00:00Brian Dable's like, you know what?
00:01A little bit of self-reflection might be good.
00:03Let's hear from Brian Dable.
00:04I'm curious what your self-reflection process was like post-Giants
00:10and leading to now to where you said this was the exact position
00:15and place you wanted to be.
00:17I think, look, this is my 26th year in the National Football League going into it.
00:22You do that every year at whatever stop you're at.
00:25I think the most important thing is to be where your feet are at,
00:27and it's here at Tennessee.
00:30Tighten up, as they say.
00:31I'm excited to be here.
00:33I'm looking forward to it.
00:34There's a lot of things I've learned away, whether it was a defensive assistant,
00:37a quarterback coach, a receiver coach.
00:39You try to do a better job in the next place you're at,
00:41and my role is to try to help our football team be the best offense we can be
00:45under the direction of Robert, which I think is very important
00:49to take the lead from the head coach.
00:51So, again, we're excited.
00:53I think all the coaches downstairs are excited.
00:56I did tell Randy Jordan, I said I would get up here
00:58and say the sole reason why I came to Tennessee is because Randy Jordan
01:01was the running back coach.
01:03So, I wanted to put that out for him.
01:09Ah, good old Brian D'Abel out there.
01:10Now, the only question is, did he get the approval that he can go into the Blue
01:1410 whenever he wants if Cam Ward's getting checked for a concussion?
01:17Was that worked out in this contract or no?
01:19I don't think you're going to see him much on the sideline this year, Donnie,
01:24which is not a bad thing because apparently he doesn't look like he's missed
01:28too many meals since he was fired.
01:30So, the buffet is up in the press box.
01:32So, he looks like he can absolutely enjoy himself up there anyway,
01:36and it might be a little rough go early on for Tennessee as it is.
