The Epstein files are sending shockwaves far beyond the United States, reaching Africa, particularly Kenya's Coast.
Transcript
00:00Recently released Epstein files have sparked global discussion about the convicted sex
00:06offenders' international connections. Several countries, including some African countries,
00:11are mentioned. That alone doesn't prove wrongdoing, but given Epstein's history, it raises questions.
00:18Kenya stands out due to a long-standing problem with child sex tourism, particularly along the
00:25coast. In a 2009 email, New York publicist Peggy Segal discussed traveling to Kenya,
00:31referencing the Maasai Mara, and made a flippant remark about bringing back a baby or two,
00:39likely alluding to Madonna's high-profile adoptions from Malawi at the time. In 2014,
00:45Kenya banned all international adoptions, citing concerns about child trafficking and weak safeguards.
00:52Photographs have also circulated showing Epstein visiting British entrepreneur
00:57Richard Branson at his property in Malindi, on Kenya's coast. The timing and purpose of the visit
01:04remain unclear. Malindi, however, has been reportedly identified by child protection services as a hot
01:12spot for child sex tourism. While none of this constitutes proof of criminal activity, it raises
01:19a question, how much can really be dismissed as coincidence?
