14:27For me, I loved seeing the camaraderie and the sisterhood because it just reminds me of my sisters back home.

14:33It definitely threw me off, like, seeing these three because I know what they're capable of in Vancouver,
14:36and I've watched them for years.
14:38And I was so excited to, like, know some people here.
14:40The one thing that bugged me was I was about to lip sync, and, you know, the girls who I've
14:44known for, like, a day came and said,
14:46like, good luck, we believe in you, you can do this, but I had to come to you guys and,
14:49like, say bye,
14:50and that kind of stung a little bit, especially knowing you, but...
14:53I think it was just hard because it was obviously, it was Gia lip syncing the first week.
14:57And I get that.
14:58I probably just kind of beelined my focus to her, but that has nothing to do with you or, like,
15:02how much I care for you.
15:03And Kendall and I know how to get Gia focused like that.
15:05That's what it was.
15:06So, it was, like, it was the energy.
15:07Yeah, it was kind of, like, fight or flight for us three at that moment, so I do apologize at
15:10all.
15:10You know, I think it affected more the people that you actually know, that you didn't give any attention and
15:15all that.
15:15I know Yves had, like, a moment, several moments, with, like, Kendall.

15:21But it's so understandable.
15:23You guys are sisters, even tighter than the sisterhood we had here now.

15:48And what many of you don't know, because you're sitting on that side, is that throughout the competition, rude and
15:57uncalled for, you know, coming in here and being in this intense environment with your best friends, it's awesome.
16:06But we also did a fantastic job at, like, creating new relationships and built so many strong, meaningful connections with
16:14so many girls sitting on this stage.
16:17Well, Yves, you and Gia actually had some tense moments.

17:31Well, it was a couple things.
17:33I won the first challenge, so that helped a lot.

17:36The second thing was just talking with you judges because I keep my drag so, like, personal to myself.
17:41So I was just kind of, like, scared that, like, someone's going to say, you don't belong here.
17:46And then once you guys said, you belong here, I was like, okay, well, let's do this.
17:52Well, Isis, you're also the oldest queen in the competition.
17:56A lot of people would say that that is a disadvantage.
17:59Do you think that way or no?

18:01I never just become complacent in my drag.
18:04I try to stay on trend while making it my own thing.
18:07I love drag so much that I always want to continue to learn.
18:11And especially from amazing people like the ones that I'm around, I'm so inspired to continue for an under 100

18:41And once I found out what I'm being celebrated for, that made me comfortable.
18:45So once we hit that comedy challenge, I was like, I'll bet.

20:20And did that change having to lip sync in episode one?
20:23Having to lip sync for your life in week one, I really felt this moment where I had to
20:29let go of fear and I really learned to listen.
20:34I think that's where I built my confidence and from week one to sitting here now, I feel
20:40like a completely different person and I truly believe that sitting here today, I am the
20:45best version of myself that I have ever been.

21:13You know, I just wanted to consistently take all the good critiques that you guys gave

21:23I always tried to keep my performances like different so that they wouldn't become one
21:26note.
21:27And even the smallest little critiques that you gave me, I would apply them.
21:30You know what I mean?
21:30It's like turn the freak down a little.
21:31We want to see your glamour and your personality.
21:33You know, I did that.
21:34So just listening and evolving.
21:36So the workroom is such a safe space where absolutely no topic is off limits.

21:49He's always been proud that he has a gay dad.

21:56We were like coming out of the closet at the same time.

22:01For me, Halloween is always a little bit different because October 31st is actually my sobriety

22:08She was not a casual like drug user.
22:11There's no true opening for like an Asian drag queen.
22:14Like me, you have to be typecasted.
22:17So it's always, okay, can you do Lucy Liu?

22:20There's like this social pressure in the gay community not being skinny enough.
22:25It takes a toll.
22:26That idea that you're not enough.
22:29My parents haven't seen a person like me on TV and I get to show them, look, I have a
22:32family.
22:32I have friends that love me for who I am.
22:34I was adopted.
22:35So I never really struggled with the culture shock.
22:40I was like abandoned in the forest.
22:41And then my parents adopted me like my parents at the same time.
22:44But thank God you did.
22:45I'm so lucky.
22:47You know, like queer is sort of like a reclaiming of the word.
22:49It's more like about like liberation and it's more political.
22:52Many different identities.
22:54I think that's like when I realized that I like I'm alone in this fight.

23:29And like bring this character out of them that we get to experience so much.
23:33Because that confidence, it's unmatched.
23:35It was one of like the best things I've ever been a part of.

23:38Well, there was an amazing conversation around how everybody identifies and their pronouns.
23:43It was so interesting, but also really, really educational.
23:46What do you think the impact of a conversation like that will be?
23:51We're not having that conversation enough.
23:53I hadn't had it before that episode with anyone actually, but I learned from that.
23:59And I am going to have it with everyone I can because there's nothing worse than not
24:05feeling comfortable when talking to someone.
24:07And I just want everyone to be in a safe space with me.
24:10So I'll always start with which pronouns for me to use.
24:14So yeah, I've grown so much from that episode.
24:17It's just, it's beautiful.
24:18Being able to ask questions that are difficult is so important for us to be able to communicate
24:26and be able to talk about these things.
24:28For me, it's been extremely difficult because you don't want to ever disrespect someone before
24:35you even open your mouth.
24:37And this was just a great moment to be able to really educate ourselves in what is changing,
24:42what's happening in the world now.

24:52The moment where you knew you were going to get to the end?

25:06It really like shook me up and I was like, either it's going to be over and that's what happens
25:11or I can kick myself in the ass and really try to take it to the next level.
