:47I want to treat you like your typical
49:49I want to treat you like your typical
49:56All I want to get is
49:59A little bit closer
50:02All I want to know is

51:57Drag is all around us
52:00It's the costume, the character
52:02That you put on in the morning to face the world
52:05And anyone that can fearlessly self-express
52:08And share that in the world
52:10Should be commended
