00:00The first pick of a team who was in the playoffs last year
00:05belongs to Carolina.
00:07Interestingly, I think their slot is the floor for Kenyon Sadiq.
00:17It appears that any time Sadiq falls in a draft far enough to meet Carolina,
00:24he is often selected.
00:26I think the issue a little bit with that is I'm not entirely sure Kenyon Sadiq
00:32has any chance to make it all the way down to 19.
00:36What do you think about that potential fit?
00:38And what are your thoughts on Kenyon Sadiq, the tight end out of Oregon?
00:42I like him.
00:43I mean, look at his body.
00:45He's got a great frame.
00:46I mean, you know, boxes out.
00:48I don't put Kenyon Sadiq, I'm going to say this right now,
00:52and maybe it's just because he played with Dante Moore.
00:55But I don't put him on the same level as Brock Bauer's coming out of Georgia.
01:00I just don't.
01:01I don't put him, you know, coming out where Fannin was as productive at Bowling Green,
01:07catching a ton of footballs, that I think Kenyon Sadiq is on the same level.
01:11Can he develop into that type of player?
01:14Absolutely.
01:14But I just think he's a little rigid in his body movement.
01:21I think he's a weight room guy.
01:23And again, has stepped up, but has been shut out in some games this year
01:27where against better competition.
01:29So, yes, I think he's a good tight end.
01:32I think tight ends are a premium if they're a first-round grade.
01:36Can he fall to 19?
01:38It's possible, but he's getting all the hype now, Kevin.
01:42I do not put him on the same level, though.
01:45I'm going to say this.
01:46Expecting him to hit the ground running like a Brock Bauer's 1,000-yard wide receiver
01:51in year number one, I just don't see it.
01:53And I do struggle with Bryce Young in Carolina.
01:57If he did go there, look, I don't even know where Bryce Young is in his development.
02:04You see the highs, you see the lows, he doesn't utilize the tight end consistently
02:09when you look at his play and his games throughout the regular season.
02:13Would Kenyon Sadiq elevate Ted McMillian and Coker and that wide receiver class?
02:19Yes, on paper, but I don't think it's a great fit with Bryce Young
02:23because I still think he has a world of development left in 2026.
02:30We have seen for tight ends it can be hard to be year one contributors.
02:38I mean, it's what makes Brock Bauer so special.
02:41I think, I know for me, for a lot of people, despite last year,
02:46I think he's still clearly the best tight end in the league.
02:48That's with respect to Trey McBride, who's one of the very, very best tight ends,
02:53one of the top three.
02:54I think it's probably Bowers, McBride, and Kittle as the three best tight ends in football.
03:00Obviously, Kittle's injured for the coming season.
03:02I don't think Sadiq would be a pick if you're being realistic in that room for Bryce
03:08as much as it might be the next quarterback, where whomever the next quarterback
03:12comes into year three, Tedaroa, McMillan, year two, Kenyon, Sadiq, Jalen, Coker.
03:18You go, okay, now we've got something to work with here, possibly in Carolina.
03:23Interesting for Sadiq is he has an over-under draft position on one book,
03:2715 and a half, minus 180 to the over, meaning he would be available to pick 16, 17, 18.
03:32I saw a New York Jets beat reporter, Rich Cimini, say he actually is kind of getting
03:38to a point where he'd be surprised if Kenyon and Sadiq were available come 16,
03:43where the Jets have that second selection.
