00:06jailed for five years. Jordan Herring, aged 22, was found guilty of wounding following a trial
00:13at Birmingham Crown Court. Jurors heard the incident happened in November 2022, when the
00:1918-year-old victim suffered a collapsed lung and multiple fractures after falling from a flat in
00:26Charmsley Wood. Herring had also previously been convicted of coercive and controlling behaviour
00:32towards the same woman. Police say officers continue to support the victim, who has spoken
00:38about the lasting impact of the attack and her recovery afterwards, as she continues to rebuild her life.
