00:05They will take on the Philadelphia Eagles in a game that probably looks like the biggest spread change from the

00:13where you certainly would have expected Philly, with all systems go, to be 7, 10-point favorites maybe over Carolina.
00:19But Carolina does appear to be the better team, at least on paper.
00:23Philadelphia will start Tanner McKee at quarterback.
00:25We don't know yet if Devonta Smith is going to start.
00:27McKee did throw a touchdown pass to Smith in the first game that he ever played.
00:32Right now, the line looks about even.
00:34You see Carolina more or less as a slight dog or slight favorite, just depending on where you see it.
00:41Minus 3 right now is the current line.
00:44Yeah, look, I think Carolina, this is, Joe, for me, one game that I'll watch closely,
00:51because if I believe what is real about Carolina, then this is a game that they will win.
00:56But, man, it feels a little trappy to me.
00:59It feels a little trappy that Carolina can go on the road and beat Philadelphia and be favored in a
01:06road game.
01:07When was the last time Carolina was favored in a road game?
01:10And they are this week.
01:11I'm not saying that they shouldn't be.
01:13Too much unknown for me, though, with McKee.
01:15I think McKee could throw for 350 yards.
01:17I think he could throw for five interceptions.
01:19So I don't know.

01:22Well, look, I already, this is another one of the early line games that I liked,
01:26where I felt good about Carolina coming off a bye.
01:29They were plus one and a half, because I think Vegas was a little unsure of what was going on
01:32with the Eagles as well.
01:34And that was before the Jalen Hurts moves.
01:36And once the Jalen Hurts news came out, obviously, we saw that shift dramatically
01:40from plus one and a half on Carolina to minus three, minus three and a half,
01:43depending on where you're looking at it.
01:44Look, Carolina's coming off a bye.
01:46You're right.
01:46You know, Carolina on the road, should they always be favored in these kind of scenarios?
01:50Not necessarily.
01:51But this is an Eagles team that keeps finding ways to lose games.
01:54They're also finding ways to lose talent on the roster to play in these games.
01:59That's a bad combination.
02:00Not to mention, this is a team also coming off of travel from London, too,
02:05and that hangover of that, which typically does not go very well.
02:07So a lot of negatives there in that space.
