00:04What did you learn from the experience of kind of bringing together a new group in the secondary last year?
00:08What did you learn from that that can kind of be expanded to the whole defense?
00:12Yeah, I think, you know, every year is new, you know, especially in today's age of college football with the
00:15transfer portal.
00:16You have to be able to adapt and adjust.
00:18So that's each and every year.
00:19And if you can't adjust right now, you're going to you're you're going to die as a coach.
00:23Right. Because your team may change year to year.
00:26So I think, you know, last season we had to replace five starters.
00:28This year, we've got a lot of guys coming back, but we lost a lot of guys as well.
00:32We've got we've got a lot of youth that we've got to develop.
00:35So it's just starting over each and every year.
00:37Start makeover at square one, ground one, not assuming that anyone knows anything and teaching the basics and the fundamentals.
00:44And then growing from there, teaching the concepts.
00:45And then we'll just gradually grow and add more to their plate as they can handle it.
