00:15june we had our development camp first week of july and that development camp is for you know
00:22the draft class that we just picked as long as maybe two three sometimes even four draft classes
00:27deep from the previous years and the day that porter showed up at our training center in
00:31Voorhees he showed excellent leadership qualities right out of the gate you know i saw the point
00:37totals that he put up on and off the ice as far as like superstar numbers at the junior level
00:43but i didn't know that he was as much of a leader as he was he was the captain of
00:49team canada world
00:50junior team this past december and january at the world junior events that's that's a big deal
00:55where i come from and um he's not shied away from the moment at all i look back to my

01:00as a young player breaking in with the flyers and so many great players in the locker room john
01:06leclercq jeremy roenick mark recky all these great legends i took a serious back seat and i was happy to
01:12defer to these guys uh in the case of porter martone uh he's a great teammate right out of the
